Hi, Since last night, after the uptade to 4.2 ( Client, Content and scenery) I have strange night texture while flying during the day. I never noticed that in P3DV4.1. I tried to delete P3D.cfg, scenery.cfg and didn't work. Hi, Dispite all posts, i do not get a good way to test FPS; i push shft Z and get the red values, but these values are always flickering between 14 and 38, even with FSL airbus at runway and doing nothing. Found some post about the use of average values and not these real time values, but how to display average ?

I have just noticed that Qualitywings with their 787 seem to have 'cracked' some of the issues with instant replay. Whenever i uses instant replay with my PMDG and FSLabs planes, the spoilers are deployed and the engines are in reverse thrust position, as the plane glides into land - not so with Qualitywings - the 787 is configured as you would expect, and the spoilers and reverse thrust position only deployed when the plane lands. Also noted that the wheels/tyres are rotating on landing - which from memory I do not think is the case with PMDG and FSLabs. Not sure how much of a challenge this would be for PMDG and FSLabs.

Today after reinstalling REX Env Force the sim started having some issues with rendering textures. I have gone through many of the suggestions that are found in several forums, such as deleting the shaders folders, uninstalling Rex Env Force, and also uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics card drivers. The problem seems to exists both in the cockpit and when outside the plan in Spot view. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. See pics below. Hello there. I built a system with the specs listed in my signature. Everything was fine in the first place. I was getting min 48-55 fps in P3D V4.5 with Overcast clouds bad weather + ORBX global + openLC + Vector + PMDG 777 + Active Sky + REX Sky Force HD clouds + Aerosoft Mega Airport Frankfurt with high settings. A friend of mine had set the Nvidia control panel for P3D v4.5 and it was all good. GPU temp was reaching 62-65C max which is pretty good at Auto Fan RPM. Then i wanted to try something different with Nvidia Control Panel settings and my FPS dropped to around 29-33 with the scenario i mentioned above. Interestingly, it feels like My gpu is no longer…

Hello all, I own the Majestic Q400, PMDG 737 and was recently gifted the 777, 747 and purchased the NGXu.. I thoroughly enjoy the Q400 and the 737 and I look forward to learning the 777 and 747 soon. I had some money put aside for the 747 but with the surprise gift I was now instead looking at adding an Airbus to the hangar space. How would you compare the Aerosoft A32x Pro series to the Q400 and PMDG models? I hear good things about it. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for any replies. Just purchased ENVTEX and trying to download my product files. They have three servers, one showing 30% load the other two 10%. Downloads start at 6% downloaded, stops then the time starts ticking up to 1234 hours. Cancelled and retried on all servers. Been at this for two hours. Had the same problem a couple days ago redownloading a product. Shame for customers having to go through such frustration trying to obtain the product after sending these people their money. Been a customer for years and seems this has gotten worse.

I bought Pilots LEST and installed it. When I chose LEST in the sim, it closes down. So I deactivatet the scenery so I could use the default LEST, chose it and the sim closed down. I have NO other LEST installed, doublechecked. I uninstalled SODE and reinstalled it but no change. All other airports using SODE work just fine. I have noi "old" AI planes messing it up.Interesting thing is that in the setup, after chosing LEST the image of the airplane stops rotating and when I press OK the sim closes down. It does no matter what airplane i use. All airplanes work on my other airports. I did run Event Viewer and understood nothing. Saw sometning abouit kernel.dll but is …

In the past, when i pinned p3d to the taskbar, i could relaunch saved fxml files from the icon after they were initially launched from the prepar3d v4 files folder in my documents. Now for some reason after doing an update to the latest p3dv4.5, it errors out and says "the item you selected is unavailable" and offers the choice to delete it. The file exists, it can be launched from the desktop (shortcut to the saved situation), but just not from the taskbar p3d icon. Minor difficulties here but im trying to figure out why. Anyone ran into this before? Thanks in advance

I've tried help everywhere...even FST...and nothing so far can correct this. The problem...when at an airport, only the shadows of the vehicles, and the jet-ways show...the people are there, sitting in the air...the DELTA logos are there but no jetways sim objects where they are supposed to be attached to the wall of.......but no object is displaying. I have tried everything, even removing both the P3D.cfg and the SIMOBJECTS.cfg to let them rebuild. After all that....the same deal....GSX regenerates, and then only shadows of vehicles, only shadows of jet-ways...and the animation characters....sitting within or upon the non-displaying sim objects. I gather there are subtle differences (improvements) between the two versions of P3D 4...but can anybody highlight the major update difference(s) between the two? Just wondering for my own understanding of the versions....and thanks!

