PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I keep requesting a email so I can activate my support account and it won't send me one. I have tried 20 times now and nothing in my inbox or spam. Besides the CTD on loading saved flights I just saw that I was double billed. anybody else having a issue making a support ticket?

Just downloaded the NGX this morning and havent had time to read any of the manuals yet but I am curious as to what the difference between the NGX and NG was?Also~ if anyone knows of little animations that may be hard to find please let me know:)I can't tell if the seats move (not that it matters, just wondering) and stuff to that sort.THANKS!

Hey,I have a problem where I cant see any of my light from the virtual cockpit.External, the taxi lights and landing lights are visible (link)But internally, from the VC, nothing is visible (link) But I have a very faint recollection it might actually be a problem with REX that I have installed?Wasnt there an issue with PMDG landing lights? And doesnt anyone remember how to resolve it?

As I have been unable to successfully send a Ticket enquiry please forgive me for posting it here. Below is what I'd attempted to send: "I'm using a dedicated partition for Widows 7 on my Apple iMac. After choosing the 737 it appears for one or two seconds on the runway of my choice. The computer then crashes with the message "Flight simulator has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution can be found." I had saved the tutorial flight before landing using the FSX menu on the belief that I would probably screw up the landing (which is what happened...). But when I try to load the flight using the FSX "load" command, the game crashes. I tried choosing the correct aircraft first, but it still crashed. Is this a bug? The Introduction manual states that flights can be saved and loaded from the FSX menus. Henri

Hi, i am so far very happy with the NGX. Just found one soundbug (i cannot give much details but what i know is, i shutted down the engines and all other systems, still I heard engine sound. I then tried to load another panel config but it remained like this. Secondly, the support website seems to be down or removed.

Hey PMDG! Just one little question: I have downloaded both Austrian and Austrian Star Alliance livery directly from website, however it seems that only Star Alliance livery is OK, while regular Austrian installs American Airlines one? Can you check it? Thanks!

The manuals that come with the plane contain a lot of information - some have more than 1000 pages. The order of manuals in the folder are NOT the order in which newbies should read them. Of course the first readings should be the introduction and tutorial manuals. But by far the most useful other manual is the FCTM (Flight Crew Training Manual). that is where the information is presented in a logical, pedagogical and easy-to-understand manner, for example the takeoff and landing procedures. Hello, Yesterday I had a very long write up on my initial reactions to the NGX and just before I was about to post, I accidentally deleted it instead. I don't feel as though I can type all of that again so I will just point out a few things here... Performance (not frame rates, but performance) I really just can't believe how well this airplane performs. I'm not talking about the actual frame rate number here because if I were to stare at the frame counter I might actually be disappointed. HiI noticed on several flights with the NGX, both 800 and 900 types, that the plane has trouble keeping speed and goes way to fast.It looks like the speed tape is bouncing or something. (low fps due to FRAPS)I followed the introduction manual to the letter, no weather add-ons, I put my throttle hardware to idle when using AT (I use a saitek X52).I really don't know what else to, so I hope you guys can help me.GIno

I thought I had this one fixed last night but I guess I was wrong. the problem I am having is any flight where I have used radar contact I can not save the flight and reload it. it does not matter if I load it through RC or the FSX menu.. I get a crash to desktop at about 4 percent loading. I also noticed that I get the trim wheel sound a few seconds before the crash. last night I added uiautomationcore.dll and I thought I had it working but today I saved a flight on final and wanted to go practice my landings and I cant load it. Hello, I noticed that when i was beside a Friend who has the 737 NGX too this Aircraft Ailerons Rudder etc. move like mine, even the Doors open and close. i wonder because it doesnt happen with other Aircrafts while playing online. Is this intentionally or is there any workaround for it? It seems then that my Computer has to compute the movement of the other Plane and it costs some Frames. Help is appreciated. Greetings Chris

Using VNAV to climb, the jet has very little VVI..sits about 1500 fpm..was taking horrible long to climb to FL310....accelerated to about 330 kts (slightly below OVERSPEED) and got there about 11,000 and then picked up a climb to hold that speed and the climb was taking way longer than I have normally experienced in any payware jet. Also, passing 18,000 I hit the "B" button to set teh altimeter to 29.92 and it just changed the current altimeter setting to boxed yellow. Is this a manual adjustment now? Steve

I think pretty much everyone understands that a 64-bit OS Is much preferable to a 32-bit OS. However, reading the various posts, performance is highly dependent on the particular system so one size does not fit all and performance varies among 64-bit environments.. Sooooo I have a question. Only as far as virtual memory is concerned and with all other hardware and software factors remaining constant, does the NGX use: 1. More virtual memory (how much more ?)2. Hi guys, after the activation issue is gone I get a CTD just after clicking "Start Flight" from the main screen or right after loading the plane from a running cessna flight. win7 just tells me that there is an error. 1st off, thanks for all the hard work on this wonderful work of art. PMDG is the standard in the flight sim bizz. I rate you guys right next to Gulfstream lol. 1st issue-While on a RNAV APP on the GP, adding flaps caused the plane to pitch up to 500 fpm to slow. This only happened twice out of 8 approaches. Normally you are configured at this point, but i was curious. The airplane deviated from the glide path. I expected the plane to nose over to stay on path. The other time it happened I was descending to the IAF in VNAV. The aircraft pitched up to slow and missed the calculated crossing altitude. This may be the case on Boeings as i only have Gulfstream Honeywell experi…

Hey guys, first of all congrats on a FANTASTIC addon. It´s truly my new favorite...even after only 2 flights. Question: I´ve been having a known problem with squawkbox 4...the old Assertion Failed Error....which is somehow connected to the C+++ Application. Could it be that with the 737NGX I´ve installed another version that fixed that problem? This would be just awesome.

i still am unable to activate the ngx i get the error cannot connect to the activation server. but i dont think the problem is on PMDG's side. i am unable to download real world weather and my flightsim news feed wont work. but everything with my internet connection is fine! any ideas?

Hi, I have today reinstalled FSX to get it properly setup for the NGX. On Friday I completed my first NGX flight on my 'old' FSX installation and all was well. Hello,Yesterday I bought this bird, I have to say I love it. I already did the first tutorial flight successfully, but it's a little useless to me, because it doesn't say anything about startup. I know, there is a QRH, but it's way to long, and it's got about 409583048 pages about startup. I'm a pretty experienced PMDG flyer, of both the 747 and MD-11, but I have no experience with the 737 at all (except for the default one which is ######). My problem is my engine startup, because I don't exactly know how to do it. After some time, I managed to start the engines seperately, but then when I moved the thrust lever, only engine one responded to thrust changes, and yes both…

Have noticed especially in virtual cockpit mode if I use the hat switch on my X52 Pro to zoom in and out the Autopilot disconnects itself. If you use the keyboard to zoom this does not happen.
