Hi!I am very pleased to read that the release of this groundbreaking addon is finally happening! This will change my FSX experience completely.I have one question concerning the video from Nick of AOA in which he takes a look at the A/P system.I am aware of the fact that he used an early wide beta version to shoot that video (at least that´s what he says in the video), but I noticed that LVL CHG doesn´t work smoothly (climb rate of 7000 fpm) and at one point of the video, the dialed in altitude was even overshooten. Has this been revised for the release version?Otherwise, I am deeply impressed by the pure work of art, PMDG!Greets from Germany,Michael Schmitt

  2. I was just wondering if the 800 and 900's will have HUDs, or only the 900 and bbj's? I have the Ifly, and unfortunately they only have huds in the BBJ's.

  3. Hi guys, sadly I'll be to holidays from the 31st to the 10th August. But as the NGX releases in this time, would it be possible to get access to the manuals when I buy the NGX in holidays on my notebook (On which FSX isn't installed, which is why I can't install the NGX on it)? I'd love to have something good to read in the holidays, so is there any way I could get the manuals after I've bought the NGX without installing it? Thanks for your helpEmanuel Hagen

  5. Dear team, First, all I can see in the videos and screens made available recently is just stunning! great job - worth to buy! My question: I often feel more comfortable in cockpit when I get the "feeling" of sitting inside the plane. At LeonardoSH and other studios they came up with the idea of showing you the aircraft nose when you sit in the cockpit and virtually "lean forward". Will you model the aricraft nose inside the cockpit or did you save framerates instead? (which would be fine for me, too).

I'm just saying... whether its a C40 or a 700C, with all the AirHauler pilots out there I am sure it would do fairly well for sales.

I asked this question in another thread but didn't get a clear answer. Will there be any 2D popup panels or will we need to pan around the VC to access all of the panels. Thanks for taking the time answer,Ed

Greetings,Was perusing the "Walk-around" video and couldn't help but notice that there's a little engraving of sorts right below the Captain's window that states "IN MEMORY CLAYTON T. DOPKE MAJOR USAF RETIRED." After some brief searching I found him, apparently a very dedicated beta tester who passed away recently. Also a former B-52 Aircraft Commander. By chance was the NGX dedicated to his memory?-Matt Barton

Hey Gang,As those of you who have read my articles for various magazines will know, I have a real problem with poor implementations of LNAV and VNAV! I have seen some really beautiful sims completely broken by a wobbly LNAV or a VNAV that is far from accurate in its implementation. I should not complain so much as these features use incredibly complex algorithms. In fact, I have only seen PMDG, out of all sim developers, actually have a VNAV profile that matches the real aircraft. So, I spent some time this morning checking out the LNAV and VNAV on the NGX and wanted to share some really interesting observations on the incredible accuracy of the NGX. It is another one of t…

Hi PMDG. I suppose (offcourse) the NGX setup has a key or password to install it in my machine. So I would like to know that whether the NGX with this password will have a limit of computers to install in. I ask this because I am going to buy it with a partner with the download service and if it could be installed at least in two computers we could buy it together. Thank you. Jorge.

  16. Hello PMDG, I watched the last video about the ngx and I am shocked, that you think nobody will recognize the hard work and small simulated things. I just want to tell you, that the simulation depth is the main reason, because I have bought and will buy PMDG products. I really like to experiment with the knobs and switches in the cockpit, even if it has currently no sense, like switching all Displays to DEU2. If I sit in the cockpit I get that feeling, like I am at home, i am safe and it rains outside, you understand? Therefore I want to say thank you and that at least one customer, me, recognizes all those little things and the hard work behind. best regardssebihepp

Hello simmer fellows! Due to the impending release of the NGX I am asking the following question: What would be the best way to learn this awesome but more complex bird? I know some of us - including me - will have much experience with the old NG but you know the new bird will be much more complex. So, how do you will get started with the NGX? Do you read all manuals in-depth and start learning the NGX from scratch? I think this would be the best and meaningful way. I am gonna do this. Because when studying the manuals we will have the chance to get to know the system functions in-depth.Or do you just print out the checklists and start to fly (hope not)? What do you advi…

Very much looking forward to the release of the NGX, and I am very pleased to see that a in-service failure option has been included, based on component life limits. I assume that the aircraft has a "state" file associated with it that is continually updated with total (to date) flight hours, engine cycles, landings, APU hours etc, in order to know when a specific component has reached the end of its service life. My question: is this specific to the exact livery/airline option loaded? In other words, if I load an American 800, starting at "factory new" zero-time hours and cycles, put 200 flight hours on it, then change to a Delta 800 (also starting a zero-time), and put …

  24. Hi PMDG, FPS performance is going to be the crucial factor for me in deciding whether to purchase the NGX. As you are wrapping up the release build, I was wondering whether you can report yet on FPS performance of the product with the debugging code removed. In particular, can you give us some numbers and an assessment of performance relative to the MD11 and JS41? If you can't give us that sort of report yet, will you be able to do so before release. I guess that sooner or later after release the truth about performance will be known, but I'd like to buy this day 1 if I am confident that performance will not be an issue. I own the other recently released 737NG and, to…

I understand that you need to put anti ice on when going through clouds as this is modelled. However if you are on the ground, is there a function allowing de-iceing and does this affect hold over times?
