Hey guys, I would like current 2080 users to chime in as 2070 Super is pretty much similar to 2080 card in terms of performance. What are the big gpu options which help in Prepar3d. I am coming from 4GB 980 GTX, Which options are useful for using 8gb of VRAM - I do believe the hi res texture option is a good option to use. What other options are really going to use the card's gpu Yes, I do know I do not expect all the sliders to the right and expect full speed. As that will never happen with the current P3D engine. I am trying to figure out the options and then I can optimize it further to work real well with Rift S. Thanks,

Hello, 2 days ago I did fresh reinstall of Windows because of my new MB and SSD. I started installing p3d and addons like pmdg 737,777, ezdok, orbx, rex 5, fslabs a320 etc.. Everything works fine but when it comes to gsx there is one big problem which Im trying to solve for about a day. When i try install GSX I dont have an option to install it to P3D v4 (like P3D is not installed). I tried to follow the instructions described in some topics like this: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=15738.0 My registry is OK, Avast completely off and I've tried fix registry too. I don't know what I can do anymore...

(not sure if this was the right place to post this) I bought FSXFlight, the GPS tool to connect P3D V4.5 to Foreflight via FSUIPC. And I am getting the same laggy performance I get from connecting my computer directly to the router. The dev's webpage says "Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back." which I assume is their version of a refund policy. It's a great addon that I am sure is helping many simmers, just my setup does not let me connection P3D V4.5 to ForeFlight effectively. Kind of a confusing question, so I hope I can ask this properly. I would prefer to use Rex soft clouds in p3d v4. I'll be installing envtex shortly and have a few questions. I know envtex works with ASCA, but one question I have is does envtex use ASCA for sky colors? Does it add a lot more variety over just using Envtex sky colors? I know in ASCA I would select the full dynamics option. Then under ASCA settings I would just like to have 'sky textures' checked. I would uncheck 'cloud textures', 'cirrus' and 'cloud structures'. Hi I have P3DV4 and FSX SE, and I also use FS Real Time program. My question: When I go to install this program I only can choose a simulator, first of all I usually choose P3DV4, but I would like to use it with FSX SE therefore, How can I use fs real time with p3dv4 and fsx se? (I don't mean at the same time) Do I install the program a second time and choose FSX SE? p3dv4 and fsx must they found on the same hard drive to use the program? Thanks Regards

Dear P3D Community: I´m writing in this forum because I have no other idea anymore how to fix my P3Dv4 and I hope that somebody of you can help me. I`m already despairing:( The problem are as written in the title low FPS. Which does not mean 20-30 FPS, I would be very happy if I would have so many.... . I have on ground between 6 and 12 FPS, in the air up to 25, and I have no idea why. Simulator settings are according Simmershome settings, a few already below. Hello all, I've been using the same 27" monitor for years now having kept it around for FSX, FSX Steam and finally P3D. I'm pretty happy with the performance of my fairly modest generic online-built system but I would like to get a bigger monitor just because I want a bigger picture. Something like a 32". I'm wondering, given the specs below, if a bigger monitor will impede the performance I'm getting now. Nothing fancy, just a bigger screen. I have a question regarding how to enhance the experience of turbulence. With the addition of Real Turbulence software, would it not be some sort of conflict if I run that alongside ezdok v3's turbulence creation algorithms (which actually impacts the aircraft flight path). Both make use of jacking information from AS16. I just do not want to have a messy experience caused by turbulence from several different sources. Now, I understand that MA Real Turb focuses on mechanical/terrain induced turbulence and wind shears, so maybe all three of them (Real Turb, AS16 and ezdok v3) can co-exist? I am on P3D 4.5 (haven't installed hot fix yet) sometimes it actually gets to the load % screen, other times not. Just clocks and then freezez (Not Responding at the top of the window) Any ideas?

I purchased this app to run my FlyQ with Prepar3d. However, the App will not start. I emailed the support listed on the web site but it bounces back permanent error. Anyone have success with this app? I guess I'm out $19.99.

