PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Just downloaded and took off from FACT to FAJS with no problems what so ever. Running at around 80fps and handles, looks and sounds amazing. The sounds are incredible and trackIR makes this plane SO REALISTIC. The download went well with no hitches so I assume all is well now . Thank you PMDG!!!!

Hey guys!I don't know if any of you have the CH Throttle quadrant but I am having some issues with it.First, if I have a spoiler leveler set up, it doesn't work well. I deploy spoilers and then they never go back to their original position. I have deactivate the spoiler control on FSUIPC in order for it to go down using the keyboard.Any of you has found a workaround for this? I would like to use the spoilers using the leveler on the quadrant?Thanks much in advance.Teo

Hello, Right after passing transition altitude (18000ft in this case), I pressed the STD button on the EFIS to standardize the barometric pressure settings as usual. Before I pressed the button, FPS was at a good 23. Afterwards... well see for yourselves:

first of all, thanks for the ngx! i have now my own 737! crazy! thanks for that! a small question: i have problem with my 2D panel (already posted a topic about it, but no official statement) and sorry if it has asked before but would be nice to make it clear.. is the current 2D panel only for widescreen monitors? cause my 2D looks a bit wired , deformed...isnt there a 4:3 option..or does it come with an update maybe? thanks !

Thought I'd share a couple of tips. Apologies if others have posted similar suggestions. I have come across a few posts reporting CTDs when exiting their flights. Mine is doing the same but changing planes to something else before ending the flight stops FSX from crashing While ferrying the NG from Renton (KRNT) to Boeing Field (KBFI) I experienced two CTDs in succession. Having flown very stable flights without any issues before I assumed it was just due to flying in FSX's notorious black hole, so I commented out UsePools=0 and added PoolSize=5000000 in the [bufferPools] section of fsx.cfg. Just in case I also reduced the number of trees and buildings to 3000 and 2000 …

It looks like the default screen for the NGX is wide screen. Does anybody know where the setting is to make it 4:3 mode. As I only have 4:3 monitors? I hope to get a wide screen soon. Many thanks Julian

I've only down 3 flights so far and it seems to me that it is quite difficult to get the aircraft to slow below 200kts. On one flight I was unable to get my get my engines below 40.2%. I took off auto throttle and autopilot and the engines would not go below 40.2%. The next flight the engines dropped to about 32%ish.... In order for me to slow down I seem to have to drop gear and flaps at their max speeds, 20nm out in order to get the a/c slowed down in time to land. Anyone else have this issue ? Thanks,Chad

Hi all, First of all, thank you to PMDG for a wonderful and immersive product, it's been great so far although I have a couple of questions regarding tutorial 1 as I've yet to complete it smoothly. The biggest problem for me so far is trying to get down to the VREF+5 speed, even with the speed brakes deployed I seem to be landing way too fast. The problems seem to start early on in the STAR when I receive a "DES PATH UNACHIEVABLE" in the CDU, somewhere around NIRSI for those of you familiar with the tutorial. EDIT - FIXED THE PROBLEM BY DELETING MY FSX.CFG LOADED FSX BACK UP AND FOLLWED THE PMDG START UP GUIDE FOR THE NGX AGAIN. GETTING 20 - 25 FPS IN VC NOW ! Hello everyone, First off, I'm on my first full flight(KBFI-CYYC Westjet delivery) and this plane is just plane unbelievable!!!! Words cannot express just how awesome this aircraft is!!!!!! Congratulations PMDG on what is by far and away the best aircraft(and addon?) for FS ever!!!! So, with this highly detailed and accurate model comes with it a greater learning curve then ever before. Seems that the cockpit is not displaying what is actually happening. I have a two way rocker button set up through FSUIPC to raise/lower the gear. It sounds like it is doing what it is suppose to but the gear handle does not move in the cockpit. Try grabbing it and it wont come up. Hit the G key and up it pops. Can then grab it and bring it to centre okay. Gear down same thing, sounds like gear going down but no action on the handle. Cant move it via mouse but G again and the handle pops down. FSUIPC is sending the Gear_Up and Gear_Down commands and works a charm with all the other planes so far including the 74X.

