PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I couldn't activate my NGX because my firewall blocks all outbound ports except for http, https, dns etc. I had to open TCP Port 8888 OUTBOUND to activate my NGX. Thought I'd let you know :)

Hello, I have some Problems with this new Baby.Everytime I start at the Gate, the Parking Brake is set. But I can't put it off. When the Parking Brake is off in the Cockpit (click with mouse on the brake in the pedalstal), the red FS-Message is still at the bottom. When I Press the (.) key, nothing appears. Also when I press the brakes with my Rudder Pedals.. So I cant move and fly this aircraft. Hey PMDG Trying out the repaint in the Copa 738WL and I am getting terrible climb performance. at FL230 with a gross weight of 128.1lbs and cannot climb really. In the AOA teamspeak we did some troubleshooting and it seems that I am doing everything right but just cant get any climb performance. I am wondering if there might be some issue with a cfg??? People flying the Alaska repaint (and a heavier gross weight than me) has better climb performance than me which makes me wonder if there is something inside the repaints...

Sitting on tarmac at JFK with heavy AI traffic in the VC: NGX : 10 - 16747-400: 12 - 17MD11 : 13 - 17JS41: 15 - 18 I'm not seeing much difference between the 747, MD11, and NGX. I have noticed that the FPS value with the NGX loaded does seem to bounce around more than with the others. First off, reason I'm posting my NGX experience is to hopefully get some positive feed back to better my gameplay / flight sim experience with the new 737NGX. I'm not here to knock PMGD nor offend the PMGD hard cores here. Also, we can leave out the feud between Intel/AMD, Nvidia/ATI set up. My specs is located under my sig. After installation I fired up FSX, looked for the NGX and there she was, parked in my hanger. After I selected the 737NGX and hit "Okay", when returing to the main screen, it was black. I waited (about 1 min. or so) then the NGX came up on the splash screen but transparent. I waited again and the plane appeared . Perhaps because it's a new s/w …

First after i downloaded it, it worked fine. Engine was up and running. I landed, testet some, then i shot down the engines(ctrl+shift+f1) and went fora sleep. Then, starting up today i fine that the engine is OFF. I grab the fmc and use the startup states short,both on panel and onthe startup state menu. It doesnt work. Then i try to start the engines with a CTRL+E. Nothing working. I try to goto the window panel, choicingaddon-pmdg737, and set states to Before taxing. Nothing happens. I reinstalled it. Installed it, but its the same problem, on all of the planes. I use vista 32. Not the best pc spec. I do have ifly whick works fine. No problemothere, so this is a pmdg 7…

While I was on test TNCE - KMIA, I wanted to try a two engines out approach to TIST. For that, I cutoff two engines almost at the same time. Was about FL340 when I cutoff both engines still climbing to CRZ alt of FL360. Then this happened. Seems like the piece of rubber (or whatever it is, sorry) wanted to reach eternity. I5 661, 4 GB Ram, ATI HD4600, Win7 64 bit, FSX Acceleration Oh by the way, it was a very good landing using HGS... Love this.

to fix that just change the pitch stability in aircraft.cfg from 1 to 1.6 Miguel

Hi, As title says.. . I still cannot activate. It's almost 9pm here in the UK. Is there really absolutely no way I can activate this thing? I am really cool with the whole DDoS matter. Not PMDG's fault, but honestly... I just want to activate the NGX and use it. How big is the activation footprint on the servers? Sorry but seeing other people who has absolutely no issues from buying, downloading and activating... and I seem to run into issues at each step.... Hi, Now I know that PMDG isn't a company for skimping on details, but just as a thought, could you have made this plane a little less FPS intensive (or with more flexible options for tuning graphic settings within the aircraft) for users with lower end systems? I know there are quite a few people out there who were mildly disappointed by the way the aircraft performs on their more "budget oriented" rigs. My system surpasses the minimum requirements for the airplane, but that still means 4-8 FPS in flight over Southern Illinois (not a very scenery-filled area ) with graphics settings at near lowest possible, except for Global Texture Resolution, of course. Is anybody using the mentioned GoFlight LGT II module? I would be interested in some feedback about the Gear Lever. I can't get it working. All other features like trim & flaps are ok, just not the gear lever. Is there maybe a workaround available or do we have to wait for GoFlight to update their software?

I have flown the NGX at a few default FSX airports with no add-on scenery, clear weather, and I cant get anything above 20FPS, even at 38,000. I have a 4.05 GHZ Quad core and a EVGA 580 GTX. How is everyone else doing as far as FPS is concerned?

Hello to everyone enjoying this wonderful airplane! Don't know if anyone else has tried this, but I have tried to delete the keyboard commands from the captain EFIS control panel, because I want to assign it to the FO one. Everything works fine until restarting FSX. That's when I find that the captain EFIS key commands are back and conflict with the FOs. I don't have the manuals on this computer, but if anyone knows what I'm missing here, please let me know. Another thing I would like to know is if it's possible to have the terrain display on the first officers ND as well? Or is it not there in the real aircraft either? I'm getting an issue when zooming approx 2.2x and greater in the VC which results in a strip displaying the ground below the aircraft. The strip is always in the same place, and stays in place even when rotating 360°. This does not in any way, shape or form appear when airborne. See attached.

I'm fairly sure why, although it'd still be great if anyone could help. This morning I had a problem with the livery installer; I was advised that the fix would be to delete the .cfg and rename a second .cfg (originally called the "aircraft.cfg_old") as the primary .cfg. This fixed it, but seems to have taken away my HUD - can I re-insert a line to get it back? Any other major differences I'd want to correct? Thanks!
