Hi everyone! I finally built a new PC with the specs below and I am absolutely blown away by the P3D V4 performance. I am finally getting great performance and amazing visual from a flight simulator, my dream has come true 🙂 I am sitting at KSFO from FlightBeam with all settings pretty much set to the max and I am getting 60FPS inside the VC. I have ENVTEX also set to 4K res. Is there any way to get this? Airac 1809 is use in realityxp gtn. I would like to have a Little nav map,Ideal Flight and p3d use the same.

Hi all and Merry Christmas (again): There are paid AI Traffic utilities out there for P3Dv4.5, but most of them seems not to be updated frequently regarding their aircraft models, schedules and general functionality. That's why I've been looking for free AI Traffic utilities to know if anyone has any experience with them and could comment about this here. In general the most important aspects to comment on, would be: 1. General Functionality, 2. Easiness of installation and maintenance (including uninstall), 3. I'm posting this here, since this forum is more active than the relevant Aerosoft one: I recently upgraded to the Aerosoft Airbus Professional for P3Dv.4. However, for the life of it, I cannot get the left MCDU to recognize and load flight plans. I always get the "not in database message", no matter what I try. Things I have tried: Reinstalling the Airbusses, making sure anti-virus and firewall are disabled. Making sure I place the flight plan into the correct folder. Carefully matching the Navigraph Airac cycle to the Airac cycle of the created plan (via onlineflightplanner.org) Making sure Navigraph is activated in the Configurator as well as selec…

After I had some issues with FSDT PHNL in terms of display qualtiy and with the new Milviz KingAir, so I decided to start adjusting my P3Dv4.5 HF 2 again. What I did: Disabled ORBX Vector (I believe I'll gain some FPS) I use 4x SSAA in Sim instead of 4x SGSS from Nvidia Inspector (fixed the KingAir, and the TFDI) I rebuild my Prepar3d cfg. But now I have low FPS. I use the FSLabs for an Flight from Digital Design Liverpool to ORBX Pula. I have around 22 FPS on Ground (which I think is ok with my settings - I use FTX England), but I also have them in the air. Greetings, I have an issue with the Aerosoft Airbus Professional "tubeliner" series. I posted this some time ago in the AS forum, but no one on their team was able to replicate the issue. So, thought I'd throw it out here 😉 With the A318/319/320/321 in P3Dv4.5 (and 4,4), the elevators are hanging down, somewhat - even in cruise flight. When I do the control checks, the elevators move up, but do not move down. What is even more odd is that this does not affect the aircraft's flight behavior, it flies normally, but in external view the elevators are deflected downwards. Hi guys, I got a 4k monitor for Xmas and it has made a massive difference to my flight sim. I had previously held off using certain programs until I got the new monitor. Yesterday I installed Tomato Shade for the first time and watched some You Tube videos on how to use it. I am using the RD preset which seems to be working OK. However, I now have an excessive amount of haze wherever I fly from. For example, if I take off from Tenerife (an Island I know very well), I can barely see any of the other Canary Islands until I am very close to them. Before Tomato shade they were visible from far. I also took off from San Diego and climbed to FL34 but the haze was so exces…

Hi, I'm a new P3D4 user and i have a weird problem. It's like my monitor is flashing or blinking . I have a momentany black sceen whatever the view (cockpit or outside view) . It's hard to explain in english. I hope you understand. Thanks. I have this problem with the new Milviz King Air 350i and Vertx DA62.

After a long haul into Grantley Adams AS for v4 (fully updated) reports thunderstorms with winds of 14kts up through 12k AGL. However, all the way down to sea level the simulator is giving me air speeds of over 300kts in wild gusts. Windshear (20%),turbulence (20), and max surface winds (38) are set way down in the depiction settings. It's as if AS is exponentially inflating the local winds, making flight near impossible. Anyone finding similar depiction problems and solved them?

Hi All I am using Prepar3d v4, and flying PDMG 747/400. As of late I have been experiencing a lot of anomalies with prepar3ds data base. I have heard on a few occasions that they have just used FSX old data base when they created the software. I have a feeling they are right, we all now how old that is. I tried to create a flight from Johannesburg to Cape town. According to Navigraph charts that is FOAR To FACT. So I open Prepar3d and attempt to go to FOAR Then I get the message not in data base. So I search and find it is called FAJS. So I start Prepar3d and go to FAJS active runway. So Far so good. I then open the FMC and type in FAJS for departure, and g…

Hi guys, so I had to reinstall my P3D as i was having scenery issues. However, after my reinstall, a new issue arose. There are no trees in places where there are buildings. There are only trees in areas where there is grass. I use only ORBX Global as of right now, to test if it's an ORBX issue. I've decided to test out the trees. I would set the building autogen to none and the vegetation to max and this is the result with default scenery: This is at KLAX (FSDT) and you can see that there is only trees in certain areas. Can somebody test this out on their machine and see if they get the same result? The screenshot above is not using any ORBX products at all.

I'm having some security in Windows 10 problems. I have added a Samsung SSD and installed P3D onto there (as E drive), however I get very few options in the right-click area that I do on the bootable C-Drive. I'm having a lot of trouble installing add-on software, and I think it is a security problem, which is a shame security is not an issue for me, so I want to open the E drive up . Every time I go into my VC for a few minutes and switch back to exterior view, my plane is black for a few moments while it loads in the textures. Is there a way to fix this? Is it just a LM issue? Or do i just need better hardware? I'm running P3D V4.5 on an i5-7600k OC to 4.7 ghz and an R9 390, with 16gb of ram. The sim is installed on an SSD.

Having updated Prepar3D to version 4.5.13.32097 it now 'crashes' just after becoming airborne. I am currently running P3D v4 and I have 2 graphics cards in my PC. The 1st is an Nvidia used to drive 2 Projectors using Immersive Display Pro and the other is a AMD which is used to drive my display on my RealSimGear GNS 530 running Reality-XP. So my question is how can I save the location of the window used for Reality-XP in the RealSimGear? I have tried to set all the windows and save the flight and make it my default. All the other displays are loading correctly, just not the GPS. Any ideas?? Thanks...

Hi all, What is a good maybe freeware scenery for LAX in P3Dv4. I have already loaded the GJohnson LAX from Rikooo and FS DreamTeam LAX v 2 but can't get planes to load from P3D. THanks

Hi all, I haven`t used the pc for month and had to update some addons. After updating gsx today when i open the menu (Ctrl+Shift+F12) a window opens and on it says that couatl crashes and after this i have the option to restart it or quit so after i choose to restart couatl i try again and the same thing happens. So I forgot to un-install P3D before wiping my SDD of my old computer and know I can't activate P3D on my new PC. I sent them an email late Friday to reset my license but I am not sure of they are working this week. I know that it takes up to 2 business days for them to get back to me. Yesterday would have been one and today 2. I really hope they can get back to me soon.
