Hello dear friends of the Avsim community. I would like to point out that the FSX version and the P3Dv4.5 version of the Chevrolet Suburban have been available on the Bahrometrix download page since last weekend. I posted a corresponding contribution here at the forum under General Freeware Discussion:

I finally installed HF2 and when I try and load an aircraft with GTN 750 (I have GTN complete) I get an error message saying it is not compatible with latest version of P3D. I read on the forum that I need to run the F1 update tool but the version I have seems to have an error and will not run. I have searched the Flight1 site and cannot find a download option for the tool. I have also run the Purchase Agent app and downloaded the latest version of GTN Complete but this still does not fix the problem. I am running out of ideas.

Hi and merry Christmas to all! General question - most manual changes I do to almost every aircraft add on in P3D is modifying the camera views within the aircraft.cfg - usually removing unused views (to reduce the cycles required until getting to the more desired wing views). However, every time there is an aircraft update or reinstallation required these changes go to the trash and require me again to update everything manually. Is there a better way to manage these? Within P3D view menu? I don't use camera add ons as I use TrackIR. Thanks, Shom

Hi I'm having trouble with Time Zone Fixer Automatic Update program from SimElite. The pic attached shows that I have specified a folder that exists on setup (the folder shown does exist). Reading the manual, it's all correct, but I get the error message saying the folder can't be found. To those owning this scenery, is it any good? I watch a video review and I had the impression that the textures of the surrounding areas and secondary airports looked pretty basic... Thanks. Vvince

Hi, I've just bought and installed P3Dv.4 pro. I read (can't remember for which aircraft payware) "make sure that hotfix 1 is installed" My question is, do i have to install it or it is included in the latest version i've just downloaded. Thanks you very much and all best wishes for Christmas.

Does anyone know if its possible to get the files which come with Microsoft Flight Simulator X For Pilots: Real World Training to work in P3D? Ive had a go but P3D doesnt see the files. Anyone had any luck with this? thanks

Hi all, A problem which I always had in P3D and is still there in the latest version is a visibility banding that I get when looking and panning around. I attach some screens from today's flight. I use Chaseplane and ASP4+SF3D for weather. I tried increasing surface visibility limit to 1Km, but still see this banding. It is very annoying..does anyone know how to fix this?

If you look in the grass at the bottom of the pic you will see what I mean. Not a big deal, but any idea why I see this?

So I just noticed (Im a little late), that rex is having its fall sale. Should I finally dive in on Environment force? I read mixed things on its initial release - but how is it now? I currently run, ASP4, ASCA, SkyForce. Is it redundant at this point?

I just got asked to Re-activate Prepar3d 4.5 just after starting it up. The usual activation screen appeared asking: 'would you like to activate or re-activate you copy of Prepar3D' This just came out of the blue. It been installed for months. Wondering if anything is going on the Lockheed registration server?😁 Has this happened to anyone else today?

Having just moved from FSX to P3D, I was rather hoping the days of microstutters were behind us. Admittedly I am pushing the settings quite hard, but does anyone have advice from experience of what are the most likely things to cause microstutters. All drives are SSD. CPU is i7-8700K overclocked and delidded at 5GHz. Watching TaskMan meters, system is not overloaded it would seem. Hi Guys Bit of back story before my question . I have two PCs, one solely for flight sim (I7 4770K Ghz with a GTX 970 purely used for FSX, graphics card more than adequate for the sim). My "Gaming" and recording PC met its maker so have now have a Windows 10 machine running an I5 9600K at 4.8Ghz all cores with a GTX2080. As this machine is a bit more powerful than the old one I was thinking about putting P3D onto this new system and seeing how it performs. I bought both V2 and V3 in the past, the question is do I go with V3 or buy V4 ( am not really into waiting for the next "great sim" I get so much enjoyment out of "ahem, FSX" and I am thinking maybe …

Hi All, Occasionally I find that my main monitor fades out to black after 30 minutes of flying and nothing can be done to get the VCockpit view back. The sound is still going, Little navmap shows the planes progress but nothing can be done. , I have 3 Monitors with the main one being a 40" 4K Philips Monitor with the other two being used for Little NavMap/ KAcars, Active Sky, ProjectFLY etc. The plane I used is the Vertx DA62. Here my computer details. It does not happen often but it sure is annoying. My settings are pretty much to the right in most cases. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I have an outdated GPU (R9 390) and an ok processor (i5-7600k OC to 4.7 gHz) and I get poor frames when I have dynamic reflections on, even at low. When I turn them off, I have great frames, even with all the other settings turned up. I like having them on because it is nice eye candy, especially with tomatoshade and the new PBR textures in addons nowadays. I'm just wondering if an upgrade to GPU would improve my performance, or if it is something else that would improve it. For further specs: I run my sim off a HDD and I have 16 GB of ram.

Hello to all, I've just bought openLC Europe from ORBX, and installed it into my simulator. Prior to that, having FTX Global, my autogen was present. However, when installing openLC, surprisingly my autogen disppeared. Anything I can do? Thanks.

Hi, Could someone please explain to me why certain sceneries come with a control panel where you need to manually change seasons and then there are those which do it automatically based on sim time. Some even dynamically alternate between snow cover based on precipitation and weather conditions. If this can be done by the sim then why leave it up to user? I find it rather tedious that I have to constantly go through many different control panels and switch seasons there manually. Few are especially confusing where there is a season switch and then seasonal ground textures switch (Hello, JennaSoft). Thanks.

Dear Captains, I was wondering if there is a way have the ailerons and rudder axis assigned simultaneously in one so that it is possible to steer the aircrafts' nose wheels with the Honeycomb Alpha Controls yoke.
