I'm getting a solid cutoff line were the autogen radius around my aircraft cuts off to flat blurry low rez terrain... I've seen a ton of screens with other people where the autogen ends and there is a soft haze that helps eliminate the cutoff line between the autogen buildings and tress and the flat terrain beyond. I've also seen screens where the terrain beyond the autogen looks higher rez making the cutoff less visible. I have Orbx Global and FTX installed with AS... What can I do to resolve this issue? JustSim Releases Innsbruck (LOWI) Update for Prepar3D ， It looks simple and doesn't know if it's worth buying. It looks much worse than orbx.

Guys - suddenly the mouse 'hand shaped' cursor is turning 'transparent' when going to select buttons (common example: any LSK on the FMC, or dials on the CDU) and this is happening in both PMDG and FSL aircraft ! The cursor doesn't completely disappear; it turns into a faint outline making it nearly impossible to see....extremely frustrating - and this just started happening. I have reset shaders, played around with resolution etc etc but no fix so far. This 'feels' like a Windows graphics setting but I am not sure how to fix it. Despite my current P3D troubles, I can't stop myself from having a look for anything new at Simmarket. Low and behold, Prealsoft has released, out of nowhere, a rendition of Casablanca GMMN! I believe this might well be the first major Maroccan non-holiday destination. I'm pretty excited, for it looks very good! Nicly detailed models and great texturing. For the supposed quality, the price of 21 Euro seems justified. The one thing that puts me off is that it doesn't state compatibility with P3Dv4. It appears to go up to v3 only. While I've had lots of luck with older v3 airports, certainly those that do not employ some sort of custom modules to activate or place terrain, …

Hello i have a friend who dont speak English so he ask me to help him but i dont know how. he has PTA and when he active it he get on is p3d a black screen . so i disabled it for him but still he payed money. does someone know how to fix it. and does envtex support tomatoshade?

Hello, Has anyone overcome the issue with the AI Navigation, Landing and strobe lights on Prepar3D? mines are awful, AI airplanes looks like they have ball of fire on each wing from distance and no strobe light visible from distance, this is totally unrealistic. I have spend a considerable amount of time trying to overcome the problem but I have failed, so far I tried: 1) Use Shockware lights as I did for FSX-SE, this failed since the effects don't work anymore since P3D V3. 2) I tried to assign the .fx effects lights used by PMDG and Carenado, both failed as the strobe lights don't work and the navigation lights are invisible from the distance. Hi all After a break of many years for various reasons from flight simming I’ve got the bug to get back to it. I previously had fsx with a couple of addons and dabbled with Vatsim too. im looking at getting p3d. I’m looking for advice please on what addons will help with creating realistic simming. I'm interested in: ground services which I believe GSX covers? Can someone explain the differences between Tomato Shade and PTA? I use PTA now but became interested in checking out Tomato. However, they appear to be conflicting products. Is that the case or can they be used together? I downloaded Tomato, but didn't see any instructions on how to install it properly. Thanks

I installed the latest version of Imaginesim ZSPD and there were a lot of bugs, but I don't know how to give feedback to their after-sales. 1. Using fslabs320, facing the 16R runway, the landing lights cannot illuminate the ground. When the viewing angle is shifted to one side, the landing lights are normal. Other runways have this problem. 2. The runway lights and ILS of the 17R 34L runway are offset to the right by 10 meters. 3. A lot of taxiways are missing. I am using P3D 4.5 HF1, AS16, REX Skyforce Thank you! !

Looks like CaptainSim has or is about to release the 757 Freighter Expansion for $49.99. Not sure if it includes all the engine models or if you need the RR model for the RR freighters. It lets you get to checkout but it won't except PayPal payment.

Since I finally bought a weather program for Prepar3d, I was wondering why we cannot turn on the building/flood lights during dark inclement weather. I know a few developers who have created automatic runway and taxi lighting for these conditions such as FlyTampa/Flightbeam/LatinVFR. It seems only Ricardo from LatinVFR thought this was a good idea, everyone else ignored it! Darryl

Everyone seems to recommend Simbrief, so I thiught I'd give it a try. I put in the following information: Flight Plan: KCHA BNA J45 DENNI JHAUN KSUS at FL260 Alternate: KJEF Aircraft: C510 Mustang The generated briefing showed a 2hour and 5min flight requiring 2600 pounds of fuel. Both numbers make no sense. I flew the opposite direction yesterday and had the following results: Flight time: 1:24 Block to block time: 1:36 Fuel spent: 954 pounds I could be doing something wrong. Does anyone know about this new REX product on their website? It's called Terraforce and is 1.2m per pixel resolution photo-scenery for the entire US. I recently noticed that when I have cloud shadows on, I tend to lose 25% to 50% of FPS in cloudy weather, not all around, only when panned in certain direction. I wonder if there is a known solution to this. I did search REX forum. I have REX sky force, DTX5 1024 cloud textures use. i7 + 1080 with reasonable settings. I normally get 40FPS at all times. I know most of you use Active Sky but my "retired" budget likes REX Sky Force 3D's sale price much better. How much better is Active Sky in tracking storm fronts/conditions and in quality of the actual clouds and weather conditions? Thanks for any commentary or opinions that can help me, Darryl

Does anyone know a fast method to add world camera near to the start the landing runway? The procedure I know is to move aircraft to that specific landing runway and create a world camera "there" setting it up as you want. This method you should do for every runway you are interested in. Very annoying. But suppose you make a flight from A to B and while your are in short final you want to create a camera for "B" runway and you have not created before, how you can do it? I remember in Active Camera for FS2004 there was the chance to add camere "on the fly", clicking left mouse button+ctrl on a point of the runway you were landing on when you were in VC. How …

Hello all, I have just replaced my P3Dv4.5 SSD and re-installed P3D. Everything went well but I find now, after spending a fair amount of time assigning buttons, keys and Axis settings, I find that everytime I turn off the computer and restart P3D, I have to re-set all my Saitek settings. I have read posts but nothing is appearing to work, I have copied the P3D (Lockheed Martin) Config to Desktop after setting it all up for the third or fourth time, deleted the original, to let P3D reset its own config settings. After finding that I have to reset again, I have then deleted the config file and replaced with the desktop saved version. That made no differenc…

I was thinking of getting this, but I don't know if it would be wasted on me. I use PFPX for flight planning, ASP4 for weather and Pro ATC X for ATC. The main things that are drawing me to EFB are the up to date charts and the interactive airport layouts. Pro ATC X has an interactive airport layout but it's fairly limited, and the taxiways can be very inaccurate. Also, does the one-off payment for EFB cover me as far as charts go? I mean will I able to view charts for all eternity without having to pay again? I suppose I'm looking for someone to convince me that it's worth buying, even though I have all the above applications. At 55 notes it's not cheap.

HI, I've tried searching previous post in this Forum without success so perhaps someone can help please. I have P3Dv4 and the P38, however I'm unable to get the radio to function (can't change frequency) there is no GPS (I appreciate there wasn't during WWII either:-) ) and I was wondering if this included aircraft, is just an advert for the MilViz model and is not designed to be fully functional? The included manual is of little help. I'm pretty new to P3D although not to Flying or Flight Sim. Any help, advice or observations appreciated. Thanks. Blue
