Hello, Can someone confirm that the PTA website Simtweaks.com is offline? I would like to use the PTA, but the activation is just failed and I can not go to my account on Simtweaks.com due to no response. I just updated from P3D v4.4 to v4.5.. when opening PTA it says: shaders are not original. I know you have to delete from the root folder (p3d) the map ShadersHSL and do a repair of the client. But that doesn't do the trick. Same messages. I don't know how to do it further.. Hey Guys. Tried a pushback the other night in the A330 and tonight the MD-88. At first I thought it was a new airplane issue with the A330. I call for pushback. Everything goes as normal. Pin inserted. Calls for release parking brakes. I do and nothing happens. I try to set them again and then release. But nothing happens. anybody else?

I'm tired of using scenery config editor to open preferred scenery.cfg & enabling & disabling simobjects and add-on xml method airports just to save some loading time and reduce micro pauses. I think that SimStarter is the answer to my prayers. Is the latest version P3D v4.5 HF2 ready? I know many AVSIM simmers use it, please give me your mini review and how you utilize the utility? Hello, for some time now I've had an issue that when sounds are actively being played by P3D, the sounds of external programs (ie GSX, Pilot Edge Client, PRO-ATC X, RC4) that play within P3D are muted. If I used the Q key to mute the P3D sounds, the sounds in the external programs play loud and clear. Every once and a while the sounds will play clearly when P3D is operating normally, but I'm not sure what P3D may be doing differently in that circumstance. Hi guys. Im in the market for a new joystick. I have the VirtualFly Yoko for my yoke type aircraft like the A2A stuff (Cessna 172 and Piper etc) but now I am looking to expand my hardware for the lovely Realair Legacy. So who better to ask then my friends here. Any recommendations? Quality is important and since I care 0% about military aircraft and flying it does not hurt if it looks less like something from a fighter aircraft with millions of buttons in different colors, shooting triggers and what have you, and more like something you would find in a GA type aircraft. I own FSDT KLAS, KLAX, KPSP, and Orbx/FTX SoCal/NoCal. For a long time I have stayed away from reinstalling SoCal/NoCal as it was not compatible with FSDT KLAS without some manual modifications. There were some issues in and around KLAX too. Making these modifications was a pain and I could not understand why the developers of FTX/Orbx SoCal could not make their scenery compatible with the popular FSDT/FlightBeam airports. The airports worked with MSE SoCal/NoCal and that's what I was using. Hello, How can edit a tacan into a vor ? p3d mil planes can't simulate true tacan ie they only get DME info on a tacan beacon. I think ADE should be able to do the job but have no clue how to use it. For example , I'd like to convert orange in south of France. Thanks a lot

All, I had recently updated to from P3DV4.4 to 4.5 and have reinstalled fslabs to the lates version. I don’t have rudder pedals or twist axis joystick and the auto rider function in P3Dv4 isn’t letting me turn the aircraft on the ground like before in 4.4. The ailerons work fine in the air. Just can’t steer the nose wheel on the ground anymore. Any ideas? Thanks

I just moved from FSX to P3D - no idea what "hotfixes"are. Are these to be installed in addition to the latest installer I downloaded just last week?

Hi Folks Wondering if anyone else has a problem with flickering jetway signs. For example Southwest, or United, or other carrier sign on the jetway. Makes for a not too pleasant arrival, being unrealistic. Running P3Dv4.5 - is there an adjustment that will fix this? Thanks for any suggestions!

If anybody does buy this, please leave a post to give your impressions? I might want to pick this up some day.

I installed yesterday both V2 versions for the Duke piston and Turbine. Before this update I was running the piston version without problems. But when tried to install the turbine there was a message that I did not have an internet connection which was not true. After some internet check I came across the V2 versions updates and reinstalled both. They look beautiful but there is a problem in both of them: cannot activate the mouse click and point so there is no way to operate the planes. I reinstalled with the same result. Any hint to fix this? I would hate to give away with this 2 planes by far the best ever for me in FSX. Thanks in advance

Hi all, I recently re-installed P3D V4.5 to my C Drive. I have been unable to get past the loading screen as I am prompted at about 80% with an error message that says "XML CFG NOT FOUND - C:/ProgramFiles/LockheedMartin/P3DV4/ORBX/FTXAU/FTXAA_ORBXLIBS/Scenery/OF_Config.xml. I have navigated to the root folder of P3D and the specified error directory doesnt exist. I dont have ORBX installed into the sim either. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Guys. I just downloaded imaginesim KATL and it's a stunning scenery. There is just one problem. The Jetway's are doubled with SODE and a static Jetway. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? What are the steps I need to do to fix this. I want this scenery to look amazing as I fly In and out of ATL.

Hello, i have the problem, that the "Raw Input"-Mode for my controls is not working correctly. When i switch to that mode, for example the Hat-Switch on my Joystick is just working in one direction. When switching back to "Direct Input" everything is working fine. As it is discussed in other Threads as well, it seems that it has to do somethinh with the installation of A2A-Addons, so i uninstalled theese to test it but that made no difference. I don't have set an A2A aircraft as a default plane, what seems causing this problem for some people. Dear All, A have a customer @AnkH which is unable to launch AI Lights Reborn Professional auto updates. Initially we thought it was because AVIRA antivirus was blocking these, however after removing AVIRA the problem persists. I contacted the software vendor I am using for my installers and they pointed out their auto updater is digitally signed already and therefore they believe something else is blocking the process. I have been communicating with the user backs and fort, but we are still unable to resolve it. No matter what we do, we always get the same error which is security is preventing the update. Hi, So I fired up my pc last night and started up ASP4 I got the ASCONNECT error Which did resolve by a reinstall. But the problem is now ,for example I loaded up EDDF and weather was set to live It was scattered showers Thou it was raining but there were no clouds I do have active sky also. And envtex and env shade Do I need to reinstall asca also??? I’ve cleared shaders etc etc to no avail. Was working well a few nights ago. I think it may due to a windows update?? So I’ve read. Hey folks. Trying to see if I have my installation messed up here nor not. I picked up Orbx True Earth NA Cali and was flying around the Napa & Sonoma area. While looking down at the scenery I noticed it seemed there were some like city/neighborhood like textures that kind of abruptly ended to farms/wineries. Almost as if the orbx stuff was merged with some stock textures somehow. Has anyone noticed anything like this or do I have my install messed up somehow? I basically just fired up FTX and let it do its thing so not sure what could have gone wrong. I can post some screen shots later on when I get in if needed.

I have forgotten how I make p3d start my airplane with no cockpit or panels. I only want an outside view when a plane is selected. I know I can save a default flight, but when I switch planes the darn virtual cockpit comes back. I have separate instruments and controls on my tablet screens, so do not use the cockpit panels for anything, and deselecting cockpit every time gets tiresome. I know I did it in the past, but my old brain cannot recall how to do it now. -stampee

On the control panel list of installed apps I see p3d v4 client, content and scenery, but there's another installation which doesn't have a name besides p3d v4 professional. Can I uninstall and update this one? I've got p3d v4.5 client, content and scenery, but the other one is v4.3. I started with the original v4 so this one got updated somehow, but I don't remember how.

Just a heads up if you use fsAerodata. I noticed an elevation issue at Orbx PAVD this past Saturday and couldn't solve until I dumped the scenery.cfg file and it was fine after regenerating the Orbx entries but not the fsAerodata scenery entries.
