PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I just found a bug on the 700 wl airstairs. The bottom step is missing. Check the picture. It is circled in red. I have the sp1c version.

Just installed FSX and Acelleration on a spare PC and ran the PMDG 737NGX installer. Then did SP1C update. The only other thing I installed was the VLC New Zealand landclass. Crashes and doesnt load instruments at all. The 737 loads but the cockpit is cold and dark, nothing I click does anything and after a few clicks it crashes FSX to the desktop. Windows 7 64-bit No other hardware/software/antivirus installed yet. Am logged in as a local administrator. What am I missing here folks have I done something stupid?

I was setting up my flight to use the tutorial #2, EHAM to LOWI, and somewhere along the path I have messed up the HUGS. It appears that the display with the hgs is in some type of zoom mode and is moved down to the lower left corner. I have tried using the eyepoint positioning controls and am able to move the display about the center of the hgs but either the hgs is zoomed in while the display within is zoomed out (hope that makes sense). Anyway, not sure what keyboard key I hit or some switch on the aircraft that I mistakenly hit, but if someone could sort of point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. At this point I can not use the hgs to assist with the…

I wrote a new checklist for the 737. It's based on the QRH normal checklist, and the things that seem easy to forget to do. I made it for my own use, but it seems pretty good, so I figured I'd offer it here to anyone who might find it useful.

The new NGX for some reason at about 500 feet agl, does not need any crab and will " lose" the crosswind effect. No crab is required below 400-500 feet. The wind is set all the way to the surface. You can see it on the HSI and the heading and track will be matched instead of crabbed even thought there is a 90 degree 25 kt crosswind. Any ideas?

Hi! I've tested the SFP on my PMDG 738WL - once at INN and at SDU. I saw no difference at the take-off distance! Is that ok - made SFP no changes at the T/O distance?? The only way to reduce my T/O distance is TO-B. Plese some info about that! The next quest. is, how to calculate the T/O with SFP! Ando, is the FMC-Option TO-B a part of SFP or not. Hi All, I am having issues for a paint I was working on for a friend that owns the PMDG 737NGX and I attach 2 pictures the 1st on the aircraft and the second the paintkit, any ideas much appreciated as I see others have had no issue: The issue I have is on the paintkit the chrome is perfectly straight but when in FSX the top part is curved Help !!

Hello NGX pilots. Does anyone know if there is anyway I can change the startup state in the aircraft file or other root readme files? I changed it in the FMC for the default load state (cold and dark), but it seems to not save it for the default load. i keeps loading with the "default systems ready" Thanks Sean L

Hello, I installed the 737 NGX once, have the activate without problem. Six months later, I reinstalled but I can not activate it because the server says I have exceed the number of activation. I can not find the solution, if anyone can tell me how. Thank you in advance. Kamel.

Does anyone know if you can skip the start up and taxi steps and then use the voice just for takeoff and landing or do you have to start from cold and dark? Thomas Thompson

Hey, Can someone confirm that the NGX allows 2d panels to be displayed on additional monitors while the main vc is run in fullscreen (not windowed) Cheers

On the 2-D panel I am staring at the ground. I can only see 50-100 feet in front of the aircraft. I have tried to adjust with shift+enter but this moves the entire panel up or down, I need to "raise th epilots head" can this be done, any fix? Thomas Clifton

I was on the approach to 28L at KSFO and the localizer was already alive and locked in, when I received a TCAS warning message and ATC instruction and the copilot was saying the one item in the approach checklist all at exactly the same time... From the little bit that I could gather from the TCAS warning it said something like "Alert, crossing *something* *something*" along with an "increase rate of decent instruction" I got extremely flustered because of the volume of information all at once instant and kind of "vapor locked" I think that next time the TCAS says anything I will simply ignore all other information... Hi to all fellow simmers and captains alike, First id like to say i really love the NGX and a big thanks goes to the PMDG Dev team for the man hours they still put into this excellent sim :clapping: Now id like to say im sorry if this was already talked about but i couldin find it anywhere "Not that good with PC's" so please dont eat me up if it was and i know everything aint possible. Anyway my question is the capabilities of the NGX, Like does ice affect it as it would in real life? Adding on more weight to the plane and affecting takeoff and landing.
