Hello, Question for Flyers which have installed EDDL 2.1 from Justsim. When i come into the near of this airport my sim crash with the Nvidia device hung. when i takeoff from this airport (23L or R) and turn left, the sim will crash also. I have an 1080TI with 11 GB, my sim shows me it uses 4,5 from 10 Gig. And it crash. When i deactivate this schenery the sim run and run and run without troubes in these region. Also installed: ORBX Germany Noth and South, the ORBX EDDL-Files are deactivatet. The sim only crash with Justsim EDDL2.1 activated. Which plane is irrelevant. It crash with PMDG and also with the default F35. can anyone confirm? pleas…

Hi, Is there anything that can be done to improve the way the sun reflects off the water? As shown in the screenshot below. I've never been a fan of it since the V5 changes. It just looks terrible IMO.

My SDD is quickly filling-up; having multiple sims is really starting to be a pain :). I was wondering if any of you had your scenery files on HDD, while P3D remains on the SDD? I was thinking of keeping all my ORBX scenery on my SSD, but move my airport sceneries (e.g. FlyTampa, FSDream, etc...) to an HDD. Do you see any issues with this COA?

Since forever, which is a long long time, I have just been using keyboard and mouse to fly... Now made the big step to this Hotas and am wondering if anyone has an ideal/best button mapping for P3D v4.5 available for me by chance ? Special interest is to know if "reverse thrust" is possible to map on these units. Don't see anything mentioned. Hans.

Hey folks, recently just tried my Pimax 5k+ in P3d 4.5. The cockpit image looked hideous! Very pixelated. I do have the VR setting in P3D, also when I select VR settings..P3D will lock and then crash to desktop. I'm going to try and to another install of P3d4.5x. Don't have any add-ons loaded right now, this is stock P3D. I have a pretty strong machine. I9 9900X(yes, X not K) OC to 4.5.(Best I can get with water cooling) 2080Ti video card(GB Auros) water cooled as well. 32GB of DDR4 Ram 3200hz X299 motherboard. Here's a question that someone might be able to answer; after doing a full install of V5.1. I deleted the shaders as suggested. The first time I loaded a flight (PMDG 737 NXGu @ FSS Vancouver airport) I noticed my FPS had dropped from a previous 23fps at the gate with everything off, to 15. Curiously, every time I start P3d, I gain a couple of fps each time. I am almost back to where I was before. Now, I also note, that just as the progress bar fills when loading a flight, the last item is "compiling initial shaders". It does this each time. Hi all, I have qw787 1.3.1 in p3dv5. I found the FPV circle always jumping in HUD especially during landing. Is there any ways to solve?

Hi all,I updated my p3d from v5.0 HF2 to v5.1 HF1. After updating the Client, I run P3D then it automatically and directly loaded a flight without showing anything in my screen but a process bar. I even cannot see the P3D main application page which I can choose aircraft, airport and weather etc. When the loading process bar completed, I only heard the sound but my screen showed nothing. And I have checked the cfg file, the option SHOW SCENARIO WINDOW was 1. So how could I fix it? Tieyuan Sun

Little supply but which one for P3D . 3080 worries me low vram . 6800 more vram lower speed vram. Poor raytacing support for other games and AMD worries me. 3090 has everything but christ what a price jump. I can get 3090 now the other two sometime maybe. Money is there for it but can I justify it . Please dont answer me with wait for 3080ti it does not exist yet and then there will be 4900ti with 64gig vram to wait for then. Todays cards only for disscussion.

Hey guys I cannot figure out as to why P3d hangs on close? chaseplane and P3d closes from taskbar. but still running in task manager. sometimes 2 instances of P3d exe running. Thanks mike

I have updated to the latest P3D v5.1 and have Active Sky,ASCA and Envtex installed and they are all up to date. However,in the Sim I do not see any clouds and my P3D /weather/clouds folder is empty. I do have ASCA cloud files in my AS/Clouds folder. When I activate AS in the sim I get the message 'ASCA Graphics Activation in progress" and after about 15 seconds I get the CTD. I am wondering whether anyone could be kind enough to try and throw any light as to what might be causing my issues. Michael

Hi All I've been scouring the vast reaches of the internet in the hope of finding freeware scenery for P3D V5. I'm not looking for payware scenery mostly because a lot of them are not frame rate friendly for my system specs. The one's I do have already suck my system's resources dry. I had been using Ray Smith sceneries in FSX SE and then tried Robert Catherall's versions, but they don't work in P3D V5. Now, of course I tried using ADE to resolve this, but with V5's updated airport data, I'm just not able to get Robert's sceneries to work. I am unsure as to why. Would anyone know an easier way to convert Robert's airport files? Vickram

I have posted this in the FSX forum as that's my main sim but also dabble with P3D 4.5 and the issue is the same. Am looking for some advice regarding the sounds for AI planes, I use Ultimate Traffic Live (P3D/FSX Steam) on one of my set ups and Ultimate Traffic (FSX boxed) on the other. Both of them procude the same sound, they are more like hairdryers than aircraft. I seem to remember that there is a setting in the CFG file ( Soundlod?) that you can change from 0 to 1 and this is supposed to have some sort of effect but they still sound like hairdryers. Just want to have an immersive sounding airport, any ideas?

Are gone! This is a good HF! Performance is a lot better as well. And even EA for me is usable, i was not bothered with it but with orbx no bleed through of textures. Havent tried it with other scenery.

All I can say is that I am thoroughly impressed with V5.1 with its new Hotfix for quite a few reasons. First of all I flew from Philly (KPHL) to Las Vegas (KLAS) with sliders pretty much to the right ...4 SSAA, 4096 resolution, and the flight went beautifully with no stutters or significant pauses at all. I couldn't do that with V5.0. It was absolutely impossible to go over 200 miles (for me, anyway) without serious stutters and an eventual shutdown with Ctrl/Alt/Del because it was so bad. Version 5.1 changed that, but I couldn't use EA because of the cloud blocks, etc. The Hotfix changed EA for the better. Perfect flight using EA today after I read a thread here…

Hi, My setup is an OLED TV 48' together with a side 23' 1080p monitor which I use for icons and maps etc. Yesterday, I decided to select the second 23' monitor as my main display in Windows 10 in order to prevent the taskbar from showing on my OLED display (keeping it full black when no sim are running...). I have no issue with MSFS or XP11 but with P3D, whenever this 23' monitor is selected as the Windows main display, the sim would load in 1920x1080 and there is no way to select the sedonc monitor (my OLED TV) in the P3D display settings... I can see both display showing (RTX2080.0 and RTX2080.1) in the list but whenever I selct the second monitor with 4K res, it …

Question is, did LM rework AI traffic models. I haven't flown v5 in a while. Just updated to 5.1 hf1. Haven't hooked back into AIGTech ai manager yet, loaded up KSAN and to my amazement I'm seeing loads of traffic with models I've never seen before. They aren't the duds I was used to before committing to AIG models. LM's traffic.bgl is all that is active. It must be a dream and I haven't awaken yet. Please tell me that I am not wrong or I am.

Does P3d v4.5 log into the internet automaticly? My internet provider has instigated a data limit, so I have to watch my usage.

Greetings. Just did night flight HF1 and EA enabled (EHAM to LOWI). I was landing at sunrise but there was no light and it looked like I was in the middle of the night. Also I did not see runway and airport lights from the distance just barely PAPI lights. I disabled EA and I saw a sunrise immediately and RWY lights came on right away. At the gate I enabled EA back again and everything went back to dark. Is it some kind of enhanced reality? Thanks
