what sky textures do people use i cant find any i like

Hi! A few days ago I began to notice that in some scenarios of different development groups, the buildings were no longer appearing and only the black floor remained. I have reinstalled p3d but it did not work. I think it may be some problem in SCENERY.CFG. Thank you for your help! P.S.: Some images on the links below. Hello! I have a question: I’m trying tu use AFM2 to fix slopes around airports in Fs Global Ultimate. Everything is ok except ponds and water bodies around the airports: these areas remain at different height. How to fix it? Thank you.

Hi Mates, I got a Navigraph subscription and I use the Web App (because I got a javascript error with the Desktop App). I've tried several major airports but cannot get to find the Lufthansa LIDO enroute/SID/STAR charts. Maybe LIDO charts are not available everywhere? Or obviously I am missing something.

I did a fresh install of Prepar3D v3.4 on my computer, but i'm having problems. By default, the Prepar3D v3 is set on near max graphic settings and seems impossible to reach the graphic setting menu without starting a flight. My computer is not very good and eventually can't handle the max graphic setting. When I start a flight, after loading, my Prepar3D crashes every time, so I can't reach the settings menu. Is possible to set the graphics setting to the lowest possible without starting a filght? Maybe editing the Prepar3D.cfg or using Graphics Profile on Scenario Setup? Eduardo Holanda

Well, this isn't working out too good! So this afternoon, installed KMIA udpate, took a flight in 4.4, and everything looked great, except, I was getting a "critical error" with ActiveSky. Tried doing an update with no luck. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling with no luck. So I thought I would uninstall and then do the 4.5 update and now, P3d will not start, and I still have the problem with ActiveSky. I recently had installed ORBX base, vector and NA LC, so I went through the process of making sure that was all up to date, still with no luck. Any ideas short of a fresh install, which I am dreading. Thanks!

All things equal on a decent machine, which of these two P3D settings profile do you think would be more taxing on a system? I know that every system is different so it is tough to answer but wanted some feedback as to what you all think considering each of these are slightly different and have higher settings in some areas and lower in others. It doesn’t matter if all sliders are set to the left and Locked framerate at 10 , core 0 ( main thread ) has 100% load. Using Unlimited shows a 92% load with very high settings and 95+ fos, while with Vsync on ( 25 hertz / 2 4K displays in NVSurround with Distortion correction ) load drops to 67%. As Uimited + Vsync still show some jumping up fps ( 50/100/ back to 25 ) , in V4.4 I also used Locked at 30 to avoid that. When doing that with V4.5 because of the Locked framerate too there is this 100% load . Therefore I started to test with my 2 pc’s and found out that with Locked framerate , regardless of the settings , the main core shows a load of 10…

Good news!. Carenado has just announced its ATR42-500 project, for FSX and P3D. Look at the Carenado Channel in YouTube. So, it´ll probably beat Milviz by getting first to the market with the ATR. Cheers, Ed

The Henrik Nielsen ship package for P3D and FSX has a few FS9 models in it. If you remove the following models it should work in P3D V4 without potential crashes due to the presence of the older incompatible models: AI_AC_Sailboat AI_John_T_Essberger AI_La_Recouvrance AI_Calypso I recommend using the P3D method of installing in external folders as detailed in their Learning Center and SDK manuals.

I've installed ThaiCreations VABB in Prepar3D v4.5 without an issue. The URL link pic shows the ILS 09 approach at minimums. My question is, what is in the foreground? Hey all, Lately been having some issues with tree autogen... or at least, that's what I think. Because I simply can't remember how it used to be like. It seems to me that there's a couple of landclass tiles that are missing their tree autogen. Buildings are fine. See the attached images. I use FTX Global, which changes the default LC textures. So, I verified the fils to make sure it's all okay. That didn't solve the issue, so I reinstalled it. That didn't sovle it, so I tried reinstalling the content component of P3D so as to refresh the autogen files. This also didn't work. At last I have no idea where else to go. Hi Mates, I need an airport at Milano where I can take off from or land to with my 777. I am hesitating between Malpensa (Aerosoft) and Linate (JetStream Design). I don't care about PBR, lighting and alike, I just need good textures and design. Linate is apparently smaller than Malpensa but better done?

Hey! I am having a problem with Prepar3D v4.2, but also on lower V4 versions.. Looks like FSDT has pushed out the updated GSX with PBR. No info has been provided on exactly what has been done but reports are its a large download. Lets hope it also contains the fixes they mentioned prior to the release. I wonder how GSX PBR will effect performance. I'm always leery when it comes to FSDT updates. Lately something will break and than it will finally get fixed after numerous heated back-and-fourth sessions with the developer. I will wait this one out based on past track records with GSX.

Good day to you all, I've a new issue. This time with GSX, after updating from P3Dv4.3 to P3Dv4.4 I got a issue with GSX, all textures are transparant and u can not see anything else. No SODE bridge, no pushback or load stuff. The only thing you see is a person standing there by the aircraft. Very strange, after doing the GSX 2.6 update, this happend. I have a screenshot so you guys can check maybe you know what is happening. I tried several times to delete the Shaders folder, that did not the trick. Hello, I'd like to add a Russian aircraft to my virtual hangar (well, hope I did not insult Ukrainian friends around here - AN-2 is from Ukraine :) ). Since I do most of my flights low and slow over ORBX regions of Alaska, AN-2 is a very good candidate. However I found there are two versions of it, one from Aerosoft and one from AT Simualtions. How do they compare, please? I was not able to find a decent comparison. Thanks! M

Hello everyone! After clean installation of sim and addons, I noticed that there was no cloud at all. The problem is very likely to be caused by improper configs of ENVTEX and ASCA. Hello all, I'm using Prepar3d V4.4 I have been trying to work out for a couple of days why I'm not getting a good steady FPS. With Cardiff (EGFF) being my home airport I have been tweaking and testing there but I am finding that when I sit on the end of Rwy 30 and I am getting between 30-45 outside the aircraft but once into the cockpit I am down to less than 20 FPS but I am unsure how this can be. I have tried to look to see if anybody had any similar problems and I couldn't find anything that was what I am experiencing. but when I am in the default F22 I am getting 30 or above in the cockpit and on the outside it can get anywhere from 35 - 60 at a push sometim…
