Hello All I installed the GMMN stage from prealsoft and I crash on landing for no reason. Having ORBX how do we exclude the file that creates this crash? Thanks all.

After uninstalling a light mod add-on due to framerate problems, this issue started to occur; I'm assuming it left some files during the uninstallation process. Basically the further the lights are away, the bigger and brighter they are. Any recommendations on how to bring original P3D street lights back? I've deleted the p3d config file and attempted to reinstall the latest P3D contents package, no dice.

P3D likes to disable add-ons without my knowledge. And it seems to like disabling certain add-ons, in my case it's ORBX Objectflow and FlightBeam's SEQM. I can re-enable them in the add-ons list, but eventually P3D will turn them off again. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Good evening, I know it sounds like a stupid question, but as of today, is there any reason for me not to upgrade from 4.4 to 4.5, knowing all the addons I have, from all PMDG to Maddog and FSLABS an QW 787 with out speaking of weather engines and sceneries. The reason I ask the question is because 4.4 is running like a charm for me, and I usually do not repair what aint broken... That said I was intending to upgrade only the client and content, second I am reading far more problem with 4.5 than 4.4. Maybe it is just me... Thanks for your input. Cyrille

Hey all, I recently saw that Aerosoft released Austria HD Professional, which appears to be a OrbX True Earth-esque product, with photoreal scenery plus autogen and POIs. Screenshots look gorgeous, and I'm quite tempted to get it. I was wondering if any of you have it, or older versions of it, and what you think? Is it worthwhile? Specifically, I'd be interested in getting the East + West bundle, which gives you a 25% discount. Any opinions are appreciated!

I am awaiting acceptance into the A2A forum (supposed to send me an email verification) and I've read over 12 pages in their forum to try to find an answer. I bought the A2A 172 yesterday after reading about its update on this forum. Using the default GPS 400, I cannot get the plane to follow the GPS route. I know how to use this GPS because it's available for many planes. I have checked all configurations, and I'm sure it's all correct. My autopilot works well for altitude, vertical speed, etc. I have NAV checked and the GPS mode is on. However, the plane will not follow the GPS route. Installed P3D v4.5.13 & reinstalled Envdir/Envtex/Envshade & I now get a message suggesting its not compatible with P3D v4.5.13. & Shaders won't be installed. Envdir loads but I get only 1 set of the various visual options ilo of choices. Have I installed the Toga products incorrectly or is the error message correct? Thanks T45

Hey guys, These days I do not know what is happening on Orbx. I just do not hear from the developers that much; I miss reading their interaction. I am not saying they are not responding; they are but something is different and I can not put my finger on it. I hope they are working on Vector 2 product or something. I am truly hoping that is the case but as of right now Vector is not going to be improved further or developed. So, I've had issues with my autogen lately. I use ORBX Global and the latest version of P3D (V4.5). Previously, autogen across the globe on the simulator was missing. I then uninstalled and reinstalled P3D's Content, which made my autogen appear once again in North America, South America, and even Asia. However, nothing at all in Europe. Hi guys, Have been using p3d for quite a while in vr mode. Recently I re-installed everything again and bought a rift S. Things were OK but now p3d just suddenly closes when I enable vr oculus mode. No crash or error, it just closes itself. Where can I find a log file and see what's happening?? I deleted the p3dv4 folders in appdata and local I believe and let p3d build theses folders again. Vr worked for half an hour but after restarting my computer it is the same crash again. I have orbx global and some area's installed but I used them in my previous installation without problems. Hi: Due to a possible data corruption, I'm considering re-installing the Scenery component of P3Dv4.5(hf2). I've never done this before, as all the updates I've made so far had been on the Client and/or the Content components only. Does anyone has previous experience on doing this?. Some questions: 1. Which would be the addon scenery that would be affected during the re-installation process, if any?. 2. The elevation data for 3rd. party airports normally located in the <P3D main folder>\Scenery\World\Scenery folder would be deleted during the re-installation?. 2. Morning all, I'm about to start a new PC build for P3D v4 and I'm trying to figure the best method to remove and reinstall P3Dv4. The new machine will have a brand new SSD drive on which i will install Windows 10 64 Bit Pro, I will also move the SSD which has my current P3Dv4 installation on it to the new machine. Should I perform an uninstall from my current Windows 7 machine before moving the SSD to the new machine? Or should I just put the SSD with P3Dv4 in the new machine, and then do an install/repair of P3D on top of the existing folder? Or as a third and most painful option should i do a fresh install to the P3D drive (ie. create a different folder path) an…

Hey guys I have an i9 9900k turbo enabled ht off not overclocked yet. 32 ram 3600mhz 1080ti msi lightning z gigabyte aorus master running all cores for everything asp4 Asca P3d etc etc 60hz 4k 55 inch 30.5 FPS locked in Nvidia inspector and prefer max performance in ncp which seems to run quite smooth except from slight stutter here and there. any benefits from going into affinity mask and moving addons off a particular core? which ones would that be? 0, 1 ??? being the first Core and have them run only 2 to 8? I get lost with this algorithm in other topics. its got to be in simplistic…

I downloaded a couple of profiles for Trackir 5 to use with P3Dv4.5 and saved them to my NaturalPoint/Trackir5/profiles directory but when I click on the Profiles button in Trackir5 to change to a different profile these don't show up. The only choices I have are the ones that come with the Trackir. What am I doing wrong? The profiles I downloaded are the ones from Seth Flight and Stephen 1.

Hi. I am glad that Greek holiday destinations are getting a lot of attention recently. I really like Crete and would like to have a Heraklion scenery. JustSim released a scenery a few months ago, but this is just for the airport, and like many JustSim products may not be as good a quality as sceneries from other developers. FSDG however released what seems to be a better product in 2015 as this also includes the surrounding city scenery. But of course this is 4 years old and doesn't include the latest scenery features such as PBR. And then I read a few weeks ago that Flytampa released a Heraklion scenery for X-Plane 11. If I want to control this without a joystick, which parameters will correspond in the section: Key press & release? For pmdg i found only rudder pedals left and right, only it works... How to switch the steering wheel control and elevator trim using the keyboard? without a joystick,just a keystroke left or right for nosewheel steering and up or down for elevator trim...

Does anyone have a solution for this When I move a undocked gauge from my main monitor to a second monitor the gauge constantly flickers any ideas? I have frame rates at 50 , sync on and triple buffering on I have 2 1080ti Please assist Peter
