The aircraft will be set at gates based on historic data from week 1, 2024, courtesy RealTraffic. Got P3D V5.4 on my recently formatted computer. I installed P3D V5.4 and a Boeing 737 with the FSX default VC with edited textures, nothing more. When turning on landing lights at night, I get some heavy graphical glitches with squares blinking on the screen and extremely low FPS. I already tried turning off Enhanced Atmospherics, Dynamic Lights, and HDR Lighting, but nothing has worked so far. I’ve just bought Montpellier LFMT for P3Dv5 from SimMarket as they’re having a sale. It installed okay and kudos to the developers for adding customised GSX2 jetways and WalkOn features. The problem is overlapping parking positions in the arc in front of the main terminal building. If you have AIG Ai the wings of two 737s are overlapping they’re that close. Has anyone else seen this and did you resolve it? It looks like some AFCAD editing is needed.

Hi guys, Has anyone of you succeeded to have runway and taxiway lighting ? I bought the boxed version directly form Mathijs at the Fs Weekend in Lelystad and he claimed it to be v3 compatible. At their site they now wrote v2 compatible. Already I have rspsonded in their Zurich v2 topic, but lately their support is at a lower level... Has ayone of you succeeded in getting it to work ? Hi, I read with interest from an Navigraph email today, that they plan to integrate a new Takeoff and Landing performance tool/calculator into the app. No news on when this will come, but development is underway. It appears its based on the aircraft profiles Simbrief has already based on the UI screenshot they depicted. Not quite sure how detailed the performance calculator will be if for example you were to compare this with previous Topcat functionality. Good day friends I am currently flying my full size B-738 simulator in my basement with 4 external monitors (2x 32" TV monitors and 2x projectors) connected to a single graphics card. Yes it is a mixt of displays because of economy I took what I had at home. Sooner or later I will update but the simulator room has no room for ceiling mounted projectors so I will transfer to 4x TV monitors sooner or later. The graphics card I use today is a GeForce ASUS GTX 1+60 Dual OC, 6 GB with a maximum resolution of 7680 x 4320 which I also use, four monitors at 1920 x 1080. It works okay but I cannot use complex scenery or advanced graphics before I end up with whateve…

Hi all, Recently I got this problem with the PMDG 777. In flight, for no reason, the aircraft stop following the flight plan and also stop following the flt dir. I still can click on the buttons but they do nothing. I also tryed to disonnect auto pilot and turn the aircraft by myself but the aircraft dont do anything. I have traffic etc at 0 per instructions. As I try to file a plan, it fails to retrieve simbrief data (I copied and pasted my id) or I enter KONT.26L^FL11 yet I see no way to save it, or even enter it. There's no traffic at all. On the plus side it sees AS V6 - Connected. Any help appreciated.

Hi all, Does anyone knows how to change default position of aircraft view? I mean, when I load the aircraft and I go for aircraft views, I want to change position and zoom for those views so I don’t need to change every time I load the aircraft. Thanks.

Over last few week, I have been looking at getting either one of these planes, I have read up on these and watched youtube reviews but I can't seem to make heads or tails of them, what I want to know is, what one is the " better " choice to go for in regards to quality, performance, flight dynamics, functions etc etc, could someone with some experience with these crafts share some pros and cons of each please. Hello, after having not flown P3D for some time I updated to 5.1 and tried to go for a flight. Now when I load it up, I get to the main menu, a pop up window appears that says loading scenery objects, it gets stuck at 1%, then it crashes. This is without me hitting ok to go into the sim. This is repeatable. No log file generated in Event Viewer. Anyone else seeing this?

Hello Fans, After reinstalling I had a huge problem with Modelconverter X. It can be installed, looks for all the paths for the bglcomp.exe and the xtomdl.exe itself. I can load .dae files and everything is perfect. Only if I want to export the object in P3D V4 format - Error. It does not work. the texture is good, but not the same. Exporting the whole thing as FSX .bgl is no problem. Can someone use the screenshot to see what's going wrong for me? As an 18 year user of FSX and having gone straight from that venerable sim to P3D (version 4.5) just this week, I knew from very long prior research here at Avsim and the P3D forums that my greatest challenge was likely going to be finding anti-aliasing settings that work well. And this wasn't going to be just a P3D thing. Probably like most of us I digress into actual games and have found that once we got to DX11 and beyond, the only real way to truly tame the jaggies was throwing the kitchen sink at the title in terms of in game AA settings and then using DSR on top of that. Well folks, It looks like the TFDI team are nearing the end of their development phase and now begin testing in earnest. No specific release date announced yet though. I am wondering what your purchase plans are since there are 3 versions available? You can either install the passenger or cargo variant and then purchase the other main variant for $10 and there's an extended simulation package with failures for another $5. Have to say I like the default Lockheed Electra. It's the Just Flight version, and it has very good graphics, especially in the VC, and just about everything seems to work. The systems modelling seems functional for the most part. What I don't particularly like is that from the cockpit, the aircraft seems "dead": there is no vibration from the two big rotary engines,and when you land you never hear the landing gear contacting concrete. But it is after all free so guess I shouldn't complain that it could be even better.

I think the problem is down to not linking to the P3D SDK. the manual does explain this very well which part of the SDK.

I.'m posting here as the SODE forum and support has more or less ceased. As a retired programmer I pride myself on having a logical mind. Having managed to place a couple of windsocks in a couple of my UK2000 airports adapting the existing code in the xml files I have tried to create two at a different airport that doesn't have any. I copied the required files from the UK2000 folder in C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects to a new LEIB folder. In it I have the same 3 windsock folders, texture folder and sim.cfg. It's a mystery to me why the default zoom is .30 in wide-angle mode in P3D v4.5. That seems like a crazy zoom value to me. Who uses .30 anyway and for what?? So how do I change my default zoom to .60 in wide-angle view mode and forever avoid using .30 zoom? Thank you.
