Hi,Which option would you recommend for the NGX : SP2 or Acceleration ?Thank you

So, I downloaded the NGX last night, and activated it. Love it. It's a Masterpiece. I'm thinking of formatting the HD this weekend, and doing a fresh install. What happens, when I install the NGX again, and try to Re-Activate? Will it go smooth, or is something else required, since I've already activated it. (about 14hours now) Appreciate the info.

Greetings all, I've noticed an issue while looking around the VC. When I zoom into the center pedestal, especially the middle (where the HUGS control and transponder are located, I'm getting a horizontal grey strip that partially covers things up. This strip is the same texture as the pilots seat cushion. Any idea what's going on, and how to fix this? Thanks.

Hello PMDG!In the QRH that ships with the NGX, I can only find information for the 800 under "Performance In-Flight" (PI-QRH). It seems the same information for the 900 and the 900ERW is not included (PI-QRH.40.1 and PI-QRH.50.1 respectively). Are there any plans to include these in a future update?Thanks Enrique Vaamonde

Is it possible to swap a planes .ini file and still have it work? For example if I were fly tail number N738PM and when finished send the N738PM.ini to another member of my VA. Assuming the member also has the PMDG 737NGX, same livery, et. el. could that member then save N738PM.ini and continue to rack up hours on that airframe? If so this has some amazing potential for VA's and those members who are looking for greater reality.

For some reason in the email I recieved with the download link I got two activation keys, upon initial load-up of the NGX it accepted the first code I gave it, now I've been experiencing freezes and visual problems, my other post about those is at this link: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/341484-fsx-freezes/page__p__2041093#entry2041093 Is that normal to not ask for reactivation? saw the activation was working but when I tried i got the "max tries" turn down

Hi all, I'm not quite sure if I'm doing anything wrong here, but I've got a weird behavior in regards to the plan mode and after that pretty much all the custom (PMDG specific) options in the CDU. So first of here's what I'm doing:- Entering the flight plan in the RTE, DEP/ARR pages, including SID/STAR, approaches and runways (I know it's not realistic to enter the arrival information before flying, but when you fly without any weather for the initial testing and learning - why not? ;) )- then I'm activating and executing the plan in RTE- Now I'm switching to to plan mode to see if the flight plan will work like this, as far as I'm remembering from all the Boeing planes y…

Hi all, Could someomne please point me in the direction of an external FPS limiter, As if I set FPS in FSX to say 30 they stay way below this ( 15-18) But if I set it to unlimited they jump around from18-45fps and it all looks vert jerky. Would one of these external FPS limiter help me. Mark

Literally nothing. Even when I select individual panels such as using shift + 4 to bring up the aft electronic panel, no movement of dials at all. Have reinstalled NGX to no avail. I use Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks for any help Rob

Hello folks, first of all I'm impressed by the add-on, needless to say, but this topic isn't exactly about that. FPS are horrible to say the least, it works a little bit but eventually CTDs, well the video card has been making problems since months already, giving artefacts, stripes and colored dots even just running the OS (Win7 64). FSX gives annoying 3D artefacts, either outside in the scenery or even inside the VC (very helpful). BSODs have happened occasionally, obviously I can't prove the card has been causing them but I certainly had such a thought. I know my sys isn't really that great but these are some basic specs: HP computer (don't know which one, at least not…

Hi Just a short question, (sorry for opening an entire Thread just for that): I searched in the manuals for some tables containing information on Flap settings and Assumed Temp settings for takeoff depending on wheight of the aircraft etc...Is there anything like that in the manuals? I just installed the NGX. I also downloaded all of the liveries but the Manager doesn't install the -900WL properly. All other liveries installs just fine, however I press on 900NGX WL and I'm sure that I install the correct liveries, but they show up under 900NGX and when I try to load the aircrafts it says that it failed to startup the flight model.

Hello,i've just purchased the PMDG 737NGX Base Package. I downloaded and installed it, no problems. When I want to start up FSX, and choose the plane, it's obviously asking for a product activation code. But where do I find this? So I took a look in my order confirmation e-mail, and there was a code, being in 6 segments, of four number/letters each, starting with "NGX...-" Do I have the right code? I tried it and it said. "Activation server not working, please check your internet connection". I click OK and a next box appeared saying "You do not have a valid license for this product installed", and then FSX shuts down. Is this just the problem everyone is having with th…

I posted earlier about this and I just can't seem to track the thread down, even searched and looked through my content, anyways their is a just a 2d popup of the mcp, Im not sure if there is an easier way to display it but I just switched it around with the fire protection pop up in the panel cfg, so now when I press the kb command shift 5 it displays just the mcp, pretty handy for flying in the vc

anyone know how I can fix this? I only get the Thrust reverser on the left side. The throttles are just fine but I use F2 for reverse and it does not do right side. The throttles are properly Paired (E then 1 then 2) and move forward together when I press F3. I reset FSUIPC so i dont think its that. HelpThanks

very big sound problemWhen I look out the virtual cockpit, I can not hear any engine sound.I turn to the direction of the cockpit wall / cab, I hear the sound.The same with the exterior views. I look forward on by plane, I hear from the side and rear, not the engines.work only in the window seat view you can hear the engine sound problems.All other sounds are there.I deleted the 737NGX ever installed ... and again without success.I need help!

Just installed the NGX. Started up FSX and selected the NGX 800 WL. It started to load the aircraft but stopped and asked for a "product activation code". Tried the codes that came with the purchase email, but that didn't work. Where is this code?

I wonder what I am doing wrong. I can still VNAV climb with the nose down. I have made sure Active Sky is running just fine, pressure and temps all fine. I am not sure what's up, as I have my antivirus off, everything setup (right I think?) flaps up, gear up, etc. No issues, jsut nose down climb. I am still excited as I dealt with my first NG quirk today. The overwing exits were showing that they were open because it was hot and I think the metal expanded. I read the QRH section, and elected to depart anyway, and realized that once I had the pressurization set and we were up to about 3000, the doors were indicating closed;. Hello,First of all a huge thank you for the PMDG Staff, your Plane is awesome!I want to ask if anyone exept me have disconnects on Servers with more them. 50 Players.I always have a disconnect after 3-4 Minutes, i asked the Server Host to turn off any Type of Bot and Restriction but it doesnt help, all Players with a 737 ngx get disconnected.Another Thing is that i hear the callouts for the Radio Altimeter on an Approach but no other GPWS warning, Even if i Fly intentionaly Close to the Ground.Greetings Chris

I cant seem to get the inboard DU on the pilots side to change back to any other mode once ive put it in PLN mode, anyone any ideas?
