Hello! My simulator was working perfectly in the past years, high settings, high FPS... Over the last few feeks I was getting more and more problems. I started getting more and more DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG errors (usually with FSLabs and sometimes with other addons) and more CTDs. It is interesting that P3D (v4.5 Hotfix 1) runs very smooth when this happens. There is no indication that something is wrong or GPU is overloaded. GPU has temperature range about 55-65 (celsius) all the time and I have never overclocked it because it is factory overclocked. Aerosoft CRJ has been always the most stable addon to fly and I haven't had any crashes for a year with it.…

I have both running on my system and notice that I get some stutters when landing on the 28's/27's during the day right around 1000ft. Night time landings and day landings east seem fine. Anyone else notice this and have an idea of what could cause this? I run Tomato Shade, FSlabs, Active Sky, Orbx NA. From time to time I notice that i'll do a flight and upon takeoff from a FB airport or on landing, the terminal buildings will be missing and there will be no taxiway or runway lights. The scenery is there and the gates/jetways are there, but no buildings. What would be the cause for this and how would I fix it. This has happened at SFO and PHX. Thanks!

All of a sudden, my Fly Tampa Las Vegas started showing large barricades throughout the airport and NOTHING I could do was able to correct the problem. Here's what I tried: Ran configuration elevation program in FTX Central Diabled KLAS in FTX Central elevation Tried to eliminate this scenery in my Scenery Library in P3d, but it was greyed out and couldn't be removed. Checked my Latin VFR folder in P3d and it isn't there. Tried to uninstall the scenery but I can't find a way to do that. It isn't in my control panel list for removal. Please tell me how I can remove this scenery so that I can try to reinstall it, OR help me to correct this…

Not sure if this is a P3D, Orbx or UK2000 problem. Have just re-installed my UK2000 airports after upgrading to P3Dv4.5, over FTX England and UK2000 airfields V3 (EGGP and EGCC unticked). When approaching either Rwy 09 or 27 at about 2.5 NM out, the sim freezes visually for around 10 seconds (engine sound continues). then abruptly P3D crashes. Tried in 2 different aircraft, same problem. When landing at nearby Manchester Xtreme, no problem. If I go into the Scenery library and untick Liverpool Xtreme, I can land at Liverpool with no problem, thus I am concluding the airport is the problem, rather than the sim or Orbx. Thanks for any suggestions offered.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing an airspeed/autopilot bug with the new virtualcol A220 in P3D? If I don't use the AP, it's a fairly normal flight model with normal stall speeds and power/throttle settings. For example, I can easily maintain level flight/altitude at 130kts at FL020 with flaps 3 and gear down. However, there appear to be random scenarios where the flight characteristics change drastically, including extreme airspeed fluctuations, stall speed randomly increasing to over 200kts and/or suddenly requiring 75% or more power even with full flaps just to maintain level flight, all at low altitude. I hope someone here can help me out, I am one of the unfortunate ones that missed the license transfer deadline from flightsim store to simmarket. Now I want to reinstall my downloaded files but I will not pay again for something I do not have. If anyone here can send me their scenery.cfg file so I can point my scenery to me already extracted files it would be very helpful, or even better if anyone has faced this problem before and would like to help out. MilViz support is so good I didn't actually need to finish requesting support before finding my problem. My Pilatus Porter PC-6 was causing a crash to desktop whenever I tried to load any version of the plane. Every other aircraft (including 2 other MilViz) worked. I went to milviz.com, clicked on support, selected my aircraft, OS and sim platform then the next step shows the system requirements where I found I was behind a bit on updating P3D (I was on P3D 4.5.11.29713, Milviz showed P3D 4.5.12.30293). I got out of there, updated the P3D client, and viola! Everything works.

Hi all- I'm testing AI Live Traffic and it requires that I check the UTC box in P3D. The problem is that it won't stick; it goes back to local time after starting the scenario. Is this a bug? Thanks, Mark

Hi to anyone who can help, i recently installed FLAI and vpilot to play online vatsim. However i have two problems. One being that the AI traffic looks low quality compared to other pictures and videos , and also the strobe lights look like huge balls of fire on each wing. Will it help on the VAS if I deactivate sceneries in the scenery library in P3D? If I want to take a flight from say Amsterdam to Copenhagen, will it save some VAS to deactivate sceneries outside this route? And are there any programs out there, where you can plan a route from A to B, and it automatically disables sceneries (and ai) outside a certain "bubble"? Jlund

There is a bug in the 757 v1.3 regarding the speedtape displayed on the ADI. It concerns the yellow/amber tape band which represents the different maneuvering speeds in many different situations. The top of the yellow band represents the MINIMUM flap maneuvering speed but CS are using the NORMAL flap man. speed. There is a big difference between the two speeds. I have been communicating with 757 pilots on PPRUNE forums. The difference can be between 1.6g and 1.8g to allow for a safety margin. Example: The CS 757 with a takeoff weight of 220 000lb has a normal flap up maneuvering speed of Vref30+80. The Vref speed for 220 000 lb is 140KIAS, there Vref30+80 is 2…

I am trying to fly to Trident Basis Seaplane Base (T44). In P3D flght planner, T44 shows on the map but when I actually fly to it I am still over land even tho the flight planner map shows that I am at the right location. I am using the default GPS in the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended aircraft. I get the same result using FS-Flightcontrol. If I set P3D to start the flight at T44, the aircraft is on the ground surrounded by buildings and trees. Can anyone suggest a fix for this, or is there another way to have the aircraft location actually match up with the location shown on the flght plan map? Thanks for any suggestions. Martin Cook

I have just updated my WIn10 with 1903 plus supplementary updates. I started P3DV4 and it hung whilst loading my last saved flight at 6% during "Load textures" phase. Can anybody suggest what my problem may be and how I could make this nasty go away? Worked just fine until this MS update was installed. I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Just downloaded the v4.5 Client. As the Hotfix was released in May of this year, am I correct in assuming that the latest v4,5 client downlink includes the hotfix?

Hi Mates, A long time ago I used to fly a couple of ARC DME with the RealAir SF-260 that was equipped with an RMI. It was kind of 'easy': I kept the RMI 90° left or right of the heading of the aircraft and corrected by maintaining a constant distance to the VOR indicated by the DME. Today, I'd like to fly again some ARC DME and I watched some YT videos, for me it's more complicated if the aircraft is only equipped with a VOR receiver. You are obliged to reset regularly the OBS and it's not convenient on a PC with mouse and keyboard. Having finally gotten around to getting the above, I find myself stuck at the install stage! I've basically just installed and run P3D 4.5 as a full install onto a clean drive, rebooted and it all works fine. I've now tried to install the Maddog X 3 times, including turning off Defender and UAC and redownloading too. On every occasion, the installer appears to run OK and is followed by the install of TrueGlass and RealLight, but never by the next step, which is to point to the P3D.exe. As a result, the Loadmanager will not start and that means I can't register the product, nor gain access to the support forums. I've been around for quite a while now, …
