I have seen that for X-Plane it is possible to use SkyDemon remotely (if I am not mistaken with GPS mode), do you know if there is a way to use it also with P3D4? Many thanks.

Hello, today when flying the FSLabs A319 I noticed I had no visible beacon, nav or strobe lights. I posted about this on the FSLabs forum but then later tonight I noticed that the Flysimware Falcon also had no strobes, beacons or nav lights. In both cases the landing/taxi lights work fine. I tried loading the FSLabs A319 at night and I can see the strobe/beacons reflections on the ground, but not the lights themselves. Also, I noticed tonight that airports with default lighting are missing airport lights. I'm guessing there is some common connection here, any thoughts? I have deleted my shaders. Thanks, Dave

I am hoping a resident tomatoshade user in these forums can give me some advice. I recently installed tomatoshade along with the R & D Presets profile and my sim looks terrific. However, it has done something to my PBR aircraft models like Leonardo and Carenado. I did not alter them at all, but it has taken the really nice shine and rich color away from them. I know there are aircraft profiles that can be used and I have used some successfully for my FSLabs and PMDG planes, but what about planes you just want left alone and not altered? Does anyone have any advice for me? I can't find much info at other sites. Lee

There was a thread about this add-on here at AVSim, but it was a long time ago (The development of the add-on was first announced in 2016), so I thought I'd start a new thread. According to Chris, Creative Design Studio is getting close to release of the add-on, which conceptually is similar to how the scenery/autogen is supposedly created for MSFS, except the add-on is for P3d4. The add-on obviously isn't server-based, like the scenery in MSFS is. This might keep people using P3d4, if it delivers what CDS has promised. Hi All. I currently run ENVSHADE/TEX/ActiveSky for modeling/ASCA for sky color/SkyForce for clouds/text. I've seen some very nice looking screenshots of TS. Do you guys recommend disabling ENVSHADE and going with TS?

Hi I was using uk2000 EGPH scenery and it was running nice and smooth I uninstalled by deleting from the p3d addons folder,I then installed orbx EGPH and now its not running smooth and the frames have halved, I also notice a lot of buildings floating just after I take off from runway 6,taking off from orbx Innsbruck nice and smooth, maybe the pbr is the difference but don’t know if you can turn pbr off or maybe some of the uk2000 scenery still there any help on how to fix this problem don’t want to uninstall the new airport it looks very nice.

Hi I have to tried to contact Pro-ATC/X own forum but without luck, so now I would try to get help here. I'm a new user for Pro-ATC/X and I can't figure out how to use this. Nr. 1: how do i set up this program ??? Nr. 2: how to make a route??? Nr. 3: do I need an extra program to use pro-ATC / X ??? Nr. 4: How do I choose a flight / how do I enter the route for example Aerosoft's Airbus Family Pro ??? Hello, I have a lighting problem that I am unable to resolve. When using environment force, tomatoshade, or no shaders mods at all, the image while in spot view looks good. When I switch to the cockpit view and then back to external spot, the image is washed out and dull(gray) looking. Then, I press the escape key or access any of the menu options, the colors reset to what they looked like before I switched to the cockpit view. So, something about switching my to cockpit view is causing my lighting settings to become washed out. Any ideas what the reason could be? Below are photos taken at the same location. I thought that maybe the board could use a happy thread for a change. 😃 I recently had surgery and I'm right smack in the middle of 4 weeks time off of work so I've had lots of P3D time i the past 10 days. Fortunately for me, the sim has been running great, and I have been enjoying the heck out of it. PBR and dynamic lighting are the best things ever for night flying! I just wish LM would turn the Sun into a dynamic light so the sim would look as good during the day as it does at night. Does anybody have a sense of when the Aerosoft A330 might be coming to P3Dv4.4...?? I know it's being worked on, but the devs have chosen to shut off the pipeline of information and updates on the project, at least for the time being. I was hoping for an early to mid 2019 release for the AS A330, but perhaps that's overly optimistic. The lack of a decent payware A330 represents a glaring gap in airliner availability for P3D v4 IMHO, there are hundreds of the type in service worldwide as both passenger jets and as freighters, so it will be a welcome addition when it comes.

Hello all, I'm thinking of purchasing some rudder pedals for Prepar3D V4. With regards to setting them up I quite like steering the aircraft on the ground with my joystick by twisting it. Would this still be possible if I get rudder pedals? I think I’d struggle taxiing with the rudder pedals. Ideally I’d like to just leave my joystick configuration as it is and just use the pedals for braking and control of the rudder. Would that be possible? Many thanks, Jonathan

I haven't seen much discussion of this jet recently but thought I'd share this with you. Having asked on the Hi-Fi forum if integrating their Wx radar into this aircraft was possible I was pointed to a topic that discussed it and to a file here in AvSim's Library - rolasnradar-v2-x64.zip I followed the advice and I'm delighted to report now have a functioning Wx radar. Highly recommended for all Lear25 pilots. 😁

Hi, anyone else having issue at FSDT KORDV2 with chaseplane? I have noticed going in and out of avatar mode ,reenable chaseplane switching views etc was to much for my system. Max 8gb VRAM was used latest drivers and around 600gb free space on c drive. 1080ti 11gb Thanks Michael Moe

When using the GTN 750 with the CLS DC-10 the gps goes dark after about 10-15 min with the engines off, apu on, ground power connected and avionics on. How do I fix this?

Hi Guys. Is it possible to run P3D (or FSXSE too) *without* (a) the aircraft view and (b) slew the viewpoint? I have separate instruments and instrument panel displays and don't need to show the aircraft itself. If it's not possible to have a movable exterior view, then how do you set up the config file to do simultaneous views from different directions? Thanks :)

I got the FS labs A320 a couple of weeks ago, every since I got it the PAs have not worked (I have installed the airline packs from the Fslabs website) I reinstalled the plane and that did not change anything, then I got the FS labs A319 and surprisingly the cabin packs did not work for the A319 either. I installed the packs into D:\FSLabs\SimObjects\Airplanes\FSLabs A32X\Airlines. Hope someone can help me with this! Luca

Hey there, I have a little problem, I have discovered there are some Scenery texture problems more places in the world in P3D v4. I don't know what went wrong, but you can look at it in the attached picture what my problem is.
