I just started using v4, and am noticing that the hat switch on my Saitek yoke for changing the view is only working in the up direction. I would think that it would be my yoke wearing out, but I do not have this problem in v3, so it is not the yoke wearing out. Does anyone have any advice as to how to fix this? I have calibrated my yoke in P3D but still have the same problem. Thanks in advance

Are there any good tips in terms of getting the shimmering in the cockpit (particularly white letters when illuminated)? I went to 4.5 hf 2 and seem to have shimmering going on and I don't know how to stop them. I know it is somewhat of an issue with P3d as a whole, but it seems a lot worse to me lately. Here are my graphics settings FXAA- On 8MSAA AA x 16 Texture resolution High 3440x1440x32 Vsynch - On Triple Buffering - On I have a GTX 1060 6gb. Thanks!

Hi There, I have a little issue. I was not seeing some of my AI in the sim. All of my GA AI is in the P3D/scenery/world/scenery folder, and none of it is showing up. The rest of my AI that are located in different folders (AIGAIM, MAIW) show up fine. While troubleshooting this at AIG, I moved all of those traffic.bgl's to a different folder, and everything showed up just fine. Inside the scenery/world/scenery folder there are also a number of FTX elevation files and a few elevation files from other add ons. Finally got around to purchasing this add-on airport and I’ve got to say the recreation and detail of the airport is very impressive. Most of all, for its size and amount of AI I have parked there, my FPS is better than any of my other major AP add-ons I’m currently running...! If all of Flightbeams AP’s are this nice and FPS friendly I’ve got to take a look at a lot more of their products!

Today I've installed the MV TwinOtter (turbo), but no success. I get a CTD as soon as I try to load the aircraft. As requested by the install guide, I had my AV deactivated during install, and UAC is zero. I'm not interested in this product anymore and I decided to uninstall, but it seems that this was not a clean procedure either. The dll.xml was not cleaned up and I suspect other leftovers. How (and where) can I remove all files and settings which came with the MV installation. I may add, this was the only product from MV what I have installed. Any ideas and help gratefully appreciated.

I'm gonna post this here as it's not really a CTD, I've posted about this over the last month or so with no real remedy but now it's driving me nuts, this all started at the time of the p3dv4.5 HF2 install and the updating of all addons to be compatible with HF2, updated the client and content, plus I'm sure there was a wins10 update in there as well, now the issue is that everytime there is a shader change with an addon be either envshade, Rex or even if I what to rebuild the shaders folder without any settings change the minute I open p3d it will sit there loading fine and then the P.C will shutdown and turn off, the next restart all will fire up and be fine, I'll repea…

Greetings all, I am using the registered version of FSUIPC 5.152 with P3D v 4.5 HF2. As the title says, I cannot program the yoke in FSUIPC. I am certain the sim recognizes the yoke, because default settings, such as trim, flaps, gears, etc are working fine. But, I cannot program any buttons. Goodday all, I have troubles to find the best settings for my configuration in P3D v4.5 and herefore I will ask you for help I have following specs: Prepar3D V 4.5 Nvidia GeForce GTX1050ti 27" FHD schreen / 1920x1080p / 60 Hz QualityWings 787 / Aerosoft Airbus Professional The problem is that with some above Addons the gauges + textmessages are rarely readable, (with popup / 2D no problem) I would like to know if anybody of the community which are the best settings for my config If more info is needed do not hesitate to ask many thanks in advance.......

Hello people, have my self-created AI traffic as an add-on XLM file in my P3Dv4 integrated (Thanks Simbol for the instructions). Now I want to assign the whole by batch command a specific CPU core, but have no idea how to do that. Can someone help? Grüße Karl

Yesterday I bought this great product and I really like it. I have almost every FAIB ac, several AIG ac, many FLAI ac. TG and FSPX ac I disabled ( not compatible (yet) . Looking at the AI traffic at airports I see very nice lights. What I would like to see are more ac with flashing strobe lights. Now perhaps 1 out of 5 has them. Is there a way I can have ac that have all lights incl strobe lights ?