Hi, I am building a new computer from i4790k to to i9900. Everything is new except the PS and the graphics card (1080GTX) I will also be migrating to Windows 10. I suspect the best way to do it is a clean P3DV4 install with a manual install of Prepar3D, all of the airplanes and scenery. Is there anything I can lift and shift (i.e. UT2) to make it a bit easier? Thanks

Hi,I've been having an issue since install, which has been over six months now. When I start P3D V4.5 the sim loads to the scenario screen then it sometimes goes blank then the screen appears again, it will continue to do this until I kill the my PC via the power button. If I wait so I see the screen long enough to exit P3D the sim closes and returns to windows, but now the windows screen is halfway down my monitor and I can't see the start menu. While I have never chosen in any flight sim installation to completely uninstall, and then reinstall, or update to a newer version of any flight sim title, by doing so (always did the Client/Content thing).....well, yesterday I was forced to, in being that I could not successfully update from P3D 4.4x to P3D 4.5x, (without seeing a fatal graphics anomaly) ,and could not get the latest FST's GSX/GSX2/PBR version to render properly (which was not the fault of the coding). I don't trust myself playing with numbers in aircraft conf files .I have a Piper twin engine and even with the cowl flaps closed it runs way too cold . How in the conf. file do you plug numbers in so you have more realistic engine temps? Louis cyyc

Hey Guys. I like to fly in the snow, and I like to use ActiveSky. Yes i realize I can manually set snow, but I generally like to use real world weather. Most of my flying is in the US. Though I have scenery for Edmonton, YYZ, and YUL. Also have the usual suspects. DEN,SLC,BOS,ORD,MSP,JAC,LGA,JFK,PHL,DTW. I am considering the new orbx Gothenburg to help increase the odds I have somewhere to fly in the snow. I don't mind doing fake flights like BOS-Gothenburg. But am I overlooking any obvious snowy airports with high quality scenery for P3DV4? Thanks. DG

Just gave my sim rig a facelift and upgraded mobo, cpu ect and made the jump to windows 10. Used to use fsuipc autosave and never had any problems. now, with any payware aircraft, PMDG, A2A ect anytime I save a flight is has about a 10 second pause. makes autosave unusable now. searched around a bit, and found people saying to not use autosave with PMDG, well cant help but think thats total B.S. ive been doing that for the last 4 years without a hickup so I know it can work. im guessing this is something to do with windows 10?? btw, on the stock F22 it saves instantly the second you hit enter your flying. PLEASE help...this is a deal breaker on a long haul flight.

Hello Forum I just updated the garmin 430 reality XP software to version 2.4.16.1. To practice DME arch around a fix/VOR I use the GNS 430 OBS functionality with the distance from the fix/vor to fly the arch/circle. After I updated the software I noticed the OBS feature was working differently. I can no longer change the DTK using the CDI on Nav 1. Now I have to set the DTK using the GNS knobs and once it’s set you can’t change it unless you cancel the current OBS DTK. I’m thinking I need to change a setting on the GNS so the DTK can dynamically change when I change the course on NAV1/CDI in OBS mode.

Great looking machine, poor support, their standard response in their support forum when it gets too hard to resolve is "unable to replicate issue... TOPIC CLOSED"! It is certainly not at the "Professional" stage just yet. Issues include: Using the checklist without the Co Pilot function enabled. Some items can be set pre checklist commencement, and other items need to be turned on at the time the checklist calls out that particular item. But this is not explained in the manuals that come with the product. You will need to learn this by trial and error, and don't expect any Support from Aerosoft regarding this issue.
