Thank you PMDG! I was lucky enough to be one of the first to download the NGX last night when they went live. I installed the program with no issues at all and fired up FSX use ASE for a flight from KLIT to KDFW. I have dreamteam's KDFW addon installed. Without reading any of the manuals or even the intro package, I was able to start (from cold & dark) the NGX and fly the route (LIT.BYP w/ RWY 17C approach). The interface is very intuitive. The only thing for which I spent any significant time searching was releasing the wheel chocks. I used the HUGS for the approach and what an asset it is! Well just touched down in Alicante. WOW guy's love the wing views aswell. Very clever how you managed to incorporate the aditional interior sound for passenger views ummmmmm... My heart melts when i give her some stick on take off music to my eyes.

Has any one experienced problems after opening up an item from the overhead menu then returning to flight. For example I will open up world select map then if I click ok or cancel to return to the sim all I get is a blank screen with sound. Then after a few seconds I get a CTD. I prolly get this 8 times out of 10. Did not have this problem till I installed NGX. Im using w7 64bit on an 2500k based machine. FSX is on its own HD.

Happened every time now, as soon as I select APR for my destination airport I get a CTD.... with the code BEX. Any ideas? Can't fly an approach with it like this... Thanks

Hello,I would just like to know if there is any possibility to activate the product from an other computer than the NGX is installed?I have two computers, one for my internet stuff and the other one just for FSX...now I am reading that everybody activates his NGX within FSX...but what about people like me, who don't have internet on their FSX computer?Thank you very much...

First issue i am having is with the direct x intall after installing the ngx. I am running on vista anyone help me out with updating that if i need to. Second issue i am having is there is no load manager to help load fuel and get zfw etc with the ngx. When you use fspassengers to help load fuel it makes the pfd and the fuel gauges go nuts and just start freaking out. How do you load fuel without that happening. I also tried aircraft payload and fuel in fsx. It didnt do it either.ThanksTyson

Hi, I've been trying to work this thing since last night and can't seem to get it to work. When I verify the speeds in the CDU, it doesn't update on the PFD. Everything else in the CDU is programmed. I already submitted a ticket for this and thought I should ask here for user input. I've attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about. Any suggestions? Kind of lost here and a little tired.

My 2d cockpit is really blurry cant even read nose gear on the lights overhead text is almost unreadable. Frames are good resolution is 1280-1042-32. Anybody?

HiI like a lot of people have had to wait a while to activate my NGX. I decided to use the time to read PMDG's introduction manual. It is well written and clearly shows what a great product this is. I guess if I had activated straight away I would have missed out on a lot of useful information, especially as I would have flown her straight away. So my wait has proved to be very productive in that I have enjoyed "the silver lining". Thanks PMDG for a great product and I hope you can sort out the issues caused by a few misguided people. BTW I have now activated my product.

I know you are swamped PMDG! I just wanted to point out me and a friend of mine that bought this sim cant get the 2nd DU brightness to adjust. You guys put this great overbright effect in but when you cant dim its pretty distracting.

Dear PMDG team and simmers, I kindly ask your help to understand why my landing pitch is too high... I got 7.5 degrees instead of usually 3 degrees while approaching an airport with flap 40 and 118 knots. Despite of this question all the flight was fine (take-off, cruise an landing). So, I am sitting in the VC at KBFI and and try to get the NGX running from Cold & Dark. After turning on BATT & STBY PWR I connect Ground Power and start hacking away on the CDU. I enter a flightplan KBFI/KBFI with a VOR and SID/STARS of/to runway 31L. After a few moments the panels/the CDU freeze up, sort of. It is still possible to enter data but it won't show in the bottom line until I switch pages. The mode selector becomes stuck as well (not the switch, but the DU). I can still change the map scale, but I can't switch to another mode (APP/VOR/...etc). The product activated successfully and for a short time everythings works. Anybody with a solution? Thank yo…

Hi PMDG and all pilots of the NGX, As Robert and Vin told me when I met them personally that the NGX would be exceptional, I can assure you it REALLY is. I've seen the screenshots during development and beta stages including Nick's videos. I'm not a FS rookie (already since MS FS2.0 in the early '80s) and I am a huge MD-11 lover ..... Now I'm speechless, never seen such a bird like this NGX, unbelievable, not comparable with the previous NG. That absolutely doesn't mean that I'll no longer fly the MD-11, on the contrary, hehe. First of all I'd like to congratulate PMDG for a great aircraft. I've only completed one flight so far, but I've not been disappointed. I fly for a VA which uses kAcars tracking software to log our flights. Our version also tracks things like flap deployment, landing rates, bank angle and lights. I found this afternoon that the Beacon Light on the NGX seems to generate an ON/OFF flag every time the light flashes. It's almost like turning the switch on and off every time! I haven't found this to be the case in the PMDG 747, but it really makes for some very large flight logs!?! If you watch the inboard right engine (didnt check left yet) and hit reverse thrust you will notice a little thing not moving with the thrust reverser as it should and goes into the engine, I found this on the 800WL so far!

I downloaded the PMDG-737NGX and noticed that the descriptions on theknobs are hard to read.Some are next to impossible to figure out. Is there a way to adjust this somehow ? If not then I must say that thisaspect of the PMDG-737NGX is somewhat disappointing. Hubert Werni

Because so much trouble to activate, I suggest that PMDG holds momentarily the sale of NGX until all who have already purchased can be activated. Otherwise the excess connections will continue with more and more customers.I think it's a fair idea for those who already bought. Also at that time PMDG can solve the problem of connections.Just an idea because I'm desperate dozens of failed attempts. JHerrera

Guys, first of all: The NG is outstanding! What a Cockpit, what a fusselage, well done! But I´ve got some serious problems with your beauty! The first time my problem occured was when I changed from the window mode to the full window mode. The second time , when I was standing on the Ground. I just left shortly to make some food but when I came back the problem occured again! The problem is: Whatever I press - nothing happens. Eg. the alt key---> No alt-bar!
