Hello everyone,I was waiting for years for the PMDG 737NGX and now, I'm about to cry....FSX does not load the free flight and crashes and closes immediatly! When I run the free flight, the loading window appears, but remains empty (no progession bar). Then a few seconds later, FSX closes.I do not have this problem with the 747-400, the MD11 or the JS41 that work perfectly. All my other addons work perfectly too ...I do not understand.I uninstalled and reinstalled the 737NGX, but this does not change: Unable to load the flight.I just managed to get it to work twice in fifty attempts.Someone there a solution? In advance, thank you very much.

When setting the payload, the PAX count will not go below 7. Normal? The plan/fuel line doesn't seem to be working properly. Upon loading the airplane with 11945 pounds through the FMS, and this being displayed properly by the FMS in the fuel loading screen, the plan/fuel line displays ----/12.2, 300 pounds more than the actual load. I have the default transition altitude set to 18000, but the FMS defaults to 17000.

LINDA has now a "quick and dirty" module for the NGX which you could assign to any hardware or the VRinsight MCP Combo. MCP is complete functionalExternal and internal lightswarningsEFIS etc Have a slight look into the LINDA downloads section. Have fun!

Several of us are experiencing degraded FPS performance with this add-on, so through trial and error I have done the following: http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html allow this utility to recommend changes to your fsx.cfg. Real simple, and it provides you with a modded copy as well as a backup copy of your current fsx.cfg file. Then: download the FPS limiter that has a link along with the fsx.cfg recommendations. Make sure you have java installed and use it. Then you may have to sacrifice a little autogen scenery and reduce your cloud draw distance. I have found that a steady 30fps is very sufficient for FSX, and that users reporting anything above 60FPS are not actually seein…

Also if anyone will be kind enough out there to upload a tutorial on youtube on this amazing aircraft it would be greatly appreciated.... especially in the FMC :). Thanks AdnanSomewhere near YMML

Load up any PMDG NGX into a 'new flight' and crash into anything with crashes enabled - fatal error every time (I know it's funny but really it's not). Create a new flight and end that unsaved flight - fatal error. Tried with default aircraft - no CTD. Also, loading a previously saved flight - end flight no CTD or fatal error. This includes MSFS loaded flights and switching aircraft. MSFS FSX, Accel

Howdy, Is it possible to always show the N1 reference, so when the engines are shut down it would be ...,. where the D-TO etc. appears and then N1 reference e.g. 93.7 when applicable. You can see it just slightly in this picture; refer to the EICAS.

Hey guys. I was planning on a weekend away to visit my dad after an operation this weekend but that has fell through. So I will be around this weekend if anyone would like get together for a Vatsim flight. We could meet up on TS. I can try and answer some questions if anyone has any about the 737. Perhaps plan a 3 hour leg or something. Let me know if anyone is still interested in doing something like this. Just post on here if you are. Take care all.JackColwill

I have been with FS since the very first version and I have to say that this is most definitely as real as it gets. The amount of work and attention to detail that has gone into this product is clearly evident and I would like to thank the PMDG Team for their efforts. Regards Adrian

Hi guys,I am not sure if any body else has this problem, but here goes. The reference N1 numbers for my engines are showing different values for each other. if I select an Assumed temperature, then one engine shows the reduced thrust N1 while the other shows the full thrust N1 value. For example, if the full thrust N1 is say 94.6 and reduced is say, 92.4. One engine shows 94.6 and the other 92.4. Is this a bug or is this how it is on the real aircraft ?Cheers,Dinshaw Parakh.

Hey guys, Once again, thanks for this master piece :) My question to you is this: Can you post some suggestions for the sensitivity settings for the Saitek Pro yoke and Rudder Pedals ? I know that there are so many different hardware controllers out there, it is impossible to satisfy everyone. I also realize that even if two people have the same hardware controller, the wear and tear will be different. Even then, is it possible to give us some ball park figures to set our Saitek controllers sensitivity through FS. I know lots of folks must be setting their sensitivity through FSUIPC as well which adds further variables to the mix :) Cheers and happy landings, Dinshaw Para…

That was my reaction when I loaded up the NGX for the first time. I waited patiently for so long, with all the hype about expected good performance for the NGX. Well, the J41 actually gets 30% better frames for me than the NGX. How can this be? Oh sure, the NGX has good performance from the 2D panel, but switch to VC and it's "Oh NO"! The product looks great and sounds great, but I wish I hadn't bought into all the hype of good performance. This product really needs an i5 or i7 processor; my 3 year-old Q9300 is not a good match for this product. Before someone suggests it, I've done the tweaks made famous over the past year, so that's not been ignored.

Hello Everyone- Does anyone have any suggestions for a way to do fuel calculations for the 737NGX? I have found this one (http://fuel.aerotexas.com/). However, it does not appear to be that accurate and you can't enter in load info, etc. -Thanks

these are the issues I have found and really not a big deal but I'm sure there is a reason why or a coming fix. 1) for some reason toga does not lock the auto throttle on takeoff N1. This is how I thought it was done, this is when ready for takeoff and FMC is configered, AT on, FD on, flaps set, hit the hidden takeoff button, firewall throttle and then hit the N1 button on the MCP. Well when I'm on takeoff roll engines never capture the N1 bug it bypasses and engines overrun the N1 bug forcing me to back off on the throttle so I'm pretty sure thats me not doing something right. What is the right way? 2)no matter how hard I look cant find a checklist, where is it? thankful…

I have read through most of the manuals that come with the 737-NGX but have not seen a tutorial or section devoted on how to start the 737-NGX from Cold and Dark Cockpit. Will I need to purchase something from Angle of Attack that goes through the Complete cockpit Setup? Or is it included somewhere in the Manuals and I havent come across it yet? The other Question is will the HUD only work in Virtual Cockpit mode or is there a way to get it to work with the 2d Panel? I have not seen an option yet that brings it up in the 2d panel. If anyone knows how to get it to show up on the 2d panel please let me know how. Thanks....

Hey all, just wanted to share my experience. My system specs: Q8200 @ 2.33GHz, 4GB DDR2, Nvidia 9500GT (driver 275.33) running Win7 32bit. Using recommended settings according to the manual, on a 1440x900 (4:3) monitor.FSX traffic & autogen disabled.Rest of the sliders almost at max.Using ******* Altuve's excellent tips & shader mod.Frame rate between 12.5 to 22 in the VC. On 2d panel it rarely drops below 20.Graphic issues found (mostly due to the low-end GPU): long redraws when switching views (especially to spot view or VC). Will try lower resolution VC textures tomorrow.Other issues which I've encountered a few times but been unable to reproduce: FSX process c…

Seems when I load an approach that contains a course reversal, it doesn't actually fly it and I end up coming in waaay to high and have to go around manually. Am I missing something or are you expected to hand fly that portion? Any input greatly appreciated!
