Hello! I wanted to get your opinions to see if you think Process Lasso is worth it for P3D V4.5. I curenlty have an i7 4770K and it bottlenecks. The question is, will it help better manage P3D and my cores and potentially improve performance? I am sick of hearing my fan go high speed and make a lot of noise. I must also say that I am OC to 4.4ghz. Thanks all!

Hello I have encountered twice a strange issue: when approaching an aiport, an artifact appears which is basically the runway / taxiway textures perpendicular to the ground, pointing upwards above the ground: https://imgur.com/a/L41eml0 I initially thought of it as a particular addon bug, but I have had this happen with two different airports by different developers - MK Studios GCTS and Aerosoft GCLP. Any idea on what could be causing this? I find it a strange coincidence happening in the same region (Canary islands) while it hasn't happened anywhere else. Cheers

Hi, on my flightsim recently i have noticed the autogen when landing either doesnt load, or loads very slowly where i am under around 1000ft. i dont have any problems on departure autogen loads perfect on departure however on landing it seems to occur and look very unrealistic. i have seen a few forums with this error and fixes suggest locking frame rates, however doing this i lose performance and i dont really want to do this as i know my pc can handle it as its reasonably high end and was handling it fine before this week, its as if something has just triggered it? i have seen fixes such as remove affininty masks etc. I was wondering if anyone had a clear fix, or tips …

Hello all, I am very frustrated so please forgive me. I have P3D v4.0 and all Saitek panels. radios switch panel autopilot yoke throttle trim wheel rudder pedals and 6 instrument panels I have them hooked up to a separate external powered 2.0 USB hub with plenty of amps to run each device. A Coolgear Metal 7-Port USB 2.0 Powered Slim Hub. Two of them running off the 3.0 USB hubs on my PC. I have tried spadnext, downloads from Logitech, actual cd disks, and have been all over the forum to find out how to get these things to work. Anyone out there able to lend a guy a hand? Here are what I am running P3D V 34, My Traffic 6, and Orbx Germany North and South I purchased the Germany FTX regions many months ago, and uninstalled them when I saw the horrible FPS I was getting with the tubeliners I was flying at the time. Recently, as I described on another thread, I began flying all A2A GA aircraft again, tried Germany North and South, and got acceptable FPS with the GA aircraft. So far, everything working smoothly. Question. It would cost me near $200 AU for the pmdg version. Is the CS version worth the $20 I have read that people say its bad on fps and other things. But is it really that bad for $20 bucks? Regards

I recently installed a 1TB NVME SSD to replace the 500GB SSD that I used exclusively for P3D and P3D stuff. Of course a bunch of P3D files are also on the C:\ drive. When I did this, the 1TB was initially assigned to letter H:\ since the other SSD was still installed and assigned to E:\. After I uninstalled the 500 GB SSD I reassigned the 1TB to letter E:\ and everything P3D seemed to be relinked and happy. But Now it seems my scenario loading times are much longer (~3mins of which ~2mins is at the 6% mark). Did I do something wrong and where should I look? I already checked the %Appdata% and ProgramData files like addons.cfg and dll.xml and they haven't changed from a ba…

Hi all, P3D V4.4 user here, desperately seeking help. I've been struggling with this for 24-48 hours now. Can't tell when exactly this happened, but yesterday I was about to to a flight and noticed how sparse my world is. Looking around I realized it isn't like what it should be, loads of trees and buildings, perhaps other autogen objects too, are missing. Hello guys! Today I want to fly with the ATR72 of Carenado, but when I install and then I loaded it on P3D, I get very very low FPS (6-7FPS), when my normal FPS are 30-35. Hello guys, I use P3Dv4.5 and ALL my key assignments are through FSUIPC, never been an issue but today without making any changes on the sim all my default key assignments are back! no idea why, and is a pain to delete them one by one again, Im doing it now anyway but what happened? never seen this before to be honest, please if anyone can help please, thanks!!

And yet another release I've been wanting: the Qualitywings 757 for P3Dv4 http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=qw757p3d4 I do own the CS757, and while I like it, I'm not in love with it. For the grand total of 15$ to get all 757 models ever produced in the QW package, I feel like I'll probably just go ahead and get this QW757. If I feel like it's too simplistic, it wouldn't have been too big an investment anyway... I do remember it being a bit too easy, so there certainly is that chance. Goodday captains, Recently I bought the CS 737-200, now I installed the retrofit for the ISG gauges in it. But it is NOT following my LNAV flightplan. (with MSE) I created as usual the Texture folder next to the Scenery. But trees and buildings are missing. So I want to create some scenery for P3D but don't know where to start. So in Southern California, there is a place called Star Wars Canyon where the military practices flying through the canyon and there is an overlook where spectators can watch. Basically what I am trying to create is the lookout that overlooks the canyon. It's just a small parking lot and maybe a bathroom. I have the ORBX Socal scenery which helps make the scenery better but would love to have the overlook and maybe a couple of cars. How easy would this be to do if I don't have any experience with this? The most I have done is learn how to repaint some aircraft. Thanks

1. I start P3Dv4.5HF, 2. Go To Location 3. Enter lat, long, heading, airspeed; Click OK. 4. Change Aircraft to Orbx's "BOB"; Click OK. 5. After moving to the location, with airspeed=0, an aircraft (not Bob) immediately crashes. It seems that P3D ignores the instructions I provided. What's going on here? How do I resolve this? About 9 months ago, I purchased Orbx FTX Germany North and South. I already had all the US FTX regions, plus Scotland, the UK, Ireland and Norway. After installing Germany I tried to fly in that scenery, and my P3D 3.4 was like a slide show. Normally I get around 30 FPS, and it's smooth. Germany was so bad, that I finally just uninstalled both Germany North and South, and chalked it ujp to experience. By the way, the only aircraft I was flying then was the PMDG 737 and the Majestic. Q400. Just recently, I decided that I missed flying all my A2A GA aircraft at altitudes where I could see the scenery, I decided yesterday to try to reinstall Germany South, to see how it…

I stumbled upon an issue and a stupid mistake I made, advice that has been given here before, but the issue wasn't a stupid mistake. I noticed after a Windows update, that Windows blew away my most recent Nvidia driver to an older one, so I went back to GeForce Experience to get the most current driver to date. I noticed all three sims I have had some stutters, AeroflyFS2, Xplane11, and P3DV4, the topic here. I reinstalled Client 4.5 and found the FPS dropped from 45 to 27. Then client 4.4 returned and FPS returned to 45 Has anyone noticed this? (ORBX, A-Sky, UtLive, GSX, EDDM)

I'm thinking of adding offline ATC to my flying. I do some online ATC but find I still have to press that "P" button more times than I like even when I think I have sufficient time for a one or two hour flight. Care to share your thoughts on setup times for each flight on top of everything else? I'm mostly flying the Q400 but am giving more serious time to the PMDG 737NGX the past few months. Setup times with flight planning, EFB, weather, FMC and full cockpit prep are getting longer as I add more goodies.
