Hi guys What are peoples experience with the frame rate? Mine is a strange mixture of 30 FPSsolid then 7-8FPS at other times, I can't seem to make much sense of it! I've got a GTX680 with an I7-3820 so admittedly it is aging but it should be enough?

Hey Guys. In the short time I've been using P3DV4 I've acquired quite a few US airports. I notice almost all of them have a manual setting for the season. When do you guys usually start changing yours? Do you do it all at once. Do you start with the northern airports first to the fall season then work your way south? Just curious what everybody does.

Is it just me or is the complete abandonment of the REX forum and the switch to a ticket-only support the worst thing they could ever do? I mean, seriously? In 2019, a company stops using a forum but a ticket based support system instead? This is utterly ridiculous and if I would not really like their products, this would be instantly a reason to uninstall all their products and never use them again. Don't they see how valuable the support given by customers to customers is? I mean, how many support questions are regularly solved by users knowing a lot about the software/addon jumping in for help? Why a company want's to simply give away this basically free support? …

After doing a clean install of P3D 4.5 hotfix 1, I cannot seem to get the visibility to work correctly. Even when using manual weather settings (no weather engine at all), the visibility slider does not make any difference. Even with it set to 1/8 mile the visibility rendered is nearly unlimited. Any ideas?

Hello, So I think I have a great working combination of AI traffic with AIG AI Manager, MAIW, and modification of the default P3D traffic.bgl file (by using AIFP3, and removing all the fake commercial traffic). At last, I have commercial, freight, military and GA together. Stupendous. And it all looks fantastic. However, at first glance the traffic level seemed kind of light, so I started to use AIFP3 to adjust the traffic levels. It seems I can't get a nice equilibrium, i.e. an approximate level of traffic at a large commercial airport that I would expect. I'm trying the randomize function with numbers such as '10-99' and settings like that. Usually …

Hi everyone, I use AI traffic mainly because I just don’t like arriving at „ghost“ airports where no aircraft is parked at the gates. But I don’t really care for in-flight AI traffic. Now since the AI traffic keeps messing up my approaches by blocking the runways or flying into my path etc, (I don’t want to use the stupid p3d ATC either) I was wondering if there’s a way to keep the traffic from moving at all? Just load the planes but make them sit there..... Is that possible ? greets Stu

Hi, I just bought the CS757-200PW & -200RR in the sale and I’ve done a couple of Flights on it. However, I have found that the stabiliser trim doesn’t work. I click to drag it and it springs back to the default position and when I press the button on my yoke to move it, nothing happens. Note that no changes have been made in the control settings as it works perfectly fine on my other aircraft. One takeoff roll, I get a Master warning and blaring alarm warning me that the Stabiliser trim isn’t set - yet I can’t set it. Also, how do I calculate the amount of pitch I need? If I just want to do an ILS on the fly does anybody know how to manually set the ILS in this plane? I'm running into a problem. It is staying in auto mode and the field next to the ILS in the FMC is just saying PARK and will not accept any manual scratchpad entries. I'm looking to key in specific ILS frequencies. I tried posting to the QW forum, but not getting help. Thanks.

Hi all, I've just installed UK 2000 EGCC v2 into P3Dv4.5, but I'm having trouble getting all the gates to show up. I can see the gates when in the sim, but there are lots missing when I try to load in at one of the gates for a starting location. On this screenshot from EFB v2, I hope you can see what I mean, gates 50-52 for example aren't there, but you can see the taxiway leading to them. I would like it so they show up on here and so that I can start there in the sim. Hoping someone can help, Andrew

Hi all this question has proberbly been asked a thousand times i have been on thistopic all week so far and can find nothing on the forums or net ] does p3d have its own warp program for 2 projectors and2 screens because im at my witts end trying to figure out whats going on .if not im looking for a warping program that wont mean me getting a loan out been in touch with a couple of companies today and they all say hey aits over a grand forour warping software ...i must admit im loosing faith in this build if i cant get a decent wp ..i would appreciate any help please ...