I would gladly pay anyone that uses the Vrinsight MCP Combo insturment add-on, to develope a profile so us novice users can use this with the 737NGX, Vrinsight says if the PMDG 737NGX comes with its own SDK and its open to all. It should not be difficult to create a profile. However this is above my level of expertise... Does anyone else use the vrinsight MCP Combo? Let me know... John

A few issues I am having with the NGX. First let me say that I have followed the intro document and the only thing I am not following exactly is that I am using FSUIPC but with a profile. Also, I have done the tutorial and did not have any problems. 1) Sudden frame rate loss to 1FPS followed by crash of FSX. Sorry I cannot give more details but it was right after takeoff. 2) Using 2 screens the sound stops when you click on the second screen. I have my FMC 2D window on the second screen. Second screen is also using iGPU on my 2500K / Z68 board. This is not a problem with other addons. 3) VNAV will not engage. I forgot to engage on the ground but now flying in LVL…

Hi, First of all I have to say, you the PMDG Team have done a good gob with this plane. It is incredible.But I had one problem with it until now.When I landed in EHAM after the tutorial flight I set the revers thrust and the ABS began to brake. Then I stopped reverse thrust and disarmed the autobreak and the autopilot. And than the plan hungs. I was able to turn the knobs and move the switches but the plane didn't do anything. The sound kept running and Track IR was still working, but the plane was freezed.I don't use much other AddOns, the only one I have is TrackIR 5.My fsx.cfg is tweaked by *******'s tool, and the recomended settings from the intro are set. I was just playing around with the NGX while parked at the gate. I went to a spot view to watch the flaps extend. Pressed F7.....nothing. Went to the VC, pressed F7.....nothing. Then I remembered. Electric pumps were off. I switched them on, and there go the flaps. Just another example on how this plane is modeled.

G'day Simmers, Anyone got any tips on improving my Frame rates in the VC?I'm getting around 25fps in 2d and exterior...but VC shoots down to around 8....Any suggestions appreciated.regards John Davis

its been over a day now and i still cant activate.. i know there have been threads on this before and some people were later able to activate but i still get the error about connecting to the activation server. is there anything i can do? i submitted a ticket shortly after i purchased which was when the ddos attacks had happened on release night but still haven't been replied to. i also cant load the product support page are the servers still down?? REALLLY WANT TO FLY THIS THING!

Hi! Has anyone that reads the manuals experience hunging on his acrobat? i.e i am reading tutorial and when i pass page 62 acrobat reader freezes. i reinstalled and got the pdf again and it does the same thing.... Win7x64/Acrobat Reader X

As many have said before me, i would like to add my praise for such an excellent a/c. the wait and hype was worth it. No doubt some people have a few "issues" most will be down to finger trouble, or not reading the manual etc but at the end there may be half a dozen bugs that will get sorted in due course it is only to be expected for such a complex programme, however there has never been, in my experience,another a/c released for fsx, that offers such a depth of programming , that can replicate so accurately say 90% of the real aircraft, and yet give better frame rates than all the lesser products ,that is truely impressive.when i look back to the dispair i felt when i …

Hello chaps i cant get the 737 to work every time it opens if FSX it crashes within 5 secs ive tried everything i know including redownloading ive had trouble with the Direct x box comes up a cabinet file necessary for instalion can not be trusted please verify the cryptographic services are enabled and the file certificate is valid, as i say ive read the forum and tried it all so much so now i cant reinstall again ive used all my activations up and can anyone tell me how to get some more activations to try and get this one up and running as im at my wits end now having tried for over six hours to see what this plane looks like.Thank youIain

when i am in the vc the yaw damper is going cray and the plane is jerking left and right and when i turn it off it is fine but when i turn it back on and then move to the 2d or wing views it goes away anybody know what is going on.
