If using project magenta’s MCP is it possible to use auto throttle if you don’t have the hardware?

Hi guys, I bought the Carenado Archer yesterday for P3D because it's as close as I'm going to get to my '73 Challenger apparently (which is a 180 with the Hershey bar wing and the updated panel, but with the ASI in MPH and not knots). Is it possible to change the ASI to one with MPH instead? if I find a suitable gauge, how do I swap them out? Thanks!

Hey everyone. Wanted some opinions here, as I’m admittedly not anywhere near an expert on computers. I fly Prepard3d v4. I use a significant amount of Orbx products. ActiveSky. Add on-airports, etc. I also fly a lot of events on vatsim. I’m running an older Asus computer. Figured I could make significant upgrades for under what a new computer would cost. Bought an i9-990k cpu. RTX 2080 super graphics card. 32GB RAM. While trying to install I was told I’d need a new motherboard and cooling system. However, the size of the computer would prevent us from installing the proper cooling system for the i9. The max cpu I can have is the I-7 6700K. If I pair that with …

As long as there is a cloud below the peak, there will be abrupt textures, which can be seen far away from the clouds and will not be blocked. Hi All, I hope you are well and having a good year. I'm writing with regard to some P3Dv4 airports. It's come to my realisation that P3D is really lacking in some airports especially in the Caribbean area as well as the Middle East region. A few airports I would really like to see be developed are Trinidad: TTCP for P3Dv4, TGPY, OLBA (Beirut), Muscat (MCT OOMS). Those airports in particular would be much appreciated. Should I remove P3dv4.5 from its dedicated drive? Will Win10 upgrade process give options? Presently have Windows on C:\ , P3d on D:\ and some software also on E:\. Delete everything? or.... Win10 retail Home edition arrived this morning but am in no rush to proceed. I haven't seen a tutorial on this but will check some more. Really hard to see Win7 go. Hi Recently i randomly started getting a problem in my sim (prepar3d v 4.5.12) where my loading screen would get stuck on up to two hours on Loading autogen scenery. I've tried many things to fix this already and i found that after deleting the shaders HLSL folder inside the main p3d directory and reinstalling the p3d client, my loading times would go back down to about 3-10 mins most. But as soon as i reinstalled tomato shade it went back to about two hours. I have never had this before and it just randomly started happening last week inside my sim. I have no idea of any fix that i could use that wouldn't require me not to use tomato shade or other shading programs…

Both happened after long flights on final decent. Sim paused for maybe 30 seconds with blue circle cursor and Not Responding, then crashed to desktop. Notable and only change in system recently was update of Windows to 1909 from 1903. On 1903 P3D was rock solid for months. Anyone else?

Hello, I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to post this issue on the forum. I have the Just Flight DC-10 HD for 64bit version installed in P3D v4.5. I recently purchased Ernie Alston's ISG set of gauges from Simmarket to use with the DC-10. There are no solid instructions on how to install the gauges into the aircraft. I've signed up for an account on their forum, but haven't been given administrator approval for my account to be active. I was going to post this on their forum. That was a week ago, and nothing. Dear: As I installed aero.sors world navaids for my p3d v4.5, the default GPS's and Vertx DA62, which use default p3d v4 stock waypoints/intersections, can not be used. The DA62 is a quite costly payware and very realistic. If I uninstall aero.sors navaids then DA62 and default gps's become ok, but the p3d navaids revert to old stock and do not match Navigraph fmc database that most of my addon airplanes use. In youtube video, Rudi of vertxsim suggested to use fsaerodata. Fsaerodata depends only on Paypal for payment and Paypal does not include Bangladesh in the country list. So, I can't buy it from Bangladesh. Now if I stay with p3d default navaids, they don't match …

Hi, I know this topic has been brought up many times but I am wondering if there is anything new out there which I am missing. I am looking for a good flight planner which exports the flight plans directly into the fmc (via co routes etc). I tried littlenavmap, simbrief and pfpx (1&2) but they are not complete. Currently I run a Dell 3415W monitor at 3440x1040 resolution on the display settings. Currently within the sim, I am running the following: FXAA off, 4xMSAA, AF 4x, Texture Res 2048x2048 and Resolution 1920x1080x32, Vsync off and Unlimited Frames with wide aspect on. My GPU is 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. Right now, I found that this combo gives me good performance, but visually it is not good at all. I get great visuals in the sim if I run the in sim resolution at 3440x1440x32 but the performance is hit or miss. I am by no means technical but was hoping someone could give me some direction as to what combination of in sim settings and resolution setting…

Hey, thats my situation: -I want a high quality narrowbody Aircraft for p3d AND the announced MSFS from FSLabs or pmdg. -I don't want to pay now 130€(140USD) for the p3d a320 and then again 115€ for the MSFS version, the 737 offer is perfect for my situation(im waiting on a fslabs offer for msfs) -i want to Fly next to america also in Europa, (LHR, FRA, LIS, BCN). Hello you all, I've bought the PMDG 737NGXu and I got performance issues as well. Same things going on. But I've question regarding the performance calculator on the EFB for Take off and Landing. It seems that there is no EHAM in the EFB. I have the PMDG 747-8i (F) and there I got the EHAM section. If I tried to search for EHAM, it finds it, but when I click on the Airport which is found by the EFB it says left on top: fault. When you check at the maintenance part of the EFB it says: OPT EHAM DATABASE NOT FOUND, or something similar to the message. Any other airport works, but only this major airport for some reason maybe only me(?), it doesn't work. So my question …

Hi Folks, I have DD's New York Area Airports - which I bought specifically to get (KTEB) Teterboro... I have the ImagineSim KLGA and I prefer that to DD's version... I went through the DD scenery file and deleted all the BGL's that were labeled other than KTEB and 99% of DD KLGA vanished as expected - however - all the jetways remain conflicting with IS KLGA... OK - so now I disabled the entire DD New York Area Airports and still the stubborn jetways remain... Are they SODE or something special ??? Would anyone know how I can go about removing them ??? Hello all, I have had an interesting problem with P3d v4.5. I don't clarify if its been with HF1 or HF2 applied because its been happening for quite some time and neither of those hot fixes where out when the problem started. Anyways, this happens with any PMDG, FSLABS and really any other payware airplane that utilizes pop up 2d panels. Here is the issue... When i click on the FMS or use any of the SHIFT+ "n" commands, the panels wont pop out or pop up..whatever term you want to use. I will see the individual screen on the actual VC modeled panel flicker but no 2d panel. Sometimes, when I try to bring up the 2d panel, it causes my mouse…

Hi, I did a clean reinstall of the PMDG 737 NGXu and 747-400 over the new OPS Center 2 lately. Since then the engines and wing slats of the 737 and 747 have this black color. I suppose this is a problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using the PTA 2.66 with Matt Davies Dec18.ini. Thanks! Best regards Andreas