Hi Does anyone know if this utility FS Real Time by 3dsoftworks will be compatible with p3d v4? will this still be useful. I am not sure if LM have fixed the time zone issue which is seen in native fax.

I have an Asus Strix 980 and I was wondering whether to make a overclock. In P3D, is useful or useless? Have any of you tried it? Eventually, what values have you put? In the web they are found many, but all different, and I am inexperienced in this. Thanks

Has anyone found a way to get the AG to draw all the way to the horizon? Even with the AG distance slider all the way to right, I still get these annoying loading tiles in the distance. I also see in the distance the line where the AG stops displaying. One would think that after multiple updates to v4 that this issue would have already been addressed be fixed. Maybe there's a hidden secret that I'm not aware of, such as: [SCENERY] SCENERY_DRAW_DISTANCE=128000.000000 Increasing tweak the draw distance to 128000 does not extend the AG any further than just moving the draw distance slider all the way to the right. Hello, I've got some ORBX issue with ORBX Base and LC Europe Here are 2 Screens from EDDL (Justsim) You can see that there are some issues with Landscape. Trees and some Buildings are placed in water (river) and some "cities" are merged with other landscape. Where is the Problem? In my scenery libary everything seems to be okay. ORBX starts below the last payware Add-on. Hope someone can help me. ORBX Base, LC Europe and Vector is installed - everything is up to date

Getting into flying the LM C-130 in and out of Mil bases but am dismayed at the total absence of Mil AI AC at any of the default Mil AP's? Is there anyway to add some MIL AI and are there MIL parking spaces at these AP AFCADS so the MIL AI doesn't show up at commercial AP's? Using UTL at the moment for my AI... Thanks!

Since I have not yet purchased either the FSDT or the DD KORD, and with the DD airports currently on sale, I am hoping to get opinions on which one to get. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Pete

Today I was in the South Alps Regions between Souh Austria (Klagenfurt LOWK) and Slovenia (Ljublijana LJLJ) and saw lots of very odd looking high terrain textures especially just North and North-East of LJLJ where you can see "Farmer Field Textures" above 7000 ft where you normally find only rocks and some grasses and I can't find what is causing it. The rest of the alps and other high terrain looks very normal to me. I'm using ORBX FTX Global Base, Vectors and FTX Next Gen Global Mesh 2018 EU version. Thanks in advance...

I had to reinstall the QW757 but I forgot to uninstall the liveries from the livery manager from the first installation. It is now giving me the error message "A repaint with this name already exists" despite not showing in the list. Does anyone know how to manually uninstall the previous liveries/ where they are found? Thanks in advance for any help, Aaron UPDATE: solved, please delete/disregard

This is not a critical issue but it is rather annoying and makes me very curious - here is the issue, if anyone has any wise words to pass on I would appreciate them. When I load my favorite aircraft the Carenado Baron BE58 either from a saved flight or just a new load - when the system has finished loading the aircraft makes a very loud THUMP!!. Almost sounds like it has fallen out of the sky. This only happens with the Baron and only started happening about a month ago and the only changes has been the new ORBX Central. Strange enough this also used to happen with my Carenado Caravan 208B but for some unknown reason it does not happen to the Caravan anymore. …

Hello all i need some help ive either activated something on p3d but whenever i fly i see big massive blocks to ,i think denote areas you pass through some of then blue others white any ideas on how to turn these off cheers paul

I have suffered from pauses in P3d forever. Don't get me wrong....I have wonderful flights and very, very smooth. BUT, every so often, especially when I changed views, I would suffer severe pauses for up to 10 seconds, and it was especially annoying and disruptive to my perception of smooth flight. I truly believe after much research, I have solved my "pause problem" and I proved it to myself tonight. Here's what I did: I have created EXCLUSIONS in my anti-virus program (ESET - Nod32). I excluded the whole program, Lockheed Martin, and all that's underneath it. I have excluded REX Sky Force Folder I have excluded my HiFi Folder because I use Acti…
