I found a freeware ZKPY in the Avsim Library that appears to work in P3dv5, However, the default buildings are interfering and I searched and cannot find what file to disable. Any idea as to how to disable the default ZKPY? Cheers, Pete

Hello, I got issues with dynamic lighting in JustSim EDDV in P3D V5. I reinstall the scenery twice but the Dynamic lights are not working. Has anyone a Solution? In EDDS and EDDL e.g everything works fine.

I'm having a problem in that as soon as I start my descent a chime start going off. It continues all the way to the ground. Any suggestions on what's causing this and how to stop it? Someone suggested the Gear Warning. I don't think that's it, because it started when I was at about FL250. Also the button on the throttle didn't stop it. I posted on the Carenado forum but I haven't got any response. Tom

So I've noticed that at sunrise and sunset with EA "On", the mountain terrain glows almost white. It only effects mountains. The flat terrain does not have this issue. I think it may have to do with the haze or volumetric fog or something? You can reset the scenery so that is displays properly by cycling EA on-off-on. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? I'm using ASP3D but don't think that program would cause this issue. I wonder if @simbol or @Rob_Ainscough know if this is a bug that LM already know about? I've also noticed the moon brightness as night is way over done. It seems really bad with snow textures. Flying into Pacsim KSLC at night with winter textures…

Anyone else having this issue with saved flights? When loading the textures are all corrupted on clouds and aircraft externally? is there a fix? quite pathetic actually as its ruined my flight thanks mike

Hi, I have a quick question hopefully. What is the folder used for? Tried looking through the guide but couldnt find anything of detail. I notice its highlighted in pink in Lorby's Add-on Manager which typically indicates an empty folder. What's this folder used for and is it supposed to be empty? What functionality in AIG OCI is using this? Everything is working as it should , so I am just curious. Thanks in advance,

Since October 8th, I've been noticing FPS drops on my system. I've tried everything, from windows hacks, to different p3d configs. And today, I've experimented a bit more. FPS drops happens overtime. It starts to decrease sometimes when I'm stagnant at a gate, it goes from a constant 30 down to 25 then down to 20, and when I'm moving, they also start to drop, from 30 to the lowest of 18 fps. My specs are as follows: - Intel Xeon E5-2678 V3 @ 2.50, Boosts to 3.2 GHz - Nvidia Quadro P5000 (equivalent to a 1080) -12 GB Ram (There should be no problem with specs as I've never had this issue before) Here's what I've tried so far: https:/…

After the 5.1 HF1, my lighting was dark in the cockpit and crazy intense colorful outside. While it was sort of trippy, experiment with your HDR settings. You'd be surprised how little of a change makes a big difference. Just brighten things up a bit until you can see your panel without turning on the floodlights, and experiment with saturation to get the colors looking to your taste.

I have been reading posts and being very patient before making the leap to v5. 4.5 is stable and generally works well with average FPS. I still experience stutters at times. But in all fairness I have added a lot of scenery bgl files to my 3rd party airports via SimDirect. I like my airports to look busy. My specs are JetLine System i7-4790 @4 ghs, 16 ram, 64 bit, Win 10, GTX 1080ti. I have had it awhile but it still does the job well. Can I expect a bump in performance? Thanks.

Happened with fresh install of 5.1 HF1. Installed Orbx Global Base, OpenLC Europe, Vector, Trees. Noticed airports were on all on sloped plateaus. Default and otherwise. Uninstalled All Orbx products. Restarted P3D. Same problem. So... where to start troubleshooting? This is a brand new install on a fresh OS, about as virgin as it gets.

Is this the way LM intended to render the cloudscapes with EA? Or can I improve quality in any way. My clouds are already at Ultra resolution. I'm using ActiveSky, maybe it's that application who causes it. But anyhow, it looks bad in my eyes, and I'd like to fix it.

Hi guys, I'm having some trouble trying to configure FSUIPCP v6 on Prepar3D v4 to recognize the buttons "Master Caution" and "Warning Reset" on my physical module. I tried this tutorial https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/512820-making-a-fsuipc-macro-tutorial/ because I cannot find the "button tag" on the list and I wonder I could create a Macro to attach some code on it, but I cannot find what is the correct "button tag" on FSUIPCP6.log Does anyone know what's the "button tag" for these buttons?

After perusing PMDG's website, I considered buying subject product. But does everything that works in v5.0 still work the same in v5.1? Is this product good to go for v5.1 with the hotfix? Is it asking too much for devs to specify what versions it will work with, like maybe say... "v5.0 inc. 5.1, also 5.1 with hotfix." Does no one remember 5.0 products that had to have a patch for 5.1? I am assuming that PMDG is promising that it will work with all versions of 5.0, and I don't have to be concerned about the no refund policy. Right? But what about the "v4.4+" language? So, this works in everything from v3.4 on up to 5.1?

Due to monetary contraints i will not be able to get a new computer till january but I want to get it as a christmas gift So i have some questions 1) Can i buy the sim at christmas and keep it on a remote hard drive without activating it till i get the new computer 2) Can i purchase version 4.5 or can i only get version 5 3) Is it only version 5 or does the it come with the hot fix already included 4) I want to get PMDG 737ngu and qualitywings 787, can i purchase those and save them on a remote hard drive withou…
