My PMDG 747-400X needs to have the weather "controlled" within FSUIPC4 otherwise while under auto pilot the well documented veering can occur. I'm just wondering how the upcoming 737NGX copes in the same situation and does it need FSX's weather to be "handled" by FSUIPC4 in the same way or are these settings not necessary? I must say the 747-400X got me back into FSX and the 737 looks like it will turbo-boost that passion. As great as the 744 is , high fidelity and accuracy in short haul flights will be most welcome. Cheers

Hi Ryan, I may have been dreaming this, but did you say sometime ago that when the NGX is released you would be sorting out a profile/setting set for the customers with EZDOK? Be great if you could... Many thanks

Just a quicky, in Nick's video on takeoff out of Gatwick (UK) i cannot remember hearing any ground thud from the wheels going over the centre line, I am aware that it was the beta version, so im just asking if it is there because am pretty sure something as small as this would have been covered. Thanks Ste

Hi, I raised this previously, and was told to ask later, so I'm asking later. :D What is the glide ratio of the real 737-800, and how close to this is the sim? I have found that all the FS aircraft I have tested have very excessive drag with all engines off. Has this been overcome in the 737, or does it suffer the same issue (understandable - as far as I'm aware this is some fixed value in FS and no separate parameter exists for it)? What is it like at idle power? FS seems easy enough to tune for this. Best regards,Robin.

Will the NGX simulate accurate braking distances with contaminated runways? I have noticed with other addons if I was to shoot an approach with a crosswind that exceedes landing limitations for a short, wet runway the aircraft seems to have no problem comming to a grinding halt. Is this a limitation within FSX? Or will this be somthing I will have to monitor and obey if it does exceed limitations? Greg Keath

Guys, Anyone from the beta-tester's team or the staff can please take a look at the hidden pages of CDU/FMC in this link, and please, answer me if this "easter-egg" will come with NGX? http://www.b737.org.uk/fmc.htm#Hidden_Pages I'ts not something spectacular to do, but certainly almost everyone here didn't know that such thing exists. Hi Guys,I use Ryanair alot for my business travel (out of East Mids EGNX) when ever possible. I was returning from Seville the other day and decided to grab the front row window seat opposite the cabin crew folding seats, I normally go for the exit aisle wing view so I get extra leg room and feel all the aircraft flap movements extra and "get it down quick Ryanair thump and back jar landing".So there we sat at Seville in the heat with the aircrew and the rest of us sheep waiting for 2 families who decided that more duty free was a priority over getting a seat!So as I sat there grinning to myself after craning my neck to view the open doored cockpit in all it's glory, my a…

Hi all,and thank-you PMDG!I am building a Force feedback, linear actuator, back-driven 737 yoke, I wonder if any crew can give rough guesstimates on yoke forces during takeoff, landing and cruise? I am also interested in centering forces at different speeds,I have read that the elevator feel system needs 2 fingers only yoke pressure on landing and takeoff. Also will the auto trim system be modeled? Thanks again, Jim

So with the fantastic video uploaded a few days ago now of the ngx cockpit, one of the real standouts was the sun effects and fingerprints/dust on the display units etc. That is super cool. Really nice job. A question which I think was asked but no one answered: Will there be an option to arrive into a 'clean' cockpit? It doesnt really bother me, but I might aswell ask. :)

Hey friends and volks in the avsim community. In the last couple of days, while i became more and more excited about the NGX release, i watched trough the videos Nick from "Angels of Attack" made about a hundert times just not able to get my eyes off it.There has been specifically one thing i was wondering about while i was watching the "Walk-Around" video.I am not quite sure if there is a after cabine modeled wich we can see from the cockpit like: *exiting the cockpit trough the cockpit door and then walking trough the after cabin* May anyone of you guys can help me out here. Kind regards awaiting the NGX, ReaperPr0

Hey Nick, First off, your videos are excellent, especially as you say they are unscripted and off the cuff. Thanks for taking all the time and effort to show all of us what we can expect. We have only been hearing about the numerous path breaking and out of the box programming done for the NGX. I guess, seeing is beleiving (not that I doubted anything in the first place ). In the last video, you showed all of us the fantastically modeled Yaw Damper. My question to you is, now can we uncheck Auto Co-ordination in the realism settings and still get co-ordinated turns on the NGX ? If so, this would be music to my ears especially in single engine ops and in de-crabbing. This…

I've been reading about it, but i still can't quite understand it :( At first i thought that it was similar to the Airbus auto-trim, but that can't be right because you have to trim the 737 manually, so how do it work? Does it only work with the autopilot engaged, or also when hand flying?

Think PMDG is simulating this in the NGX? LOL, just kidding. Luckily, however, the worst injury was a broken leg!!! http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/caribbean-airlines-jet-breaks-in-half-in-guyana-crash-landing/story-e6frg6so-1226105391798
