PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. Hi Guys, I realise this isnt perhaps the right place to ask this but I am sure someone here will have a solution.... For no apparent reason, my comp suddenly has decided to not find my saitek controllers and a logitech 3d wingman . I have tried to reinstall all drivers etc but my machine simply will not show these connected devices. Have tried just about everything to rectify this not still pulling my hair out ! If it helps, before this happened I installed the Avlasoft efb and am running over the main pc with fsx and a laptop for the display unit. Also tried to set up a home group then abandoned that idea - just now sharing files. Any pointers or …

    Well, I am very happy with the NGX, this is actually the first product I bought from PMDG and I am highly aticipating the 777. At this point I want to say thank you to the PMDG team and everyone who was involved in this tremendous project. Thank you! Now to my "comlains" - I always wanted to open the windows in the cockpit, like in the Airbus X. This is a feature I am realy missing since it adds some kind of "feel" to the whole simulation.   5. This is off topic totally for NGX FSX product, but does relate to the real NG aircraft. Looking at both the A320 and B73NG from photos, it seems that the main gear struts on the Airbus are approximately twice as long as the NG- presumably to deal with how the wing box joins the fuselage. Does anyone have these dimensions? I have googled this but can't seem to find anything. This is not an "A vs B" issue, just wanting to understand. :) Thanks, Bruce.

    Hi guys, I'm flying a lot with this beautiful plane and yesterday I noticed a probable issue. I was on IVAO and established on the ILS at around 1000 feets when I had a TCAS resolution because an ATR was taking off on the opposite runway (it happens sometimes with newbies). Anyway my TCAS announced "Descent ! Descent !" and then "Climb ! Climb!". I was low so I let you imagine my face when I heard "Descent!". On Airbus TCAS resolution is inhibited below 1500 or 2000ft (I don't remember exactly). Is this implemented on B737? If yes, what about the PMDG B737 ?

    I have entered the V Speeds automatically using the calculations, but when i hit the TOGA button the F/O is quiet, he doesn't say 80 knts V1, Rotate etc... how do i make him talk :D Thanks Alex :)

    I have this now as a fault. I understand it to be with back pressure being to great having the APU bleed air valve open causes this if you do anything more than idle thrust due to the APU not having a modulating shut off valve like the engines do. I understand anytime the dual bleed light is on you should not go above idle thrust. I think what happened is now with FSCrew, the f/o might be turning on the bleed air when he starts the APU on roll out at our destination. Is there any other way for this fault to occur? As well I have 33 hours until my 250 hour check. Is it ok to fly with this fault or no?

    So, I saw an SP2 wishlist thread, and thought I'd write one too. 1. Cabin Altitude/Takeoff Config light. My understanding is that they're standard on new 737s, so it would add a bit of realism. 2. Some failure system enhancements. Flap failures would be awesome, and would add some realism. 3. Manual gear extension. I don't care if this is modelled realistically, or if they can simply be dropped with a key press, but as it is now a hydraulic system B failure unrealistically leads to a belly landing.     Greetings, After uninstalling and reinstalling FSX, I've tried to reinstall 737 NGX. I, for the life of me, cannot figure out how to reinstall this thing! I referenced my original email with the order and I clicked the URL and of course, it didn't work (apparently it's only good for 10 days). Where is the link to reinstall the 737 NGX??     Ever since I reinstalled FSX I have been having a problem with the livery manager, mostly on the 737-800 because I can install one livery and then when I try to install another one it completes and then I click on the plane (in the manager) and then there are no liverys there. Please help kind of annoying to only be able to have one livery, on the 700 and 600 however I can have more than one livery so I don't know why its only on the 800

  15. Hi there, without a doubt the NGX is the most realistic modern airliner for FS ever. Watching some youtube videos while enroute I stumbled over the Honeywell Runway Awareness and Advisory system. Air Berlin uses this system in their 737 for example. I can't imagine how complex this would be to integrate, but it would be a really great addition to this already almost perfect plane.     Is there any way to keybind the virtual cockpit views (Virtual Cockpit, Overhead Upper and Lower Panel and Center Pedestal) to the F-keys? This would really make things a lot easier for me, since it would get rid of the constant mouse-clicking. I'm not interested in spending the massive amount of money to get IrTracker or whatever it's called. Thank you in advance!

  17. Gentlemen. I can bring up the OH panel using Shift + 6. However, this is a static mode and one cannot pan up, down etc. In the Virtual Cockpit (VC) mode I can pan up from the glare shield and instruments to the Overhead Panel. However, when I do so from the Captain's side I see the HUD shield. As I pan to the right of the OH panel, the display begins to rotate almost 180 degrees, and the display of the OH panel becomes difficult to read. The section of the OH panel above the Co-Pilot is not legible, cannot make it out. Is there anything I can do in the VC mode so that when I pan up from the glare shield to the OH panel, I am able to see the OH panel with…

    On our PMDG 737NGX, the FMC - the menu key allows you to configure the displays (flight director type, call outs, gauges etc). Is that a real option on the 737NGX? Can the pilot configure the displays like we can - or are they stuck with the 1 configuration from the factory?

    I downloaded and installed the PMDG 737 NGX about a month ago, and just installed SP1c, it said it was already installed, but went ahead and did the install. Should I have installed SP 1b first, or does SP1c include any changes made in SP 1b ? Joe Restivo (ress)

    Hello All,When flying any of the NGX aircraft, the time at next waypoint in the top right corner of the navigation display behaves in an eratic fashion, continually flashing random times very quickly. The times on page two of the legs page on the CDU also change eratically although more slowly. Can any body tell me if there is something I have missed in the pre-flight or is it a bug?Regards,Stephen.

    Hi guys, Brand new to the forum so please forgive me if i'm asking anything that has been covered before... Just point me to where its been covered before and I'll take a look. Just got my PDMG 737 NGX and its a lovely plane. However my cockpit looks very distorted compared to other vids I've been watching on you tube. To be able to view the gauges properly in the VC I have to zoom right in...Any solutions? Also when cockpit is in normal 2d mode its practically un-viewable. In fact, I'd go as far to say that the standard FSX 737 looks amazing compared. Can't figure out what it is. Graphics card is a GTX 560ti. Help appreciated.

  25. I bought the NGX in January and it was working fine until today. The 800 WL isn't showing up in livery manager. I tried repairing but it wants the RTM.exe and I don't know where that is. I paid $70 for this thing, so please help!
