Hi, I want to upgrade my 26" HD monitor to a 4k monitor and was wondering whether it is worth spending an extra £200-£300 on a g-sync enabled monitor or will I not see much benefit to justify such an increase in cost? My PC spec is : Intel i7 Coffee Lake 8700K 3.7Ghz Asus PRIME-P Z370 – Motherboard 32Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400 Mhz Memory Western Digital 1TB M2 NAND Solid State Drive NVidia GTX 1080Ti Many thanks

I was asking myself if it is "state of the art" that a company like LM is only acting behind "closed doors" and why wouldn´t they intereact more with the community like others do (like X PLane and Microsoft par example)? So not just handling issues on their forum....but give us more perspectives. Of course I know they are a lttle different and we are not their only customers. But shouldn´t it be better for both if they interact more with us to develop the P3D simulator? Are we maybe not that "important" and really such a small "group" of users that they don´t need this interaction? At this momnent I would really like to know which plans they have to enhance thei…

It doesn't really bother me, but it is an irritation that I could do without. Trouble is, I don't know which program is the culprit. Scenario. Running P3D 4.5HF2, PMDG QOTSII. FS2Crew (button version) and GSX2. All on a Virtual Airline with its own Acars version. All goes well until the last 5 minutes before push-back. I shut doors where there are stairs. The parking brakes remain set until FS2Crew automatically closes the last door at 2 minutes to go. Then I see on Acars that the brakes have been released and GSX tells me to set them immediately as well. But in the plane, the brakes are still set. I am using Rex Environment Force with no Tomato shade. The clouds seem too bright to me while flying. Is this the HDR lighting use of P3D? Do I need to delete my shaders? Thanks!

Hi guys and gals, I need your help in understanding how AIG Traffic density works with P3Dv4 Traffic Settings (along with FSUIPC5 Traffic Limiter - if needed) -- the reason I ask is I am try to free some performance with my recent purchase of FSLabs A320. I have zero time to sit and manually configure AIG schedules - I just want to figure out what density settings to use, and then what sliders in P3Dv4 and if need be what traffic limiter in FSUIPC5 - that is it. Hi, I have a question regarding the A2A Cessna 172 start up procedure.I always fail to start the engine during my first attempt. What am I doing wrong? I set the fuel tank selector to both. I push the fuel cut off in. Then I set the throttle to 25% in. I push the mixture to 100% in and switch the fuel pump to on. After 4-6 seconds I pull the mixture to 0% and switch the fuel pump off. Then I switch the Magneto to start. The propeller starts to swing but immediately stops. If I repeat these steps a second time it works?! Thanks! Best regards Andreas

I have the latest version of Tomato Shade installed. I did a flight yesterday to KLAX, where the ground textures were very strange - they looked almost like silver paint all over the ground. Went to the FSDT forum and noticed another post about the same issue. The response was the Tomato Shade made be modifying shaders the ground textures use and giving it this strange look. Anyone else experience this and was able to fix? What's the solution? Appreciate the help. thanks

Has anyone succeeded with an xml installation of an aircraft from Flight1 in P3D v4.5 HF2. It seems like their licensing system is messing with it. I try with their DC-9 and I get the error message that there is no license file. The license file is in the Flight1 folder in C:. /Thomas

Hello all I've been investigating ways of reducing the CPU 0 usage on my o/c i7 6770K as it was almost always sitting at around 98-100% (P4.5 HF2). During the process, I've just noticed that, whilst P3D is still running (full screen), if I switch to Task Manager, select P3D, untick <all Processors> and just tick CPU 0, then immediately swap back to ticking <all Processors>, when I return to P3D, my CPU 0 usage has dropped way down to between 40 and 50%, and there it stays, give or take a few percentages. I've tried the 'placebo' effect of this by just opening and closing Task Manager, but it's definitely the toggling of the AF that makes it occur. …

Hi I am using right now, a I7 K 6700 4Ghz, 16 GB RAM and a 2080 graphic card (the Graphic card was an update from last year) original was it a 970.and 2 SSDs I have an 43 Zoll LG 4K Monitor and I love to see the sharp cockpits inside the planes in 4K. I locked the frame rate to 30 fps in the Nvidia inspector Normally are the framrates at 29-30 fps , but sometimes the frame rate drops below 20 fps, specially with the NGXu stands on high detailed airports (Flightbeam etc). I must have clicked something. When I choose an external view - spot etc, or cycle through using 'S' I cannot see my aircraft, just the ground where they are parked. Same with native and add-on aircraft. The virtual cockpit works fine in 2d and VR. Windows 10, P3d Pro 4.5
