Hi. I've been following PMDG for about 8 years, and this is the first time I felt the need to join the forum and comment. So here goes: Quite simply, the 737NGX is BRILLIANT! I've tried quite a few planes in the past 12 years that I've been indulging in this hobby, but THIS is the experience I've always wanted in a simulated airliner. For me, it's the perfect balance of fun and challenging. Thank you all so much for your countless hours of hard work in making the NGX. I'm proud to support you. All the best! -John

I wish they where posted in here and not face book. "PMDGJust a quick update: We are still looking at a few hours before full service is restored. We'll update here as soon as everything is back online. We appreciate your patience during this long wait." 45 min's ago. ----------A "few"..... 3,4,5,6,7,8........who know's, but a "few" is more than 2 in my book, so a total wast of booking a day of work.

Looking at th details section when choosing a plane the range for all models is 3060nm. Does this mean that there is no range difference in the models (I imagine not but I just want to check). Sorry for asking this guysCheers

Been fooling around with this beauty for a bit... but I seem to be having an issue with the auto brake usage.. it works fine on a rejected takeoff..(disengages the way it should) but on landing it refuses to disengage.. (yes I have moved the switch to off) it only disengages if I snap on the parking brake ( Ctrl .) and off again to disengage the auto brake...after which I lose full use of the manual braking... its just non-response even on the keyboard. I am using a Saitek X45 set and I can find no documentation in the Manual about troubleshooting brakes. Any suggestions? Ruining my life..kinda

I purchased the NGX about 20 minutes after release. Was quite slow then but worked but I still cant use the NGX as I am not able to activate the plane. It always shows me the max. number of activations has been exceeded.... What the hell ? I never shared my key and just try to activate it via the same IP/MAC Address. Anyone else facing this Problem ? Now I cant even place a support ticket as the PMDG database is somehow down... Im very disappointed...Of course PMDG is not responsible for the DDOS but if I'm unable to run my servers properly I may get professionals who could do that... Should be a requirement to run a "professional" business. So long...

Hi Guys: I hope you're holding up OK with all the madness. I tried to get a support ticket to obtain a download link (paypay was charged). I signed up for a support account, but I have not received an activation link email. I therefore haven't been able to submit a support ticket. When you get a chance, please let me know how I can get you the information you need to either set up a support account or to complete this purchase. I understand things are hectic at the moment. So when ever you get a chance. Thank you and good luck. Michael Gutierrez. North Hollywood, California

I have a good hardware configuration with 64bit Win7, 8GB of RAM and nVidia 480GTX card. I applied all the recommended FSX.CFG tweaks. I trimmed back all my FS add-ons to the bare minimum to rule them out. I'm getting smooth frame rates and great visuals with the NGX, but experiencing regular freezes/lockups every 1-2 minutes, which brings everything to a halt for 10-20 seconds. Then FSX goes back to great frame rates for a while, until the next lockup. I've never had this problem before with any other add-on aircraft in FSX. Has anyone seen this problem, or more importantly, fixed it? It's making the NGX unusable to have everything grinding to a halt so frequently for 10…

Hi PMDG team. I have a quick question regarding downloading of the 737NGX........... Will it be possible to download the package to a PC say using the 'save as' function (think the install package was quoted at being around about 600MB) then installing on another machine? I don't mean install to 2 separate machines. I would be using another PC to complete the download then saving the 'exe' to a pen drive and installing on my home machine as I don't currently have an internet connection at home. Will this be a problem for me? any info would be fantastic. Thanks in advance Congratulations on a great product, I'm really looking forward to flying her. Darrel Cooke

the sounds in the cockpit are awful, outside view is pretty good. now maybe it did't install right cause the 800 is worse then the 900. also you can't put on AP in the 800, whats wrong with this thing? no problems with any other pmdg aircraft 747x or md11.james wyatt

It is around 10:40 PM Pacific Time. I paid for the product 3 hours ago and have nothing to show for it. It is too late for me to stay up and fly. You should have anticipated server problems and done more to protect yourselves from hacking. Your remarks blaming China are offensive and in very poor taste. I hope that when I wake up in the morning I will be able to download my plane. Big disappointment! Ed

To all the hard working guys and gals that hung in there and made this happen, my thanks. I am sure there are frustrated and disgruntled customers and just fools who don't understand the quality of your product, but you will have a massive following from those who do. The days of loading up a product and it "just" working, have long since gone, but you guys have bought it back. All you need now, is the general community and the hardware manufacturers and interface people to get behind this ground breaking piece of software and make it even better. I salute you guys and thank you from the bottom of my flight suit for a job well done. And it is my birthday soon, so I will …

Just out of curiosity, since I have just installed FSX and have done some tests with the default 737-800, could someone tell me what is the diffrenece in term of fps between the NGX and the default FSX 737-800? For example sitting on a payware airport runway threshold, VC and with the same conditions?Thank you very much.James

....give him/her a big big kiss from me!!! I mean the whole package is just amazing, but the soundpackage with all the details is just outstanding. I just flew from Great Falls to Missoula (KGTF-KMSO) RNAV RWY 29, with that terrain "thing", just perfect. First flight done, now I have to go work..... :-) THANK YOU PMDG great product I love you all Happy McDaniel

I already submitted a ticket about this, but as all the people who can't even download it probably have priority, I'm posting this issue here as well. I can't fly without my custom key assignments.I tried binding the navigational display range knob increase/decrease....and discovered that it was actually turning the ND mode selector knob.I threw some binds on the mode selector assignments and they also turn the mode knob (as they should). So I can't change my map distance on the fly...gotta mouse over and switch it manually.I read through all the documentation and I didn't see this addressed. Somehow I have a hard time believing this was missed during all the beta testing…

I am currently flying HKG-KHH with 40% of fuel, now at FL280 with 29% left and still climbing. However, I noticed that my climb rate was very very slow, at just around 700-800fpm or at most 900fpm. Is something wrong here? I would have thought that the NGX will climb pretty fast at a lower weight, like an A320. My gross weight currently is 63800kg, if that helps.
