Hi,PMDG, GREAT JOB! What a plane! It al worked fine!Until, doing the introduction manual, i deleted/auto-installed the FSUIPC4ini.cfg.After that, when i start my FSX with 737NGX i couldn`t use the mouse in Virtual Cockpit to rotate or push buttons.Re-installed the back-uped fsuipc4ini.cfg, but no succes.In F/O window it al works fine. After loading PMDG-MD11, and then 737-800 it works fine as well. I think it`s a simple solution...but i can`t find it.Any suggestions? (ofcourse re-installed fsuipc and 737ngx ) Thnx Pete

After avoiding the initial mess after the release, I purchased the NGX. Download was fast. The installation and activation was easy as usual. Downloaded and installed the SAS liveries. No problems Configured EZDOK. I then took the lady for a short trip from ESMS to ESGG. No problems to setup fuel, payload and the FMC. Smooth take off. Engaged LNAV and VNAV and let the AP take me all the way to ESGG and ended the flight with a very nice autoland. PMDG have done it again! Produced an excellent aircraft that is top notch. The quality is fantastic (my full name is Ulf Bjarke)

My first flight (BFI-DEN) was perfect. Second flight is DEN-SLC, or at least I'd like it to be. Here's my problem. I am using the same plane (Delta with WLs) for the flight. Everything is set up properly (I'm pretty sure). FMC is set up, Runway 25, ROCKI7 EKR LEAHY3 BOAGY.ILS34R. I line up and press TO/GA, everything works properly. At EXACTLY 60kts, two things happen: The sim stops accepting inputs from my rudder, throttles, yoke. The DUs freeze. I cannot check for failures because the Aircraft page of the settings is blank. Hi, The following speaks for itself. o_O What I did: I started up, no probs. Flew a few circuits playing with the HGS. No probs. Set up for a visual app in the following way: FMS - EGLL to EGLL Dep. RW27R (nothing else). Arr. RW27R (nothing else, not ILS or RNAV), Entered extended center-line and slope. Legs - cleared the DISCO by copying theg first leg of the FP into it. Completed TAKEOFF page and configured MCP. HUGS set to IMC/VMC and pre-flighted with runway length and elevation. FMA displayed ARM | HDG | <BLANK> Hit TOGA Climbed out. Hi, Just wanted to say "EXCELLENT WORK!" and that I'm really enjoying the NGX. The VC is just breath-taking. I started FS last night in the late evening, and didn't set it to day time as I was enjoying the lighting too much. Only today did I get a chance to really look at the detail in the VC and external! I'm loving the strobe lighting effects. It really adds to night-time ops. The systems are outstanding, too. Fluid, and they "just work". Very nice!!! The sound package just rounds it out brilliantly. Congratulations PMDG for a job well done on the NGX! After successfully installing and activating, have done a successful flight after going through the product documentation. One quick question: Where can I download the liveries?

Posted this in the livery request thread so sorry for cross-posting but since I'm not sure if that thread is meant only for new livery requests I thought I post separately as well.Downloaded the SAS "Freja Viking" livery and it looks great and I'm very happy it was made but found a minor issue, the regnr on the plate in the v/c reads LN-RRW but the correct regnr for should be LN-RRH.Minor indeed but would be great if it could be corrected and without any knowledge myself when it comes to creating liveries I guess it's a quick thing to correct...?

I really don't use them, except the pop up of the mcp, but I find with the ngx its really easy to turn the heading and alt knobs so I really don't use it either anymore, my question, is it possible for me to dump all the 2d panels from my ngx installation? And would doing so have any positive impact on the fps in the VC? My frames aren't bad but any little bit help's.

