Since many of us are in a holding pattern waiting to get a download link, or purchase, were the NGX manuals/tutorial ever released? I cant find them but there's been so many posts today I may have just missed it. Would make for good reading to pass the time.

The PMDG server is down ...

I just wanted to take a moment out of the madness that has been the last two days right up until now, to give everyone at PMDG a round of applause. Not only for the incredible work that has been accomplished, but for bringing all of us who are fans, enthusiast, pilots, and geeks to the forefront of what in inevitably be the greatest experience to offer for Flight Simulator ever. Personally for me, the 737NGX will be what jump starts my career towards becoming a real pilot. Between the depth of the simulation and the training that will be made available from AoA Media, this will be just what I need to start me off on the path of my goal. Well here it is sitting at KLAX (avg 40fps!!!!) First impressions are jawdropping...

Robert had said, that there would be no server crash upon 737NGX release...but I can't purchase it. :( :( Don't you want my money!? /half sarcasm

Wow, can't believe my thread was locked... Whatever... I came back to this site after a rough start based on the feedback asking me to stay, and then my thread gets locked? Wow, I give up... The final poster said my thread was useless, and it was locked... Certainly my thread was innocuous, especially compared to others still active. I was just trying to share part of my day in real-world ops on the NG.... I truly had wanted to share my 1500+ hours thus far on the NG to those who were interested, but this forum keeps showing its ugly side. It is certainly not a very user friendly place! 737Guy KEWR

Straight from the product page of the NGx: "Flight Model - Engine and flight modeling that is within 5% of the actual Boeing aircraft performance charts, including single-engine operations.." Does this mean that you don't need an unreasonable amount of power when taxiing the aircraft on the ground?

Does anyone know how long it will be before release or what has been keeping PMDG? I can wait, just wondering, the Facebook pic hasn't changed also in like 4 hours. I am anxious for this, but I am trying to be patient, please reply! :)

It's 5:37 EDT and it appears all the PMDG staff except RSR is online now. Hopefully he's composing a good topic for us to read... Robert did say the other day, it would be an all-hands on deck affair for the release....
