should i? is it works fine with the NGX?

I recently buyed the new NGX. I'm cockpit builder, and I would like to migrate from my old NG under FS 2004 to new NGX with FSX. Last week I begins to install in a new HDD from zero. I installed the new NGX, with SP1c update with SDK support. Due to excellent job of PMDG and Paolo (CPFlight), my hardware, MCP, EFIS & ATC module, works fine with new NGX. But.... I've too Opencockpits hardware, and I've a doubt with it. One part works fine, but other part not works. Hi....I have a problem with 737 ngx...when I move my mouse in V/C to keys & knob,no information displayed..also in overhead panel..Just have information about Flaps & Trim ...is it something wrong with it or not?? Sorry for bad english

Is this a bug or am i missing something: I'll be descending in LNAV and VNAV mode happy as larry, then sometimes, as high as 10,000 feet, the plane switches itself into APP mode with the light on the autopilot control panel and changes course chasing the localiser. Its happened to me multiple times at different airports and at different descent altitudes. (caused me to crash into a mountain once on a tricky approach) It generally happens after I switch to the ils frequencies on the pedestal. I look down and swap the frequencies and look up and autopilot is in APP mode - but a few times it has happened as I have been just sitting watching the descent not touching a…

Folks, juts ran into some sort of dead end problem here... Is there really no way to assign an FSX key command to access 2D panel popups that have IDs greater than 9? I can't seem to figure out a way how to popup the F/O CDU upon key command for example. Should there really be no way of doing so, could the devs maybe think of adding such key commands through their custom key input system that's already present on the NGX? As we know you can click on the CDU in the VC and it would popup, so I would assume it should be possible to have this linked to a key command internally as well just as all the other possible controls. Okay, I'll admit upfront I'm a dumb-dumb. I'm hoping to do a uninstall and fresh reinstall to clean up some hiccups I've been having with NGX / fs2crew combo. But for the life of me, I can't find my original NGX download. So my question is once I've uninstalled, not sure where to look to reinstall. And can't remember whether I'll need to reinstall both the 600/700 series and the 800/900 series. Thanks in advance.

Who has GSX with the NGX?? Do you guys think it's good? I'm going to try the demo in a bit, but I was wondering the opinions here. Also, do you think they will update GSX to make it compatible with the 777? I saw it has this "Live Update" system. I sent FSDT an email, I hope to hear back from them soon.And 1 more question, it says it's compatible with 3rd party addons as well as FSDT addons and other payware airport addons. How does it behave in freeware AFCAD enhancements? For example, the ones that you get off AVSIM and they add a new terminal or whatever? Do you recommend it?Thank you for your help

Alright, after JUST posting to Daniel Choen about how there are no magic bullets that give you quantum leaps in FSX performance, and how it is actually a longer list of a dozen or two small things done correctly that add up to performance (i.e. loading FSX in the right place, Sliders set correctly, config tweaks, hardware, etc etc...) I am now eating crow! The specs of my machine are in my signature, and its no slouch actually... but I would always stare in longing at youtube videos of FSX footage that looked so much smoother than mine... epsecially on things like approaches to large airports etc... Since installing SP1C I have noticed a problem with cockpit lighting. When I turn on the dome light all the 2D panels go black. I also lose the digits on the MCP.

I know the T/O value is calculated by the FMC, but what about the landing? Do I need to worry about that? Something interesting I noticed is that I can still hear the wheels moving after disconnect the A/P so maybe it's still an automated process. As you can see, I'm a total beginner on this matter. :Loser:

When I load the airplane and sitting at the gate I cannot see the airplane just some parts of it. I thought the latest version fixed this. I get this all the time when I'm at FSdt airports. My PC cant be much better than it is. Can anyone tell me why this is happening please?

Please tell if it is possible for two persons to fly PMDG 737 connected to Gamespy like it is possible using defolt FSX craft. The problem is... when another "pilot" joins the plane it shows the message something like (I don't know what exactly, because I have it in Russian): "Instrumental panel loading error". As result... all gauges lies, almost all switches are out of order. What can I do with it?

Hello, When moving the throttle to maximum, using Saitek quadrant or simple keyboard key [F4] the levers will go to the maximum position and then always jump back and then move slightly up and down. I would assume this is not very realistic. I tried with another plane, like Airbus A321 that comes standard with FSX and there is no such issue. Throttle moves to max and stays there. Anybody is experiencing the same? Thanks, Edgard

Hi Folks! Something strange happened here! After a flight, when at the gate, after turning on the APU, I,ve put the fuel levers to cut-off position, but nothing happened. The engines did not shut off! Anyone with similar issue? Greettings

I'm going to keep this brief! After recent events with the change in licensing with Prepar3d, will there be any support from PMDG to use the NGX in Prepar3d. I have read past posts about how PMDG show little interest based on the customer type and licensing for Prepar3d but things appear to have changed regarding the licensing for Prepar3d. What future do we see with the NGX and Prepar3d based on these recent changes, if any?

When the ER is released, will the performance data necessary to calculate takeoff performance be included? The information for the normal models is already included. I know the FMS can calculate this, but it doesn't take runway length into account, and thats' kinda important. I know about TOPCAT, but it doesn't have the ERs or 700s with 24K thrust.
