Just installed LatinVFR KBWI in FSX and P3d V3 and am experiencing low FPS and constant OOM errors within 15 mins of being on the ground in any payware aircraft. What could be the cause of this issue and how could I go about fixing this issue. I'm running on a beefy PC so it can handle any payware scenery or plane.

Hey everyone, happy new year! Running into a problem I just can’t seem to fix. Seems others have run into this as early as V4’s release, but I can’t find any new posts about the topic less than a year old. Curious if someone had a magic fix. When approaching an add-on airport, developer seems to make no difference whatsoever, just prior to the 30nm mark I get a freeze, about 8-10 seconds long, as the comp loads the airport. I then get another shorter freeze right about 10nm, and a small stutter right around 500 feet agl. The distance seems to be the same regardless of airport as well. Not too sure how many are of aware of this (and how many care or know already), but I've just noticed the following announcement on Aerosoft's web-site: "!! Windows 7 no longer supported !! As Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 on Jan 20th we will be unable to test any of our products on that platform. It many work, or it may not, but no guarantees from our side.". Of course, it may have been there for some time, but I've never noticed it before !

Can anyone explain why deleting shaders will fix crashing issues with P3D? This morning I was unable to launch a flight in the Nxgen Cj4x. P3D would CTD just before the scenery loading process completed. After deleting the shaders I was able to successfully start a flight. OTOH, I’ve been unable to start a flight in the Lionheart Creations Zenith, despite deleting the shaders multiple times, even though it appears to crash at approximately the same point in the loading process? I have a lot of add-ones installed, e.g, GSX, SODE, add-on scenery, add-on aircraft, ASP3D, ASCA Chaseplane etc, so I suppose the likelihood of instability increases with the complexity of the…

Is it possible to install this scenery and then turn it on and off as required. I am thinking of using it for GA/VR flying but switching off when using tube liners. Thanks Phil

Bought the Alabeo Mooney M20R Ovation. Wow....what a great plane to fly. Excellent flight dynamics, beautiful exterior and interior details. Autopilot functions well and the VC is all I could ask for. I spent quite a few hours with her yesterday and today (New Year's Day). Great flights from KEWR and KPHL (my regions) to points west, KUNV (Penn State) and KLBE (Latrobe, Pa), Arnold Palmer airport. She handled the weather well; we had some snow flurries and lots of wind. If you have this plane, I hope you agree. If not, you might want to give this GA a try. Stan

I have tried a reinstall of the p3d client several times and Tomatoshade keeps failing the integrity check on this one fx file. All others pass. I am using p3d v4.5 with the latest tomatoshade install from their website. Any ideas?

The opening window starts up, then a pop up says that it must shut down. Do I need to re-install, and if so would I need to un-install everything else first? Thank you in advance.

First – Full Disclosure: I received AT Simulations Broussard from Andrey as a gift last week (it was Christmas, after all) after I helped him on a project and he saw I did not own it… very generous of him for sure. Mjc Q400 released a uppdate to day , with support for Remote CDU

Been simming since FS1 and have never seen anything like this - I can only fly in full daylight! I hadn't done any night flying for quite a while so I don't really know when this became a problem. Here's what happening: In anything but full daylight and with the aircraft parked it is bouncing up and down at about a one bounce/second rate. If I am in the air and change from daylight to darkness, the aircraft enters a totally uncontrollable spin and crashes. I've tried ActiveSky on/off with no change. Thinking it might be something related to shadows or lighting, I temporarily changed those settings but that made no difference either. Here…

Hello, I installed a new scenery for CYYT yesterday. Everything around the terminal and the taxiways seem fine, but there are conflicting textures on the runways. I have used Vector to turn off automatic elevation correction, but the problem persists. I’m guessing there is a duplicate airport BGL file somewhere. Is there a way to check for duplicate AFCAD/AF2 files that an airport may be using? Thanks, Colin

I'm in the market for a good, but not necessarily high level, bizjet for P3D. I currently have the Carenado CJ2 which has a below average flight model, imo. Hi Before I had to rebuild my machine, I used to have an option for selecting the Weather from ActiveSky in the Weather selection. It's possible to permanently disable and/or remove TrueGlass and RealLight from P3D V4.5 completely? I think they are mainly to blame for the poor performance of some add-on aircrafts that came with them on my P3D, specifically on Virtual Cockpit view. I wanted to test without RealLight and TrueGlass to see if there is any FPS increase on VC view. Thanks, Eduardo

Hi, I am running P3D v4 with the PMDG 737NGXu and using all the saitek equipment: Yoke and 2 throttle quadrants 6 x FIPS Switch Panel Radio Panel Multi panel All of them work except for some of the multi panel. On the multi panel all of the AP buttons function, the trim wheel and AT arm switch work without issue. The issues are with the display and the rotary selector switch. When I select Heading and turn the rotary knob, nothing moves. The display shows the current altitude on the MCP in the simulation but when turning the knob nothing moves in the sim or on the panel…

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem in native VR - I just updated graphics drivers and now no 2d panels will come up at all. They show in non-VR, but not within the VR system. Tried a client re-install, and nothing. Prior to drivers update, I was having some issues with the 2d panels coming up - they would sometimes take multiple clicks before appearing. Help appreciated. I use latest version of P3D and REX SF 3D, my question is about sky. Every flight my sky is milky, doesn't matter where i am or at what altitude, everything around is milky. I have tried every REX setting but no change. Is it normal for REX, or do i set something wrong here ? ( I use REX weather engine )

I recently tried to install Skysoft's ZJHK airport into P3dv4 and everything appears to be working just fine with one exception. After departing the airport and climbing to 1,500 AGL, the scenery starts to get covered in a grey shade. I know it wasn't made for P3d but everything else working fine hopefully its a minor fix.
