it make a very long time that i haven't flown the 737 and i don't remember if there is a way to have a count down on a screen to know the alignement time for the irs. I haven't seen it on the cockpit video (superb video)!

Hello,I was just wondering with the upcoming release of the NGX, what AIRAC will it be coming with? I usually see outdated AIRACs with the release of add-ons.Cheers,Spencer Hayes

Hello all future NGX owners ;)In the old 737 I was always wondering how the drag works. My experience is that if the speedbrakes are extended the plane only decelerates very slow, also when using a low vertical speed. Is this an realistic behaviour or was this a not perfect realization of the speed brake function in the old bird? So, I would like to know how the NGX behaviour is in the case speedbrakes are extended? Does it react realistic? And what is realistic? Does the speed decreases faster or slower when speedbrakes are extended? In my opinion the break efficiency is too low but I am not a real pilot so please apologize if I am wrong ;)Is my objection legitimate or am…

As we've already had a thread about the variants/destinations you'll fly to at your first flight i thought it would be nice if everyone shares his prefered setup for his/her first flight with the brand new NGX.My first flight will be with -800 WL no eyebrows Collins MCP, Carbon Brakes and PFD/ND Equipment, because i like the modern style :DWhat will yours be???

Given the news of the day, I thought it would be appropriate to start laying the groundwork with my girlfriend about my future lack of time.Notice the overly kind salutation "sweets" and the reinforcement of the feelings that we've forged over the past few years... So what do ya'll think? Is this relationship doomed? Should I sign up for Match.com? haha! Also, disregard my misspelling of "descent" in our convo from yesterday... I was TOD in the A2A 377 and spelling wasn't at the top of the priority list!

Morning guys and dolls!Im having trouble with the internet at my end in terms of download speeds for some reason. Would it therefore be possible to download the 737 at work on my laptop, put it onto a memory stick and then install on the FSX rig when I get home? Should be ok for the online activation, just like I say my download speeds are pants at the moment for some reasonAll the bestRichard Wheatley

I think it would be a great idea (once the NGX is released) if all of us gather for a groupflight from KBFI or KRNT to one destination. We would all fly any airline of our choice on VATSIM and perhaps join up on a random VOX channel. If we get enough guys in on this, we can all take a vote on what our route would be.Who's in?

With regard to the upcoming release, I wondered if TOPCAT support for the NGx is planned in the near future. :( I am sure the provided tools by PMDG will be more than enough to use the aircraft satisfactorily, but TOPCAT is "the icing on the cake" in my opinion and adds to the whole simming experience.

With the PMDG NGX Manuals, will we be able to send them somewhere like kinkos or staples to get them printed/bound? I find it nice to print the manuals, but I want ones that are professionally printed and bound. I know we won't be able to do that with the actual Boeing manuals, but will the PMDG (General features/tutorials, etc) be able to be printed?

I'm curious about the licensing of the NGX. I have an FSX rig that I'd like use the NGX on. In a few months I plan to upgrade to a new computer. How does the licensing support this? Can I have two instances on two separate computers with just one license?Thank you, and I look forward to buying this amazing bird.Sam Kharey

Captains!A few weeks ago (was it a month ago already? The days kind of run together at this stage of development...) I mentioned that I was working on a short video to demonstrate some of the "cool" features of the PMDG 737NGX.I mentioned that sewing the whole video together was not a high priority on my task list, but that I would try to get around to it.I still haven't. :( But this is one of those "bad news begets good news" moments since the reality of the matter is that my skills as a videographer are poor. My hope was to show you a really intimate view of the NGX cockpit in order to give you a dynamic view of just what you are getting with the PMDG 737NGX.But t…

I refused to go to FSX when it came out about 6 years ago. I bought it, installed it, upgraded it and then promptly left it alone. I refused to go to FSX despite the amazing screen shots on AvSim. I refused to go to FSX when RealAir released their FSX Scout, Spitfire and Duke. I refused to go to FSX when PMDG had me Beta the MD-11- don't get me wrong, I loved the airplane, but as soon as it came out in FS9 I went right back to that version. There was nothing that I would allow to interfere with my mates, Steve, Paul and I, getting into 3 BA 747-436s and heading off to the far reaches of the globe. We all fly for British Airways Virtual, we all love the 747-436 and w…

Hi,yesterday I had the chance to compare the old but still gorgeous Level D 767 and 737 NG from IFly.737 NG from IFly is a fps killer, let's say 40% less fps than Level D 767 !!!! .....and therefore 40% less of each other payware plane installed.I have also seen in action PMDG J41 and despite the good graphic it is a fps hungry one as well, even if of course not like the horrific ( fps ) 737 NG by IFly. I ask to devs, how does PMDG 737 NGX compare to PMDG J41 in terms of fps ? Please bear in mind that I guess 95% of flight simmers have at least 3-4 add ons installed, like f.i. REX etc... and this must be taken into considerations when gauging fpsIf J41 and 737 NGX had pr…

Hi,What scenarios regarding the engines are modelled in normal use? Can they flame out due to icing for example, if we fly in severe icing for an extended period with no anti-ice protection?Best regards,Robin.

Robert, Jason, Vin, Ryan, Dr Vaos ( :( ), the other team members (sry i don't know your names...) and of course your families and friends who all have been patient i guess because you all worked so hard.THANK YOUThank you for giving us such a wonderful and perfect aircraft. You give everyone here the chance to perfectly simulate his hobby/dream of flying.Thank you for giving us funny moments over the last months with little jokes and stories.Thank you for not releasing this beauty until it is as perfect as you want it. Your addon-aircrafts are the only ones which are installed on my computer (at least in the airliner section) and i really look forward to every of your fut…

Hi all,Since i'm one of the teen-guys here i have no creditcard and i have no Paypal AccBut i've seen that Aerosoft sells the Downloadversion of the J41 and i thought maybe PMDG could allow them to sell the NGX-download,too since the box will take some month more. That would be really nice because Aerosoft has some other possibilities to pay and with this i needn't worry about the box :/
