I figure i give some of you a idea to try and add more realisim into the simulation .Pretty offten in real life i find myself hand flying a departure or a App . why not forget that AP and CDU for some time grab some charts for your home airport take a good look at it and practice a bit more to sharpen your skills and to also make sure that you are more than just READY for that next flight on Vatsim ??? .....

Currently flying from KTPA to KBOS, I couldn't figure out how to get VNAV to turn on but I may have not put in everything necessary, and had a rather intense moment when I realized my aircraft was descending from 2,000ft to who knew where, when I realized, I had entered in the crz altitude to 1,800 instead of 18,000... whoops, changed it and added an extra 0. No real problems noticed yet. I did notice though that when I turned on progressive taxi (I'm still learning taxiing) that it doesn't show up. at present I'm getting about 40-50fps, and no jerks or stutters even in Tampa. Just trying to work out why there is no longer a validation page whilst doing the install ?Had all firewalls down to try and activate but no success.Does the activation happen after or during the install ? Thanks Rick

Not a bug just a question. I'm not a real NG pilot but I'm noticing on turning on the APU bleed and then turning off the Packs duct pressure is only around 10 psi. The engines start fine and its not an issue but I thought you would need at least 30psi duct pressure to start the engines with the APU. Can anybody correct me or advise what I might be doing wrong or can the -800 start with 10 psi duct pressure.

NGX + advance weather conditions= crazy rolling from one wing to another. Anyone experienced something similar? Weather: 35kt crosswind at cruise, AP mode: VNAV + HDG SEL or LNAV (doesnt matter), aircraft is banking 15-20 degree to one side, and then go 15-20 degrees to another side for about 30min now. Well, My first time in the NGX, I start cold and dark, get comfortable, and set everything up for a few touch-and-goes. Well, everything was perfect, until I landed. I did a CAT3, flap 40, autobreak 1 landing, and when I hit the ground I started to come to a gradual stop, however, even after I disengaged the auto breaks, I came to a complete stop on the active runway. I went to 100% N1 and I COULDN'T MOVE AT ALL, just sat there at full throttle. It was as if the chocks were in place, but they weren't. I have tried to do landing's again and again and the exact same thing keeps happening. I cant taxi or do anything after I touch the ground, I just sit there. Everything work…

OK, my request is for an enhancenement to change the keystroke availability to GEAR UP and GEAR DOWN rather than the current GEAR UP/DOWN option. I have my system so set up , and, quite frankly will likely hit gear down at least twice in confirmation. I'm running Win7 64 bit. I've installed the C+++ and Direct X as admin. I installed 737NGX as admin. I've repaired, reinstalled, uninstalled, repaired, uninstalled etc 3 times each now and the same issue. In cabin (cockpit) mode the shift+1 and shift+9 keys instruments don't appear. In saying that everything else works!! When in 2D mode only shif+1 works and shift+9 is black. However after transferring from 2D to 3D, the shift+1 works, however locks with the digits from the 2D mode!! Apart from that, everything else works perfect, thus far. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same or similar problems. I don't know what else to do...grrrrrrr

1) You cant hear the APU start. Once you start it, even if start up is finished there is not sound coming from them. The only way I have found you can get sound from them is if you change camera to spot then to inside the VC, only then can you hear the apu.2) after ending the flight and reloading the flight again, I get a "skeleton" plane and everything is grey in the VC.3) If fsx becomes and inactive window and another window is the active, then you click on fsx in the background and it becomes the active window, all sound relating to the ngx ceases and i cannot operate anything (i.e cdu is frozen, displays are frozen, but i cant operate the switches. Everyone said FPS was great! yeah...nah. Im getting about 5-15fps on default scenery in the day with display settings mostly at the middle to bottom.To put this into context, i used to get 25-30 fps in addon scenery on mid to high settings. Seriously? Why has the NGX stolen so many fps?AND, i get random crashes sometimes with out of memory error which I very rarely got before, now its all the time.Any help appreciated! Hi, Not sure if this has been picked up already but some of the call outs are missing, for example the 500 call out, 400 call out, 300, 200,100 and so on. I have also used the EGPWS test button and the sounds are missing there are only some of them there. Hope you can help

Hello All, I just wanted to let everyone know that once the purchase is complete, which took 20 min, the download is surprisingly fast. My Fios connection gave me around 1.8 MegaBYTES per second, which means 4-8 minutes to download (it fluctuates). I can't wait to fly this baby!! Andrew Blan

Got the NGX installed, and managed a succesfull flight today, but now I try a cold and dark startup now and things aren't functioning properly. I was setting up my CDU, and there's things missing and errors.
