PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I'm getting a smooth 30 (externally locked) outside, 25 on the 2D panel, but when I switch to VC it slows to a choppy 15 unless I look away from the panel. Turning towards the window brings it back up to 20-25. I've seen a few people mentioning reducing the texture resolution with PS. Has that helped, or do you think it would?

Hello, i have problems with the GPSW test it stops after terrain terrain PULL UP it does not the complete test with caution terrain and 500...400... engines are running, no cautoin alert any tipps? i saw the complete test on nicks video, so it should be in the release, or?

Is it possible to remove a preprogrammed view? When i'm in the VC and using the "A" key to cycle my views the last view (forward no instruments) screws my system up. Usually I have 25 - 30 fps however if i hit this view when cycling my cursor changes state like its thinking or something and my fps drop to 8 and never return to normal. It stays like this throughout the rest of my flight in all views. So my thought is remove the view but not sure where it would be at and if its possible. Hi, I have still a problem with the Livery Manager. When I install SAS with WL it shows up in the Installed Liveries tray. But when I install Airberlin (WL) it does not show up in the Installed Liveries tray and it removes the SAS entry also. When I start FSX ther are no airliner to choose. The default PMDG versions is still there. I did download the livery files yesterday. But I have re downloaded them agin today. For 900 WL and 800 (without WL) the liveries installs correctly which is strange. / Jonas

Hey all, Quick question about probe heat. The tutorial (and the checklist) says to turn it off after you've landed. However, the "short turn" scenario loads the plane with probe heat on. Is this an error in the short-turn scenario?

when i am climbing the aircraft is fine and when it stops climbing the aircraft starts to move left and right very quickly how can i fix this and is anybody having this problem.

Straight to the subject... 1) I have installed the NGX on my laptop for a test-run prior to installing on my main machine. I do this to check the quality of *EVERY* addon i purchase, after it passes my testing (hey, it's my PC) i then uninstall it and reinstall on the main computer. My question is: - Will i retrieve the used activation back to be used again when i install it on my main machine? Also, i might reinstall the product 1 or 2 times a year, depending on the simulator performance or "issues" that might come around - Is this a problem in the future, with further activations being used? 2) Weather radar. So I been flying this thing here, and I have about 10 hours on my WestJet 738 here, I notice each flight my oil quantity going down. I am down to 83% in the right engine, and 87% in the left. Which I find neat as all get out. Cept for one problem, I don't know how to top them off? By the time my 500 hour maintenance is due (in another 400 hours), I think my turbines are gonna be crispy critters. I looked in the engine maintenance page, and all I see is service, assuming the 500 hour service, I don't want to do a 500 hour service just to fill the engines up with oil. Hi All, A friend pointed me to the fact that when HDG UP is selected, the selected heading bug does not appear below the current heading pointer with a side wind. I know as with the release of a new product, things never go as planned, as there are web site issues, lots of technical support questions, to answer, but you guys should give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done. PMDG has certainly raised the bar as far as as modeling of FSX aircraft. The 737NGX is a piece of art as nothing was left to spare as every detail has been modeled. Great job!

Team, the NGX is a flagship of Flight Simulators. This simulation is so massive it goes steps beyond what could be considered a stand-alone Flight Simulator. After completing a flight in the NGX I hoped outside and decided to explore all of the animations: From the Flap gear that spins inside the Flap Farring (sp) to the way the Leading Edge Flaps fold inward with flawless style. Hi! I really like the performance of the 2d panel but one thing is a problem, to me the view outside is too high(or low, i dont know how to describe it)... when I am taxiing, its impossible to see, because all you see is straight outisde, almost no point of the taxiway is visible...I have tried to change the viewpoint in FSX but I cant get it right...have anyone had the same problem and solved it? These seem to have a mind of their own? I haven't had time to get to that section of the manual but the ON lights keep going off in flight? Is this normal behavior for this system or a glitch?

So I admit... I have not started any tutorials for this bird. I have been simply winging it to explore for a few days... Came across something that I am not 100% sure on, but it seems off to me. I programmed the FMC for a short flight from KRNT to KBFI. If i set my cruise altitude to 5000', i get T/C, a cruising distance, then T/D. However... If i set my cruise altitude to 5100', i get T/C directly followed by a T/D. I have done this a few different times, and it always happens with two altitudes 100' apart, but not always 5000' and 5100'. Sometimes it will be 4800' and 4900', or 5300' and 5400'. Let me preface this by saying I have a very antiquated system, but I don't think that's the problem here. I load the NGX and start using the VC with no problems. I go through with normal preflight, however as I'm doing this, the sim gets progressively slower until roughly around the time when I take off and then it becomes a slide show. Ultimately, this culminates in a CTD where upon I get a warning that says something to the effect of the "display driver" has failed and the desktop looks like an old Commodore 64. Hey guys,I have already downloaded the NGX, but unfortunately I won't have the time to get in it to at least monday evening.However I've got the Saitek X52 Pro Flight Joystick without any pedals. As I'm almost flying big birds like MD-11 or the NGX (hopefully soon) I'm looking for a yoke instead of my joystik, perhaps also pedals.After I've been searching for "the right" one for two weeks or so, I haven't found it yet. I read a lot about the CH Eclipse and the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, I think they are the most popular ones, because they are the cheaper ones. Hiya, Going through a startup from cold and dark. Got the APU up and running and entered flightplan, but the CDU isn't showing any figures for payload or fuel (it shows all the other text and I can press 2/3 full or whatever and there's a slight bump as the load changes). Fuel quantity changes on the upper DU. And now when I go back to the menu page of the CDU there's no longer an FMC option.Where am I going wrong?