Hi to all,I just installed the NGX and followed all the instructions of the intriduction manual (modification to fsx.cfg and flight simulator settings), but still I have blurred textures in the VC: Is there someone else that experienced the same issue? PMDG Staff... Great product! I only had a limited time yesterday to fly the new NGX, but it was GREAT! However, two issues of concern: 1. After installing NGX, other aircraft add-on's, e.g. PMDG B747X and Level D, no longer work. Selecting either aircraft generates these error messages: Level D: "Panel Initialization Failure. Reinstall Level D Simulations B767-300" PMDG B747X: "PMDG_747400_Main.DLL cannot find PMDGOptions.DLL", "PMDG_747_ACS.DLL cannot find PMDGOptions.DLL", and "PMDG_747400_Overhead.DLL cannot find PMDGOptions.DLL" Once each of these error messages is acknowledged, an FSX "Fatal Error" message is posted and the program CTDs. First of all, thank you PMDG for delivering such a wonderful product! This is definitely the best ever addon developed for FSX, as advertised! :) However, there seems to be a problem when I am trying to add the Feelthere MAP! to the plane. There is a configurator in which I can select which planes I want to install the MAP function too. It worked fine with the PMDG 744. For the NGX, it only shows the -800NGX non winglets, the other variants are not shown at all. Even after selecting the -800NGX to install, it comes out as nothing again. Has this got to do with the aircraft.cfg being "read only"? I've checked all 4 aircraft.cfg and the "read only" box is not checked.

Is this normal? It's the 16R ILS approach into PAE. The runway centerline extension and the magenta line should be on top of each other, right? I'm using the navdata that came with the NGX, I have the magnetic variation fix (pinned in the general forum) applied, and I have used Flight1's registry repair to make sure my registry is working. Any other suggestions?

Awesome job guys! I was just was on a real world ng yesterday and the sounds were spot on, as is the flight deck. Smoothest flying FSX plane in my experience as well, even when fps are lower.I never realized what a beast the 73ng is to slow down on approach. You really need to plan ahead. Hi , When i use the livery manager to install the klm 800 winglets livery it gets installed into the 800 folder not the 800 wl folder , the same with the 900 wl liverys , they are installed into the 900 folder without winglets , it doesn't make a difference if i instal them one at a time or a few together . I normally only load dll.xml files for add ons I am using that flight. So, I have PMDG Options, PMDG Events and PMDG Sounds set to disabled unless I am flying the MD11, J4100, etc. Are any ofthese modules required for the NGX? I know PMDG HUD interface is required, but wondering about the others. So far the NGX seems fine w/o them, but starting some longer flights now . . . Thank you for any help. Joe

Brand new system, fresh clean and previously stable running install using bojotes tweaks, REX, ORBX at KBFI. WIn7XP 64-bit, Specs in sig Everything loaded normally, got preflight done, pushed out and noticed the tail texture greyed out, same with engine textures.. shortly after when I went to start engines, the screens in the VC froze, shortly after I got a you've run out of resources message. Unhandled exception has occured Restarted, loaded up at BFI with everything already running on the runway, just put the pedal to the medal, and shortly after becoming airborne, exterior textures greyed out again,and climbing thru 9000 I got another CTD. This time with no VC screens…

Hi. I've sucessfully purchased and installed the NGX and I'd just like to say, it's an amazing product. So I decided to install some liveries onto it. I opened the Livery Manager, selected the aircraft variant, clicked on 'Select Livery to Install' and navigated to the .ptp file of the livery. I clicked 'Open' and boom! I get a message: "PMDG_Livery_Manager.exe has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...". Happens every time. Can you help me? Cheers.

Not sure what happened to my other post but I have 2 questions. Still searching through all the manuals but have not found anything that answers my questions. 1 is there a way to use the HUD with the 2d Panel? 2 will I need to buy a training manual or something from Angle of Attack that shows a Cold and Dark startup tutorial? I am not a noob, and have over 7000 hours in the 767, 747, and MD-11. Have setup everything in the FMC for aircraft but with all the systems modeled in the 737-NGX its gonna take awhile to figure out how to do a Cold and Dark startup in the proper order. What made it easy in the past with the 747-400 was there were videos showing step by step procedu…

If you read page 4 of the tutorial that came with the 737 NGX it says that the second tutorial due to be released after the base package release will contain all the procedures for a cold and dark startup. Relax :)
