Hi, I updated my computer hardware today to an I9 9900KS on a 390er Motherboard. I tried the previous P3D Installation from my old System (I7, 6700K) but it seams not to work as good as I aspected, so I decided to make a fresh install. I have the following hard drives: Drive C 960 Evo M.2 SSD 256 GB for Win10 Drive D 970 Evo Plus M.2 SSD 1 TB for P3D Drive E 950 Evo (normal) SSD 465 GB for Addons ? Drive C and D are M.2 SSDs and faster than Drive E because its only a "normal" SSD I have to install: P3DV4 Active Sky, Chaseplane ORBX (Global, Vector, …

So I've been using EF/SF and ASP4 without ASCA and I've notice a few minor issues. On occasion, I see flickering or competing cloud textures. Its almost like maybe the software isn't able to decide on a cloud texture type? Very weird. The other one I noticed is when using the ASP4 for wx, and EF/SF, The auto modes all pretty much go to Running except "Scene Lighting". When I close ASP4 and enable the SF wx engine, scene lighting goes to running, and honestly, looks much better to me. Also - 3d cloud morphing I noticed is also waiting, but maybe this is because Im sitting idle on the ground. Top is ASCA: vs SF Engine below:

Just wanted to give a shout out to the app SPADNext as I tried to use it years back and could not for the life of me get it to work with my Saitek (now Logitech), panels. My equipment literally sat there for a couple of years I as progressed into P3Dv4.5. I had heard they recently released a new version so I dedicated an evening of several hours thinking that is the minimum I would need, and installed the latest version. I installed with no issues, watched a 15 minute You Tube vid to get my bearings, used a default profile to start and WHOLAA! It all worked! This never happened in the past. I bought the PMDG 747-8 a while back and now I'm doing the first flight with it, but I noticed something strange that never happened before, I'm now about one hour into the flight and the simulator already went into a black screen with the "loading scenery progress bar" twice since takeoff. First one was actually very shortly after takeoff from LPPT. Anyone knows what's possibly wrong in here? Thanks.

Hi Everyone I finally purchased GSX and GSX2 in the FSDT sale earlier today. I was using GSX/GSX2 in my P3D setup with my FSDT sceneries but now to use it with my other airports, do i need to uninstall with a new version or is there some manner which i make the current install work with my other airports? Hello, There seems to be a problem with the installation of the QW787 on my system. Most of the liveries I installed are missing from the aircraft selection screen. Only the most recently installed liveries are showing up. For example. I installed a KLM 789 and a Singapore 78X livery a few days ago. Now they were only the ones showing up. Just to test, I installed another livery, an Ethiopian 788 yesterday. When I opened up the sim, only the Ethiopian livery was showing up. The 787 doesn't add liveries using the old method of adding an entry in the cfg file of the aircraft, so I cannot diagnose what's causing this issue. Any ideas ? Cheers 9…

I have recently re-purchased and re-installed the A2A C182 Skylane with Accusim (a much improved model over P3D V3 I believe), and stumbled across a thought for which I would ask the assembled wisdom of AVSIM. I fly (see signature) Active Sky, Chase Plane, the newly acquired C182, and also recently, Sky Force. I have had SF for a while but did not have it running while flying as I had chosen a Sun/Cloud/Sunsel/Lightening effect and left them loaded. However, with the most recent update I thought I would let Sky Force choose the cloud textures versus "Cumulus Maximus" to see how it works. It works just great, and I am glad. Hi Everyone I usually fly payware jets (the usual suspects PMDG etc) but I have these beautiful sceneries that miss out a little at times due to higher flight levels, high speeds etc I am looking to invest in a few higher performance GA aircraft and have been looking at my options. Recently I had some discussions with well known people on these forums about an aircraft that had taken my eye, the Alabeo C421. I am told it’s a good aircraft with some after market mods but it was also suggested I take a look at the Carenado PC12. I tried HDR when it was first introduced in P3D but didn't care for it so I've done all of my flying without it. I recently purchased the Aerosoft CRJ Pro and although I like the plane, the cockpit is just too dark. I turned on HDR which allows the cockpit to look a lot better but the outside views are too bright and washed out. My problem is that the three adjustments for HDR have no effect. I can move the sliders from one end to the other without anything changing. Not sure what I'm missing, hence the requested guidance. My system is a Win 10 64, I7-6800K and GTX 1080. Good Evening. I fly in x-plane extensively and recently purchased P3d to round off my hangar collection of airliners regional airliners and GA aircraft. For those of you who fly both X-plane and P3d what aircraft is worth looking into that will complement Xplane collection? I already have 319 by toliss FF 320 and 350 as well as their 757 and 777 and of course zibo 737. Considering I don't want to duplicate them in P3d sandbox what should I look at first that is not present or not present well enough in xplane.

Hello, I'm ported over from FSX, P3Dv3 to P3Dv4. I'm experiencing a display error in my logbook. Nothing serious, just annoying. I have not found any posts related to my problem. From time to time it is convenient to dispose of incomplete flights that were made to test an aircraft install or some other minor thing. The box at the bottom of the page that says "Click to Delete This Entry" is just visible. I can see the top of the box border and a bit of the white background inside the box. Clicking on the visible edge has the desired effect, it erases the entry. I expect there is nothing below this box, but I don't know that for sure. I have downloaded D…

Hi everyone, I did not post his is the GSX forum as I do not believe it is their problem. Something in my setup is killing Sode after I load a flight. The GSX menu pops up and everything works in the menu except 'Operate Jetway' which returns 'Sode is unavailable, jetways will not animate'. 😞 I have uninstalled and reinstalled Sode, that procedure shows it IS installed, active and registered. Where is the sode exec or script located? I can sort through my AV and try to exclude it. Thank you in advance. Bob
