I have a problem with Ultimate traffic live, I didn't notice before but I get double AI planes(with same flight number destination and aircraft type) with some flight in p3d4, is this normal or there a way to fix? I have the AI traffic density slider at 60 % can be this the problem? thx

Currently on a two week round the world flight in a RealAir Duke Turbine 2. Discovering lots of errors in time zone offsets as I fly to various countries. For example. I'm currently on the ground at Uluru (Ayers Rock) in central Australia. Real world time is 15th Aug 2030Zulu. Local real world time on the ground is 0610 Australian Central Standard Time, which is +9:30hrs ahead of Zulu. But in the sim, the clock on the dash shows local time as 0540 even though the UTC time in the sim is correct at 2040 the previous day. So the time zone offset is only +9 hours and not the required +9:30hrs. The clocks in the sim were also wrong in Surabaya, Indonesia, b…

Hey guys, I am just trying to figure out on what the load times are for the 80gb 2018 Pilot's NG mesh vs 2010 FTX (25gb approx) one. I have the 2010 FTX version. Just debating to update or not. I am assuming that there could be performance update as one is made in 2010 with probably fsx sdk and 2018 is made with prepar3dv4 sdk/tools/encoding etc and well geared for 64bit sim Follow up question will be - is 2018 NG 80 gb vs 2018 FTX version (25gb) better or pretty much the same in terms of performance --- yes I know it is loaded question. I'm in the process of deciding on a CPU upgrade which will require a new motherboard. Will I have to do any uninstalling and reinstalling of P3D v4.5 and/or addons? I fly the PMDG 737 with Active Sky Next, Pilot2ATC, ORBX Global Base Pack Scenery, EZDok. Bob

Can anyone recommend a Force Feedback joystick for P3D (not HOTAS).

I need to update the AFCADs for KBUF and Digital Design's Liverpool (Liverpool keeps uninstalling on its own). I have the AFCADs. Please tell me where these original AFCADs are located in P3d so that I can "OFF" the originals and replace them with the updated ones. I've never done this so I do not know where they are located. I've looked pretty much everywhere but to no avail. The Digital Design Liverpool is the most important one. Thanks, Stan

I'm doing a clean install of P3dv4 , i have the Topsim terrain mesh and a pile of Orbz regions and airports , should i install terrain mesh 1st before the orbz products or does it matter ?

Reviving this thread since I'm still on the lookout for an app that does what PDFkneeboard did prior to v4. I know there are alternatives but none of them are as practical and they can't be added as an addon in P3D..

Sorry for the poor title, but its pretty much my issue. Running P3d v4.5 with active sky and REX sky force, I found a huge FPS loss when it comes to the detailed clouds option. Flying into TAPA last night they was a storm going on which caused my normal 30(locked) or 50+(unlocked) for that region to plummet to the single digits. I have never had any fps loss with this option being used before and normally had it on the highest setting, but i'm guessing my hiatus from playing has been very limited over the last month or two due to lack of performance. Hi guys, I am so jealous of people that have GSX because they have all kinds of cool service vehicles to use. I only spot AI planes and never fly myself. So I am wondering is there a program freeware or payware that gives us AI users more service vehicles or at least gives us better models. I am so tired of seeing the ugly empty baggage cart and push back vehicle. They look so sad next to those beautiful baggage carts and other service vehicles from GSX. I have heard that GSX will never be made to work with AI planes and I do have the REX wordwide airports which have some vehicles but I don't have it installed because it takes too much space on the computer. Howdy Y'all, so I have been flying the Alabeo Piper Aztec from the south tip of Africa back to it's new home in Yoakum, TX. I have been flying all day with no problem, up at 21'000ft or so given it is a turbo aztec, but now it all of a sudden acts like a NA aztec, not allowing me to maintain airspeed above about 14'500ft. my first thought was that P3D had simulated a dual turbo failure, but after not seeing anything in the failures list, I clicked on the "reset all" option, still nothing. Has anybody had a similar issue and if so do you know what the issue is? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I have tried all of them, and coming from using EF only lately, I am reconsidering which is the best option. Your input would be very beneficial for me and I am sure for many others. Hello, I bought Mumbai VABB by Thai Creations. It was created for FSX but it is compatible with P3d v4 (thanks to dynamics light packages) except for private buildings around the airport. I tried to convert vabb_gmax_building.bgl with ModelConverterX without success; but actually I am not very familiar with this tool. Is there any way to fix it? Thank you.

Flying the F-16 over the carribean sea I see map tiles textured onto the water. Why is this? I see it from the cockpit and in outside view. Doesn't happen in the Beaver. Maybe someone knows why and can assist me in finding out the reason? Thx, Karl

Hello, some days ago I installed all PMDG v4 aircrafts new on my laptop. Scince this, the sim doesn't start anymore... It shows the main picture of P3D but when it tries to open the main menu, the picture is gone and there is nothing. The Task Manager tells me, the sim, SODE and courtal are running but it isn't shown in the Task Line too! I've reinstalled PMDG and AS16, I've even already reinstalled my P3D and the same problem... Under troubleshooting it shows me "Failed to connect". Please help me! Win 10 i7-5700HQ SSD128G GTX970

Hello. After I failed to set up P3Dv3 on my new laptop, I decided to get a refund and get v4 instead. Anyway, I wanted to continue recording my flights and since FSRecorder doesn't work with P3Dv4, I decided to first try to instant replay, and that ended with the aircraft bouncing around, shaking violently, etc on the ground. Then I tried flightcontrolreplay, same result. The aircraft bouncing around, shaking violently, gear falling through the ground. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? The aircraft I'm using is the PMDG 737

Has anyone any suggestions re settings.... I have P3D v4.5 on a brand new PC (Intel I7 processor) with a NVidea RTX1070 8GB graphics card. I use a Samsung 32" Monitor and it all works great, with no flicker at all. I added a second monitor so that I could place the MCP and CDU on a separate screen and the Screen Flicker is horendous. I have updated the NVidea driver but that shows no improvement at all. The Samsung is connection via the Display port and the second screen via HDMI Thanks in advance

During flights with my FSLabs A320 i can observe rattling and bumping sounds, nice and immersive, but quite loud; where can i adapt the level of these sounds ? with all sound-sliders to zero, this sounds stays at the same level, is it P3d generated or FsLabs ? can i adapt a level somewhere in a cfg.file ?

I'm currently touring FTX Norway and I thought I'd pay a visit to a neighboring Sweden but I don't have any scenery for it. I found this freeware scenery for Sweden - SWEDEN DESIGN v2 - on flightsimnorway website. It says it's P3D v3 compatible but no mention of v4. Does anybody use it? Is it generally v4 compatible or are there any major issues? Any other scenery or airport suggestions for Sweden?
