PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

First one there is this annoying alarm sound that was going off while i was on app. My master caution was not lite up nor was my fire. I looked everywere in that cabin to find what was causing that i couldnt find it. The parking brake wont engage on fsx. The plane is showing its up and locked but fsx isnt accepting it. While flying in the 2d panel there is a light that flickers its a flood light of some kind. Can the ngx do an autoland? If so i couldnt get it to do it. I had both flight directors on freq in both navs and both cmds light up.

Hi All I have downloaded a few of the liveries but can not install them---I cant open them and I can not find the instalation manager! Help Cheers Dorn Cranert

First off I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the NGX. That said I am having problems with the livery manager. Whenever I try to install a livery, it gets as far as "extracting file", then it crashes. Anyone else seeing this? Not a huge problem, I can live without WestJet colours for now. I have submitted a support ticket, but I haven't heard anything as of yet, and I'm not surprised, PMDG has a lot on there plate at the moment. Does anyone know a workaround for the livery manager? Like a way I could extract the files and manually place the files where they need to go? Or even better a way I could stop the livery manager from crashing.

Guys just been reading about the d.o.s attack only to find this about the law of it here in the uk?? In the Police and Justice Act 2006, the United Kingdom specifically outlawed denial-of-service attacks and set a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. Could PMDG sue the person/s resposible for loss of earnings ect for this attack as i dont know how things work in the us, i also know that the attack is coming from china so what are the chances of you of actualy chatching the person/s who have done this. Well impressed with the 737 NGX. Took her up from EGCC-Manchester. Quick flute around and then landed, even put her in an hanger. Its 4:48am here so off to bed for a little while, not long though. My settings were quite high and I left them exactly as they were, no problems noticed.

It is not NGX related but I need a help, I noticed that when I have Directx10 option off none of my displays on MCP or any screen inside 3d cockpit change at all, Knobs are moving but displayed data dosnt change (engines, flight level, course, heading - nothing at all). When I change FSX settings into DirectX10 it works again!Any ideas ?I downloaded inspector tool and set anitaliasing setting as it was described in some pinned topic - nothing changealso i recreated fsx.cfg - no change

I believe Ryan said it would be uploaded to PMDG's website as soon as the NGX was released so people who haven't purchased yet would be able to view it, but I'm unable to find it. Anyone know where it is located? Thanks!

I have been trying to load FSX with 737NGX, but once the scenery starts to load it freezes at 4% every time . . . . I tried loading it with out EZdok, tried using all the settings that are provided in the manual, and tried uninstalling and re-installing and get the very same situation. I have i7 920 bloomfield that is overclocked 3.8 GHz, 6 GB ram, and Nvidia 9800 GTX+

Sorry if this was addressed but is anyone else having problems with 737NGX and multiplayer?

I posted several pages back about a white box in the upper left of my screen and a thin white line spanning the top from that box to the right .I made a screenshot with arrows pointing to the problem areas.When I'm flying in a clear sky its driving me a tad bit nuts not having the blue sky running cleanly off the screen. :( This has never happened with any other addons (Captain Sim, iFly, Carenado, etc.) Could one of you gurus have a lookse and perhaps offer up a possible cause/fix please please please! I am considering buying this aircraft, but I have a unique situation with the MD-11. When I load the aircraft there's a 15 second pause for the panel to load. I have a triple-head display, and this plays havoc with my panel configs etc... It has essentially made the MD-11 unflyable for me. I was wondering if the NGX has the same panel loading screen. If so I will probably pass on the AC, but if not, then it's a must buy. Thanks

I purchased the 737 NGX yesterday through Pay Pal and have a receipt from Pay Pal that PMDG has been paid; but I have no down load link and the order does not show up on my history. I set up a ticket but have not gotten a response back. Is there anything else I need to do?

I have a 4.05GHZ Quad core, EVGA 580GTX video card and I can't get anywhere above 12-20FPS in default scenery with clear weather. I think it would take a minimum 5ghz processor to run this add-on enjoyably.

I'm having trouble with engaging the VNAV. Everything is set in my FMC but the VNAV will not engage.

...but guess I've never been in a more "real" FS 737NG before so maybe that could explain it Let me start by telling you I feel like a complete idiot considering how many virtual hours I have in 737NG's but for some reason I can't figure out I can't get the duct press to a level where it's possible to start the engines. I have the APU running, APU bleed air ON, fuel pumps ON, left and right packs OFF, isolation valve OPEN, engine bleed air ON but the duct press stays at approx 10 and if my memory serves me right you need approx about 30 for engine start. I have tried finding some kind of step-by-step guide in the provided doc on how to start up the engines from a cold &a…

Guys, I know that there are hundreds of pages about normal PROCEDURES that come with the NGX. After about an hour of filtering through them, which is not a lot considering their size, I have not found the checklist. I am sure different airlines have different checklists, but I thought PMDG would release one like they did for the 747. Thanks. Morgan W

If you want swift, helpful support from the team at PMDG for your NGX (or any of their products) how about you add your computer system specifications to your signature like I have. This will save you re-typing it numerous times and save PMDG support staff from having to ask you for it, saving everyone a lot of time.

Hi, I decided my first proper NGX flight would be Bombay to Delhi. I set up my plan with FSBuild and everything went really well until I broke through the rather low cloud base on finals.... no runway... it seems the navdata or my FSX data are out by about 500m. Could someone confirm whether its a Navdata error? Great plane.... enjoying it a great deal.. and new stuff to learn! Yeah!! Thanks,Paul
