Hi, Where and when do you monitor the brake temperatures? I can see that it is displayed on the lower CDU but during landing you want to focus on the runway right :-) Thanks Michael

Hello everybody, I have done a little search in the forum about this problem but I didn't find anything. So I'm here writing... Today I have used the NGX for the first time after SP1c installation. I have used brand new panel files (not previoulsy saved) and the aircraft behaved correctly for the first part of the flight. Everything OK! ;) When I started descent anyway...the aircraft started to turn suddenly to the left and to the right loosing completely the magenta line on the ND and performing turns till 60° of bank. I have tried in many ways (selecting HDG SEL, resetting LNAV mode etc.) but nothing helped. After a couple of these turns the aircraft regain…

I fly with service-based failures on all the time. I realize that this does not mean that something HAS to go wrong in that period or even if you fly far beyond the 250 hour service period, but I was just curious about something... Have you ever had a catastrophic failure in flight? as modelled by the sim? Engine fire, Flame out, Critical decompression of the main cabin or flight deck, primary hydraulic failure? I mean, without having the particular catastrophe "scheduled" in either the specific failures page or the random during a set time period... I was just wondering... While on a flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from Miami, I was reading a book…

What are the number wheels on the control colums used for? Ref speeds, weights etc???. I would really like to know. Regards Darren.

Anyone here who also would like to see that when the apu is running you see some heat from the exhaust comming out? That would be very nice.... So, PMDG can you include this in the next service pack :Kiss:

Just wanted to take the time to say thanks PMDG AGAIN for such a great product . I feel the same satisfaction today when ever i fly the NGX as of when it was released . As of today the charter company i flight with berely gets me in a 738 like they used too but i do get one or two flights a month must of the other are small jets .once again thanks im looking foward to the 777.........

Hello, I am in the process of acquiring components (recently got a brand-spanking new i7-2600k ) for a new computer. I was juggling with the idea of continuing with my current monitor but it really isn't that good and a small bug recently somehow found its way under the screen. Does anyone have recommendations for a good monitor? Not too sure on my price range, nothing too expensive, perhaps high one hundreds to low to mid two hundreds? But really I don't know what is available for what price, any ideas? Thanks,

HiI will begin a projekt to build a motorized: throttle, yoke and peddals but I must know that the hardware will work without problem in this aircraft?It does might work as saitek hardware and the hardware is just replacing sutch a hardware, does not it?Best Fredrik

Is there a way to send a complete FLight Plan I enter into my FMC on to someone else to use as a flight also, and is there a way to store my flight plans as a company flight plan for future use. Thanks Joe Restivo

Hello,I'm reading trough the FCOM Vol.1 and I've came across anti-ice operations. As far as I can see, the general suggestion is to use Engine AI and Wing AI anytime temperature is below 10°C (OAT or TAT if in flight) and icing conditions are present. As far as the EAI goes, if I understand correctly, it should be on anytime those conditions are present. But the manual states that it should be NOT be on "during climb and cruise when the temperature is below -40°C SAT". Can someone explain that to me? I'd expect it to be on when temperatures get below a certain point, not when they are above, but surely I am missing some important part. :)Regarding the WAI the FCOM got me …

hi all, is any one using FS Realtime (the latest version) on WideFs? I had an older version that I used with FS9 that I ran on WideFs, but when I upgraded to the latest version for some reason I can't get it to see FSX on my client machine. It works great at keeping my UTC time in the NGX, but if possible I'd like to run it on my other PC via WideFS. Thanks Richard

Please comment and tell me your experiences about flying with IVAO. If you fly NGX with IVAO do you have problems or crashes? Because many of flight simmers report problems about fsx which unexpectedly crashes and quits if they fly with IVAO (possibly with NGX). I don't know but perhaps fsx doesn't like running with NGX and IVAO... So do you ever experience fsx crash under IVAO? And how do your frame rates behave under IVAO? Do they fall down (from ~30 to e.g.: 24-25 fps) Thank you every comment/suggestion/recommendation/remark or whatever:) in advance too, Marwan

Hey all, I have a question. Below is attached a picture of what I THINK is a problem that I am having with the 737NGX. I can not get the flight control page to come up with the hydraulics. I have SP1c and acceleration So SP2. I thought that the flight control page was suppose to be there when you hit the SYS button.

I have some problems with graphics, I have attached a two pictures and my system info.it's not only with FSX. Same happens with FS9, if i watch videos or pictures etc.I have this problem for a couple of days, i don't know what happens and i don't remember anything that may be a reason. Before i instaled new nvidia driver, i did complete uninstall of old driver and cleanup with "driver sweeper".I think that new driver is not reason, i tried to uninstall and install old driver, without results. I Tried monitor settings, nvidia control panel settings etc. with same results.I have my fsx set as is recommended by Ryan, i didn't change any settings in FSX, graphics or monito…

How do you do this? Can someone be kind enough to teach this biff. I've tried looking through FCOM and the training manual but to no avail. Thanks Craig.

This is for the Button version. Starting the NGX in a "long" state and ground power unto before push back, then using APU for start. Also using GSX. You must know how to set up and use the CDU.

Today I downloaded the SP for FS2CREW and their documentation recommended uninstalling the NGX and reinstalling SP1C. Since doing this I no longer have any external view. I see things like a pair of cabin doors etc but no full aircraft. I have 6 -7 -8 and 900's SP1c. FS2CREW, GSX and EZDOK. Any ideas??

Hey guys, I´ve just set up my Saitek pedals for use with the NGX (which I fly 90% of the time) and I´ve finally figured out how to get the brakes working via the default axis alligment.But I have one odd issue with the NGX: When I try to brake via the pedals, it will brake but as I release the pedal again, it won´t happen. I have to turn the barke automatic knob away from off and the back to release the barke again. If I use a button, there´s no problem at all. is ther some kind of fix or might I get rid of that via FSUIPC?

Hi, Question : if I copy and paste all the "Run Timer" lines in the .ini file from a plane to an other, is it the correct way to transfer flight hours from a plane to an other or are there some other things to do ? Thank you in advance, Regards, Richard Portier
