Hello, I would like to start off by thanking PMDG and the beta testers who put the hard work into this airplane, it is absolutely beautiful and it is by far the best $70 I have spent in a while and I look forward to the expansion packs. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I have been experiencing with this aircraft. I program everything into the FMC correctly, I climb without an issue, but the main problem I noticed with LNAV and VNAV enabled while I cruise is that the airplane seems to rock left and right (it stays on course though) and there isn't an issue flying the route, it is just that it will rock into random 5-10 degree banks then do the s…

KLAS-KIAH. I have tried this flight 5 times and each time I cannot accomplish an Autoland. I can land manually (sort of) I set up my approach 8R I am on the LOC althought BCRS is annunciated. I pick up the GP at 3000 ft now at this point if I want to autoland I would click CMD B which should then engage and Flare annunciates. This is not happening. I cannot engage both AP's it just switches. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong here. on the PFD I am perfectly centered on the LOC.... Guthrie Z

Hello guys, I'm having a very strange problem. My FPS at Aerosoft EHAM aren't very good, say 15-20. But when i take off, my FPS drop even futher to 13-15 fps, this is very strange because i would say when i'm off the airport my FPS should go up. At Aerosoft Madrid I'm having 25+ FPS at the ground, and after takeoff its very stable at 30 FPS by the external FPS limiter. I don't think it is really NGX related, but still I'm wondering if anyone experienced the same? My specs are in my signature. Thanks

ultimate traffic 2 files are missing from fsx and i have no traffic left now after installing ngx 2 days ago,things were fine till today ,now i have ctd on loading the aircraft with run out of memory message,and on loading md-11 found ultimate traffic to be missing from fsx.this is on win 7,64 bit, with fsx sp-2, i7-2600k, gtx 590, 8 gb ramvivek anand

This might work for others, it certainly did for me. Ive gone from 25 Frames per sec to 50 by ditching my old fsx.cfg and rebuilding a new one, then tweaking with *******. I already had a ******* tweaked .cfg before the NGX install but the fresh one works even better after. Not sure if this is a coincidence or what would have changed to make things better ??? Have a go and report back as im interested to know if this works for all ;o)

My speeds on approach for the ils start acting erratic , for a reason the speed goes up and down. I am not the first with this problem because others on my VA have the same problem. ThANKS

Hey all, Just got the NGX yesterday and it worked fine until this morning. I went to select ti in the FSX free flight menu and I got a "Fatal error has occurred" message and FSX crashes. I tried reinstalling the NGX and now it doesn't come up with an activation window asking for the activation code. Now i can't activate it and it still gets the crash. Can anyone help?

This is very strange. When i want to move my place of view up or down with EZDOK camera on (Page up or Page down), the throttles from the 737 NGX moves forward and backward like it is the case with the buttons F2 and F3.I've already checked the buttons in FSX....nothing is assigned to page up or page down. Also not in FSUIPC.Has anybody the same behaviour? Is there any solution? Thanks a lot for your help!

Hello All, Well did my first test flight with the 737NGX all went well until I was in my descent into SEA from SJC and I was going through the FMS to make sure I got things setup just right for my arrival when all of a sudden the sim freezes and then shuts down and I get a Fatal error that FS had to shutdown wierd issue. My specs are as follows: Windows 7 64bit Asus P7P55D-E Pro MB I7 870 2.93 oc to 3.8mhz 250gts 1GB DDR3 video card and 8gigs of memory and 2 1tb hard drives hope this hope blueskies. Brett Wells

Hello all, I just recently purchased the brand spankin' new NGX, and boy what a plane!!! Although the wait turned out to be almost more than some could bear, in my opinion it was well worth it. Anyhow, on to my question: I've been reading through the massive documentation included with the plane to familiarize myself with it and would love to be able to have a checklist handy. Yet, nowhere in the 3000+ pages of documentation could I find one. I thought this odd since I know they released a checklist with the FS9 version of the 737NG. I know you can get them printed, bound and laminated with either the chief pilot's or captain's manual set, but I couldn't find them by them…

While on the ground, when i make a turn, the camera seems to move as if its leaning to the outside of the turn. I wouldn't mind so much except it doesn't go back after the turn is complete. It does not do this in the air either. Any suggestions??

I am waiting of delivery of a new motherboard and then hoping to buy the NGX but before I do I need to know if it will run smoothly on my system. I have read varying tails on the forum but many of them without specs. ...and have since then just enjoyed her beauty both on the outside and inside trying to startup the engines, testing all systems etc etc without even taxi her but today I decided to try a first very short testflight. First of all I don't want to start off on the wrong note so I will start by saying thatthis aircraft is simply the most amazing aircraft ever developed for FS and probably for years to come. Stunning work as usual. My question:I have been finding taxiing extremely difficult in the 738 because the breaks have close to no effect what so ever... anybody else notice this?

I m going to purchase the NGX this weekend, and I was just wondering if someone that also owns the 747-400X could comment on how the frame rates compare between the two products? Just trying o figure out what to expect. With the -400X I get about 25-60 frames per second depending on the airport, and 10 frames at worst, so I would be delighted if the 737NGX performed even better!

when i load the ngx it crashes a few times and then it works after a couple of times. also my graphics look horrible it looks like the default 737 i have my aircraft graphics maxed out. any other people having the same problem.

I've got a pretty good system (i7 930 @4.2Ghz, GTX 470, W7 Home Premium,1TB for W7, 150GB Velociraptor for FSX) but for some reason my FPS with the NGX aren't good at all. I get 20+ FPS on the ground at most airports, but right after takeoff, FPS slow to 1-3FPS! I'm running all the tweaks mentioned in the Intro. Any ideas? Thanks. Hi, I am really enjoying the NGX and have not had any problems with it whatsoever. There is only one thing I've found difficult so far - vertical speed mode. When departing from a given airport, I select HDG mode, SPEED and then I seect the V/S button after haaving chosen my desired altitude. The problem is that despite having +2000, +3000 or even +4000 the aircraft goes noe down into a dive. I am stumped! Can someone give me some guidance on this? It is the ONLY problem I am having - besides finding time to fly the NGX between nappy changes and bottle feedings!!!

Hi folks, After having enjoyed a couple of flights at daytime with everything working as it should, I just ran into lots of problems when flying at night. - First thing I noticed was that the TRANS ALT defaults to 17000ft, although I had set this to 5000 via the PMDG menu in the CDU.- The strobe lights don't seem to work.- Once I was ready for taxi, the throttles on my joystick didn't respond, neither did the engines displays. They were "frozen" at 31% N1. Changing thrust via the F3 key worked, but the displays were still frozen. Hello, I noticed that I cannot set my fuel levels in the aircraft. I go to the fuel/payload before I start the flight and set my desired levels, but then it just resets to 100% when I click ok and go back into game. Any idea why this is?

Well, the NGX is a thing of beauty and it's been a fun couple days getting to know it a little. It has also brought back the reality of how much of a cluster @#$% FSX is. Thanks to the great intro section of the manual and the very helpful configuration tool that it links to, the game works reasonable well in the starkest of conditions and at altitude. Any attempt, however, to spice things up with a medium size airport with some traffic is met with harsh punishment in frame rates. It really just sucks the enjoyment out of what should be great experience. This is certainly no fault of PMDG. It's been a couple years so I guess it's time to plan out another computer build. A…