Hi, I have this problem. At Flight Beam forum, they say its a problem with ORBX textures (viaPrepar3d forum). At ORBX forum, it's written that you MUST install ORBX Global base. So I purchased the QW787 a few months ago and have flown it almost constantly since. I highly recommend it. Beautiful plane inside and out. But I have always wanted a 777. (Not willing to pay the PMDG prices, sorry I don't care how good it is) I don't need "study level". So does anyone have the newly refreshed 777 by captain sim? What are your thoughts? Is it comparable in quality to the QW787? Thanks for any input.

Doesn't matter whether I install 2.400.xx or 2.5.00 versions of Garmin trainer, when I select a folder in C\Programs (x86)\Garmin\ .... it always complains about not finding the path. I'v tried multiple installs. I have to abandon it I guess.

Has anyone managed to get this scenery to work without the elevation issues in P3Dv3.4. With the airport not being in the FTX central data base it cannot be resolved in the normal fashion, that being only suggestion from Tropical sim put forward, noticed that removing the AFCAD does make the airport appear nicely, however off the runways and aprons its still sunken,

Hey all! I have a couple questions that have held me way back from getting this aircraft after such a long time waiting to purchase this product. First of all is performance, my PC's specs are CPU- Intel 6700 Core, GPU- GTX 1070, and 16 GB of ram. I am hoping then that after the updates the performance is up to around the same as the PMDG NGX which I get around 25-45 depending on the scenery. Second question is are they planning on implementing PBR such as Leonardo have done to their Maddog X and lastly I love real world routes and fly solely in the U.S. I love the west coast but will also fly east and central, will this be beneficial to my fleet consisting of PMDG 7…

I plan to buy a cheap joystick (probably on ebay) to use as a tiller control with large aircraft. I just need something that has twist for rudder control .... probably won't use any other functions except maybe a few button assignments. Any recommendations? Ken

After doing a complete re-install for 4.3 and not flying for 2 months I thought I would get a flight in with the new FSL319 and log a flight with BA Virtual. So first flight for 2 months and in a new aircraft.... GSX was beeping sound as normal but no green info bar. No BA again sound but no Report showing in what is the normal green bar. So guys what am I missing with 4.3 to lose my green info bar? What setting have I messed up or have I got a bug?

I recently upgraded my pc to a gtx 10603gb and i79700k I previously had a 7700 4ghz I’m now on 4.8ghz and the QW 787 is really bad as how when I takeoff it like clutters lags and also when I’m in the air and it’s at a really small airport also with my previous spec it was a lower spec and the qw 787 performed way better on that spec pls can someone help

I am shopping to invest in a desktop computer suitable for flying with intense addons, such as: orbx (global all the way to regions like Southern California) fsdt, Flight beam, Taxi2Gate, flytampa, etc airports pmdg (all), aerosoft (professional a320), Captain sim 787/757 III, TFDi 717 With addons like these, what pc configurations do you all recommend? (What processer, graphics card, etc) I want at least 30 FPS with considerably high settings.

I have gotten in the habit of deleting my prepar3D.cfg file when I install a new scenery and just let P3d v4 build a new one on the next start up after the scenery installation. Should I also delete all my settings profiles and start completely fresh or can I keep those saved and load them back in. I usually have a couple settings profiles saved for both general aviation flying and for airliner flying. Should I delete all these profiles along with the prepar3D.cfg and start completely fresh or can I keep those settings? Does it make any difference? Thanks!

Saw this on their FB page as they are soon releasing the XP11 version. Turns out they were part of the T2G team who developed it for FSX, didn't know that! 😁 We have been getting some great central & south American hubs in the last year - Cancun, Panama, Santiago, Quito and soon also Bogota by PKSIM! Great for the QW 787 LAN routes. They also have MROC in the oven. Shom

Hi Mates, I'm trying to install the SF-260 into P3Dv4.4. My installer is: RASSF26007_X07_Install.exe I have a working internet connection but the installer says "cannot connect to the internet". Maybe that means that it cannot connect anymore to the RealAir.com server? And maybe that is why Sean says "Installers for the Scout and SF260 will be available shortly" http://realairsimulations.net/ On the other hand, I know that some mates have successfully installed the original FSX version into P3Dv4?
