Hello, when you go to outside views ie fly by,nearest tower ect, you can hear the same sounds as if you where in the cockpit?any ideas.thanksjames.

Through out my flights the window heat on lights will go on and off really randomly. there's not an overheat condition, the lights just turn off. What's the deal? Mitch Bowman

Hi guys! First of all, nice product! I'm a lazy reader, but i have read as much searching "hud" on the .pdf documents, but i can't seem to find what to do to get the Runway edges on the HUD. I set runway length in meters, (Over the 2,287M) Set angle of the G/S. But i can't seem to get the Edges of the runway to show. On ILS rwy 01L on Gardermoen (Cat III) It's not the product, It's me. But what am i doing wrong? OH! Have also tried to set the runway length in Feet. But it does not show.And OH! OH! I landed in 3200 vis. So I't was needed. And when i first started a topic. Hi Guys: All is well fps wise except for one issue, in the external view if I rotate around plane fps drop quite a bit and it stutters, if I leave it alone fps are fine, weird use the ******* tweak and frame limiter but was wondering if my Affinity Mask=56 is correct doesnt seem right for a 6 core, like I said all other views have great fps a little weird, any help would be appreciated, thank you. Hey all, For some reason I can not get the v-speeds to calculate in the Fmc. I kno it's sonething I am doing lol. My first flight it worked. Now I can't get them to auto calculate. Idk if I am not putting in all the info in the Fmc or what. Btw the flights I have been doin have nor been real flights. Just ksea to kbfl. The route was kbfi direct. Idk if that helps. Can anyone help?

I don't normaly fly in 3d cockpit mode. But might have to for the time being, as I am having some difficultes with 2D panels. One being the aspect ratio of the screen not being 4:3 and there not being a 2D throttle quad or radio stack. I would like to give the 3D cockpit a go, and keep and open mind. And see if I can fly with it. One problem at the moment is that the PFD is not showing up. On he displays. Any advice would be welcome.It could be a graphics issue, but hard to say at the moment I have looked throught the intro PDF and treaked the settings and CFG files. but still same problem. First let me say, the PMDG 737 is a fantastic product, everything is modelled accurately to its entirety. However, a small issue I have persists... After a complete shutdown, packs, APU and Ground Gen are disconnected, I have a loud noise, I have no idea what it is or how to stop it. I have made a short video... I've never really used the Instant Replay feature so this may be a well known limitation, but I've noticed that the flaps never show as any other position than fully up even when playing back a final approach with flaps 30 etc. Is this is a bug or is FSX Instant Replay a bit crap?

The FMC (tutorial) is quite complicated and one has the impression of jumping all over the place, but I am sure that this is not the case. So it would be useful to have a checklist that puts logic into the long list of operations in the tutorial. I was already a bit familiar with the FMC from the Capt. Sim Tutorial and I am quite familiar with SIMS and STARS, but I have to say that I lost it during the landing procedure despite frequent use of the pause button. Somehow I eventually lost the glideslope, drifted off to the side and eventually crashed (but I did manage to handland the aircraft the previous time when I had not been able to make the VNAV engage). It would be great if s.o. could help me - bought the add-on yesterday, still not able to load it properly - all displays are blank, no switches work, engines running but from the outside look shut off. Well folks, I recently experienced issues preventing me from flying the NGX, and I had to reinstall FSX. Before you go battering PMDG asking for assistance, try deleting your FSX.cfg, appdata folders, etc. The NGX operates as it should for me now on a fresh FSX install, perfect dynamics, no freezes, etc. (Not yet anyway lol). So, if there is an issue, it is your computer. I have had 5 friends who all have the NGX all have issues that they solved by adjusting things on their computers (including me, my FS has had many scenery CTDs, tons of stuff due to corrupt files). This aircraft is absolutely amazing, and, I recommend the use of Squawkbox with it, NOT FsInn/FsCopilot. M…

Hey! First of all, even with the extremely high expectations I had (the highest I've had for any game, bar HL EP3), the bird still lived up to them! Good job, PMDG. I'm kind of an audiophile and I'd like to have the most realistic audio, and volume, as possible in the game.Don't worry I'm not gonna ask how to increase the engine sound levels ;) What I'd like to know is, does anyone know the cockpit decibel levels of the real thing on the ground, so that I can calibrate my windows/headset volume to have it realistic. PMDG can have the sounds exactly as the real thing, but in the end its up to the volume of the headset, if you know what I mean. I was thinking of using my ip…

Hello there,I have searched the forums for the same problem as mine. The problem is as follows, when i click the .ptp file, to install the livery, the manager just hangs, looks like its doing something, then it stops responding. I havent been able to get any liveries for this bird installed, i've tried running it as administrator but its still does not work. I'm currently in the 737-800. According to the FCOM1 manual, the maximum ZFW for the -800 is 136,000 lbs, and the maximum TOW is 155,500 lbs. Yet the Fuel/Passenger section in the FMC is showing a MTOW of 174,700 lbs. Also, when I load the aircraft above the MZFW, the reading doesn't go amber. Should the ZFW figure go amber when over the MZFW (like the GW figure does)?And is the MTW figure for the -800 incorrect (it seems alot close to the -900 figure - 174,200 lbs)?

Where is a good place to look up for forcasted winds at cruise? I ask because the flight planner I use takes into account winds but I don't know what I should put. Especially for like a 5 hour flight. Thanks.

Can someone (preferably beta/dev team) post their FSUIPC.ini or their FSUIPC setup? I'm having some strange behaviour with VNAV/LNAV and I want to see if that is the issue, as I only just recently reformatted and haven't set it up! Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, Just a heads up here. I was testing my new toy with some failures and after a programmed VR cut of Engine 1 both fanblades disappeared in the visual model The picture was taken after a circuit followed by a flaps 15 landing as per QRH. Good evening to the PMDG team from Switzerland First of all, your products are day by day cheapper, due the currency lost of the US$ :-) In different posts you recommended do not install the FSX in the program-folder of the harddisk, instead directly on C:/FSX. Since FS9 with PMDGs 737, 747-400 and MD11 and FSX with the 747-400 and MD11 my FSX runs in the program folder without any problems. I don't think I can remove the FSX without a reinstall to the C./FSX? I don't want a reinstall of FSX with the SP1 and 2, PMDGs 747-400 and MD11. Why before never it was an issue and now it is? For me it is this important for a go or no go with NGX. Thank you very much for your answer…

Sorry to bother you again, First flight I was mucking about with the FMC, I checked out the 'About' page, and the scrolling movie thing is genius! To the point.. I was mucking about with the FMC.. and set the startup state to Cold and Dark. Now the question is, how do I put it back to normal? And also, if you wouldn't mind answering, what is NGX Short? and NGX Long? Thanks.
