PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Im pretty sure this is something to do with my setup and not FSX - but; I only get it in the 737NGX. After engines have started, I can only apply thurst to Engine #1 on my Logitech 3D Extreme Joystick. Engine #2 just stays at idle. But, I also noticed that even when pressing F4 (keyboard shortcut for FULL thurst), it stays at idle. Im at NZWN holding short to takeoff, but I cant until this is fixed! :(

Thanks PMDG this NGX is simply miles better than I though possible.I thought it would never be as good as I imagined or have seen. But it was way better. So thank you very much. Now to my small issue. I have a problem with thrust reverse.I have a ch yoke with 1 axis for the throttle 1 for the reverser and 1 for the spoilers. When I am on the ground I can advance the throttle to any setting bring it back to idle and then open the reversers no problem at all.In other words If I try and diagnose the issue on the ground before taking off I cannot find any issues to diagnose. PMDG, I noticed on your website where you offer the printed NG manuals that in the "Chief Pilots Set" is included a hole-punched, laminated checklist ($8 value) for free as part of the set. My question: is it possible to purchase just the laminated checklist?? I can't really afford (or justify to the Mrs.) several hundred dollars worth of printed manuals when my only aim is to get the laminated checklist. Besides, I run an old beat up laptop on bare bones Linux to flip through the PDF manuals if I need to reference something but do like having an actual laminated checklist in hand. Hi EveryoneI do love the NGX however I am getting a problem that I am not sure what is causing it. I did a flight last night from YSSY to YBBN and again this morning. TO, Climb and cruise all went fine but in the descent all of a sudden the sim gets very stuttery with frames alternating quickly between say 20fps and 2fps making it totally unflyable and then it crashes totally. I only turned frames on to see what was happening and started before I put it on.Is this the same thing that some people are reporting about memory type errors? Was curious, after entering the performance data I noticed the ISA Dev line is filled in automatically, so is it safe to assume it's calculating that for you? Or do you actually have to compute ISA Deviation and enter it on that line? Can't quite wrap my head around that one... any of you FMC/CDU masters fill me in? Thanks much!

I have a DELL Studio XPS system purchased with the Intel i7 860 clocked at 2.8GHz. Intel's Turbo boost technology allows the speed to ramp up to 3.2 GHz when required. In fact when FSX is running I can see on the widget that the processor is continuously running at 3.2GHz. Hi all, I just wanted to say that I love the NGX; only have a few hours on it but it is really something. Everything works great, but performance could be improved. My system is a couple years old now, and not high performance by today's standards at all. Centrino 2.13Ghz with NVIDIA 9600MGS 1MB and 4GB RAM. Any sugguestions for how I can squeeze more performance out of the plane, not including getting a new system? I have made the tweaks PMDG sugguested in the introduction manual. Cruising, I get 30-35, but not consistently. They drop down to 15 or even 7 sometimes, creating an annoying lag. I do not have FPS limiter, and am running REX 2.0 Overdrive with HD clouds. Also…

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I was surprised all my buttons but one worked, including spoilers and reverse thrusters, just fine on my first flight; however, my A/P button will not work. I have gone through the CDU Keyboard Commands, but have not found an A/P On/Off Command. I did at least find a Command to disengage the A/P. As I understood the instructions, I was to type Z in with my PC keyboard. This did not work. I'm wondering if there is a place somewhere where I have to enable my keyboard to connect with the CDU, and second, how can I make my joystick button turn the A/P On as well as Off. Hi guys, for some reason the aircraft is always loading with the engines shutdown, but it's not in cold and dark state. I just want to fly when i load up the sim. Instead i am having to go through all the engine start checks every time. Is there a quick way of solving this issue. Many thanks. Mike.

Just as a note, some of the liveries that I downloaded (didn't do all) did not have the HGS Controller installed ( in the center pedestal). Those liveries are:800's Winglets - Air Berlin, United, West Jet, KLM900's Winglets - Continental, UnitedOn those liveries, the click point on the left side of the VC cockpit window wasn't there either.There may be others, but of my downloads, this is what I found.Was it intentionally designed this way?? So, when i select a ngx aircraft in 'select aircraft' and start a flight the fsx loads all components and when the 737 is loaded the fsx crashes. I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL MY SPECS ARE GOOD FOR NGX AND I HAVE SP1 AND SP2 running windows 7.

Sitting on the tarmac with engines running, all systems up.1) I have a "TCAS OFF" yellow text warning on my ND, how can I turn on TCAS?2) On my PFD I have a "LDG ALT" yellow text warning underneath my VS indicator.Thanks

Is anyone experiencing FSX fatal errors with the NGX? The forums seem pretty quite with crashes and the like. I'm unable to complete a flight, starting to bug me now. My system has no problems with other PMDG aircraft. A ticket has been submitted to PMDG, maybe that's what other people are doing so it's not really showing up in the forum. Hello! First of all thank you very much for that amazing simulation which runs very nice on my system!Unfortuneately I have two issues to report (not much I think ;-)) 1. I have the problem that the GS information on the PFD (2D Panel) appears very very late although it is already on the standby instrument and on the approach mode. Any idea why? 2. The blue indication on the upper EICAS where you can see what your current hardware throttle position is sometimes disappears for a longer while. I tried installing a group of liveries with success, except the 800WL liveries did not install. Checked previous livery issues in the forum and and unchecked the read only tab in the CFG file for each. When I go back to install the 800WL liveries it sais --this texture folder already exits. What do I do now.

HiI have been having the following problems since installing the 737NGX I have all my FSX settings to match those in PMDG's introduction and I have just changed the following line:"TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD_1024" to"TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD_4096"in my FSX config file also as per the instruction manual.
