PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have the 2D panel up and cannot get anything to change, nothing on the MCP or the CU's. Even if you retract the gear, it still shows the gear being down. I accept certain aspects of the 2D panel is not available on the 737NGX. Any help or similar problem? Rob

Having spent the last 30 minutes flying around Manhattan X, I'd like to start with a huge THANK YOU to the team for this amazing work of art! Three years has finally paid off and the result really is quite magical! Back on topic... I've come across a few users now, who like myself, have external hardware which at this stage is not compatible with the NGX. I'd like to ask what kind of release timescale we are looking at with the SDK, alongside the other variant releases. Having an NG home cockpit, the NGX is pretty much useless to me without these hardware drivers, at least from Saitek and GoFlight... I can't purchase the NGX until next week so I was hoping to be able to read through the manuals in the mean time. I think I once saw something about whether or not they would be available for download but I can't remember if they were or not. Tried searching, no luck- anyone know?

Hi, I had issues during the install process a(DX wouldn't install) and after installing my NGX, my fsx won't start (Fatal error) and keeps restarting. Your help is much appreciated. Eduardo Junior

When installing the 737-8/900 I recieve and error during the DirectX Setup saying the install failed and to refer to the "DXerror.log and DirectX.log." I registered and attempted to fly the aircraft anyway but it causes FSX to CTD when I load the plane. I'm running Vista 32 Bit. Any Ideas? -ETP

Hi all,installed the NGX but was dissapointed by performance... It is stuttering and I get low frames.Can fly decently the MD-11 on my computer.Any others had the same experience? Thanks,Christos

hello dear all i purchased the NGX right away this morning, when i got up, went to work, came back home, installed it, and it works perfectly fine...probably one of the best add ons ever released... i am having one single problem for the moment, when i am lining up on the rwy, i advance power levers to around 40 percent N1 , then hit CTRL - W (which i configured as TOGA controls in the FMC), but the PFD just stays on ARM(upper left corner) instead of TOGA. A/T is armed as well, and FMC is fully set up... any idea what i might be doing wrong... thanks Marc Marc Muller

Hi guys, I know that there is going to be a plethora of topics on the NGX as people get used to and sort through bugs and things they just simply need help with..but I have one I hope to be fairly straight forward! Since I loaded the aircraft..under the 'PMDG' menu along the top bar of FSX while flying, I have lost all the sub-heading for fuel load, panel states etc. I may be missing something...And I will double check..perhaps its on the FMS? Sorry if it's an obvious answer, can't seem to find it that's all..help would be greatly appreciated! Loving this airplane! John

Hey guys ;) Following Problem here: After I load the NGX everything seems normal for about 5-10 seconds.Thereafter the Computer reboots completely on its own and without any warning or error! I tried other AC as well but they dont!I can hear the NGX loading the sounds etc and then....reboot! As I have a 32Bit OS I looked up my RAM and GPU Memory during loading etc and had plenty of both left!I had 500MB RAM free after loading the NGX and it only Used 32% GPU RAM! CoreTemp was 55° and the Frames were between 20 and 30 somewhere! I would appreciate it so very much if PMDG could create some sort of a counter which displays precisely the percentage of how many individuals are sending support requests / reporting problems, against the total number of orders. I am nearly sure that if someone finds the NGX working 100% fine for him, he will be isolating himself from the whole world to enjoy the NGX alone in his room, which means we may not be hearing anything from him until a couple of weeks. If I have this percentage displayed, it might be of a great help that decides initially if the problem is an actual general problem related to the product, or it is related to a certain user because of his system…

I have downloaded all the NGX repaints. And they all work apart from the 900NGX WL variants. I select the 900WL in the livery manager, find the liveries and install but it puts them in the 900 folder. Therefore i get a error when trying to load them in fsx.

HI all, Firstly a magnificent product from the posts ive seen congratulations to the whole Team.I have been watching this product for so long now, and ive seen a lot of stuff posted about it Here in australia, those of us who are flight simmers and work to keep the country running have finished up for the day and after watching all our dole bludger mates here, and lucky US friends download the aircraft all day long at work, had high hopes of spending the night flying this beautiful girl. Hi guys, I am still only in the process of downloading the new NGX...very excited as many are around the world I am sure! (Was even more excited to find all the up to date Australian liveries like Virgin Australia etc!) Just wanted to say it has been a long journey, and a long wait on the customers side, but being a PMDG product, we all knew it would be worth it, and the staff stayed true to the promise and we have it in the time frame they announced last week. Thanks to your stellar 737 NGX, it's going to be hard if not impossible to bother flying the others in my stable. Heck, I have already uninstalled my other "737" addons. :) Bill Daugherty

there is a flight plan directory for 747. There is none for 737, so how can i load the the flight plan without entering everything manually in FMC. With 747 it is quite simple, just copy your compatible flight plan in to directory and call it in FMC with "Co Route". Any ideas Bora

just downloading remotely on my home pc, ready for me when i get home tonight !!, just wondering did the beta team run into any issues with the ngx when in free flight lobby in gamespy, ie loosing connection or while flying with other people with the same addon. i have another well know "fast" addon aircraft that is not very good when i comes to gamespy. regards Eric.

Just installed NGX runs decent on my machine, nothing to complain about, but when I landed my scenery started to flicker and black spots appeared on the aircraft and scenery. Is this caused by me running 32 bit windows 7. My machine says its capable of running 64 bit and I am ready to do so, but with my system specs, will I see a difference. Specs - AMD Athlon Duo Core 5200+ 2.7Ghz Processor 3GB Ram/500GB hard drive Nvidia 8800GT 528Mb Video card. All opinions appreciated and welcome. Thanks

When starting from dark and cold, I cannot start engine two. #1 is not a problem, but #2 is. I switch the starter to grd, with the fuel leveler idle. There is no rise in EGT or something. Also a standby power drive light is on (can't get it off) and engine 2 gives a low pressure warning. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but don't know what. Looked in the manual, but don't find the solution. Any help? Thanx!