Im quite new to P3D and flight sim in general so excuse my lack of detailed knowledge, xperience and understanding. Latest P3D Academic, triple monitor 7680 x 1440 with NV Surround as my PC/Graphics hardware not up to fps hungry view groups and budget constrained. Configured for NVSurround with an SLI setup with OC Titan Blacks that works quite nicely apart from the distortion which is spoiling the immersive experience. Not sure if anyone else has this problem, when I first load the sim and I am sat at a gate (any gate,any airport) with UTL running, FPS is good around 40 fps depending on the airport and scenery. But after around 15-20 mins (sometimes longer, sometimes sooner) the FPS drops to around 15 fps. The only way to get the FPS back is to disable UTL, but if I enable UTL again the FPS drops again. The only way to get back my FPS is to restart the sim. I don't think this is anything to do with the sim, as I have stripped and reinstall P3Dv4 a few times, for various testing, and I still get this problem with UTL, even with just default scenery. Hello guys, has anyone good settings for these programms (all should work together!): Prepar3dv4.5 HF2 Active Sky (for Weather) REX Environment Force (Automatic Mode) REX SkyForce (Textures, Programm can be closed - Environment Force will take the textures from SkyForce - I read somewhere) Tomatoshade ENVTEX (not sure if I need this anymore???) I've big problems with Tomatoshade, I can't find a good profile working with all the other programms. Too dark, too much haze, ... Anyone running all these programms together? Thanks Urmel

Hello Everyone. As the title says, I've flown nothing but Boeings my entire flight sim career and I'm looking to switch things up a bit and learn something new. Heavily considering picking up the FSL Airbus but I'm just looking for some input or maybe other personal experiences on how transitioning to a completely different aircraft is. How steep is the learning curve with Airbuses systems? Thanks for the input

Hi all, After not succeeding in using AIG I have tried the latest update which indeed allows me to finish loading addon airports. I have registered at the forum and am awaiting approval. I only want the aircraft as I am using PSXT for Live Traffic. And with AIG I can use Simbol's program for the lighting. Is it correct that I cannot see how to install aircraft yet in the Manager ? In Tool /Settings I have added P3Dv4. At the OCI Tab I have added the path to where I want to install the program and where ImageTool exists. Now I need an Install button....

Hi, I deleted and backed up p3d.cfg, I started p3d and regenerated a new cfg file, I loaded a default aircraft and airport but the scenery and textures are messed up. I don’t have any textures and just have green colors outside. After I restored my previous (old)p3d cfg file but still same situation What can it be? Please advise Georgios

Hello, I have some freeware sceneries with photoscenery installed but after P3dV4.5 HF2, the afcads are in a different position from the photoscenery, sometimes even flipped. Anyone have an idea what's going on and can help? I also have ORBX Global and Vector installed. Thanks Wale

I believe that I may have discovered what may be a neat way to use the full detent range of the Aerosoft Airbus Professional throttles using FSUIPC, if you only have one basic throttle lever as hardware (I have a Thrustmaster T.1600M HOTAS FCS throttle and stick - nothing too elaborate). My settings in the Aerosoft A320/321 Configurator are as follows: Load e.g. the A320 in P3D and delete all throttle assignments in the P3D settings. Hi, I have installed OZx YBSU (currently on a different drive to my P3D installation) and am getting the following issue with the airport I have already tried putting in a new detail 1 into the relevant P3D folder. I am running P3D V4.5 HF2 with all elements updated to V4.5. In addition, I have Orbx Australia V2, but have all the YBMC/YBSU bits disabled and the scenery is at the top of my scenery list in P3D. Has anyone come across this and have a nifty fix?

Hello Guys. It's been a decade since I did a transatlantic vatsim flight. I'm trying to read and youtube up on it again. I've noticed many of the real world flights appear to not be flying a track at all.
