Just in case you have been waiting for Orbx to release a patch for Buildings HD, a workaround has been found for the ugly airport building roof patterns that appeared in many default airports. is it possible to import saved FLT, FSSAVE, WX files into p3dv4?

I have moved from FS2004 to P3d . In fs9 the Numeric 5 button was mapped to top view. If you push it with any other digit it would give you a combined view, for example top back or top right. See screenshots. How can I achieve this in P3D? I have mapped the down view command to Num5 but it only works inside the cockpit, so that I see the ground. When in outside view - pushing this command gives you view from the back. P.S. I do not want to install any additional software. I want to get the same view as in FS9 using SPOT. Thank you!

Hi, During all my last flights I had the same problem. About 1 to 2 hours after take off, at cruise altitude, suddenly the AP was disconnected. Impossible to reconnect it. Did some body allready encuer this, and any solution?? Thank's Yves from ELLX.

I have just managed to find a way to use the bgl files from AI Live Traffic with VoxATC, thereby providing some element of "live" control of AI aircraft with VoxATC in Prepar3D v4.5. I am using the FLAI package as the AI input to AI Live Traffic and thence the compiled bgl files read and processed by VoxATC. Watching arrivals at Heathrow, I noted that all Boeing 787 aircraft eventually stall and crash into the ground on the approach. Closer inspection of the aircraft themselves has revealed that the flaps do not operate on these aircraft on the approach, but the slats are extended. I have the demo of UK2000 EGCC to test, but when I try and load P3D, it CTDs. I have Orbx South England.

I have recently wanted to start using the sim as a hobby. I have recently purchased Orbx south England and global. I have also purchased Active sky and Tomatoshade, i am looking to purchase more addons in the future. I attempted to use the sim after downloading the addons and i have had a ridiculously bad frame rate to where it is unusable atm. I am using the sim on my Alienware 17 gaming laptop so it should be running fine but i cannot run it to a usable rate. If anybody knows of anyway to solve this please let me know as i love using P3D and would hate to stop using it for an unknown reason and i want to continue build with the addons but i can't until i fix this.

When I try to input a flight plan. I go to PROC scroll down to Depart then to PROC again to select arrival.. If I slip up and make a mistake and go back to correct it, The airport field starts scrolling fast constantly (As if its scanning) and I can't get it to stop. The only way I can re-enter a flightplan is to break out of Prepar3dv4 and try again. How do I get the scrolling to stop without restarting Prepar3d? Thanks Walt

Hi all. Sorry to be a pest, but wondering if you all can help me and tell me where the scenery.cfg file is in P3D V4? I have installed what Orbx products are working in P3D V4 and I know they are NOT showing up. Example, I installed Bowerman airport and I KNOW it is not showing up. It looks like the default or the FTX Global is over the airport instead. Do I have to go in and add each individual scenery that I add to the Scenery Library afterward? This might be a moot question, but here goes...Is there any easy way to move P3d V4.4 to a new drive without re-installing the entire program? I am collecting more scenery, planes, etc., than I ever thought I would, and the drive on which I originally installed the simulator is rapidly approaching full...I would like to move the entire installation to a new SSD with lots of room, but I shudder at doing a complete re-install...Suggestions would be welcome...Thanks!

Both my display monitors are running at 1920 x 1080 but every so often when I first launch P3D I immediately get a message that states... Prepar3D requires a minimum display resolution of 1024 x 720. Would you like to change your display resolution? Whether I say YES or NO nothing happens. So I just restart P3D again and all is OK. Why does this happen and what can I do to fix it.

Hi guys I really need your help. After the summer break I came back home a when I start using my P3D V4.5 FSLabs A320X I started noticing my FPS were around 10-15 when they were usually at 30FPS. And the a 2 weeks nightmare began. I ended up uninstalling everything, even my windows 10 PRO. After reinstalling latest BIOS, Windows, Drivers, P3D V4.5 Vanilla, I was getting no more than 40FPS in the default situation, I used to have around 200fps. I noticed my core 0 was at 100% and the rest of the cores between 0% and 5% (I currently have a 9700K not overclocked, GTX 1080Ti, 16RAM). Who can explain what each of these files is responsible for? I know only about the file APX, NAV is stored there. The file OBX I think he is responsible for the building? The file BRX,CVX?

Hi, I've never been able to fly the QW787 P3Dv4 since the day one, when I have a new addon I always change the IRS Alignement time for a realistic one, not fast. But with the QW787 when I change it in the info page, I set 420 secondes I click on the box and it says ''0 sec'' and I can't change the value, by the way after that I can't align IRS and I have to reinstall the aircraft. The QW support never answered, I've asked Flight1 for a forgotten password and I'll repost again on the support forum when I'll receive the mail, but the last time they seemed to not care at all so...

So I made the 29 EUR plunge and bought RJTT Tokyo Haneda by Technobrain. But even though the AFX/AFCAD file looks fine for parking positions (most are 35.0m radius), none of my AI are parking at the airport at all. Any ideas?

Hello, with my Aerosoft airbusses on P3Dv4 i can adapt the engine sound level but with my 4 liveries of FSL (even original FSL bus), this one slider is in OFF position at zero, i can put it on and slide to 70 percent and save, but when i look back, the engines slider is off again and at zero, the other sound sliders work OK, is this normal ? Info: Altough the slider remains at zero, i can hear the engines, OK so far, but i cannot adapt...

Most notably in the software business. As much as I am a fan of ORBX products (I have a lengthy collection), I have ceased purchases for now. I`m not sure if this is the present consensus for many but here are some reasons why: 1. I am in the process of updating the Bahamas scenery. This pack includes updated vector, land class, water class, static objects, and all airports for these region. All airports are now accurately located and updated. In P3Dv4.1 I fly the XP_GLJ25_v2r1. I have purchased the F1 GTN 750-650 Complete. The LearJet 25 has the GTN 750-650 in the virtual cockpit, but it appears very dark and hard to see. Is there a way to make the GTN 750-650 display in the VC, brighter? Brian BJ from OZ
