PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. Started by ksta,

Hi. I've noticed that the 1R-door handle on the NGX appears to be located on a lower position when compared to the 1R-door-handle position on an actual NG 737. In the following attatchments, I've used a green line to compare the door-handle positions with the passenger windows. I would like to know if this is an actual error because the displacement seems pretty obvious. Like before, this is not an argument thread, a flame thread, a "nitpicking" thread, or a "rivet-counting" thread; this is a thread meant for the sole purpose of pointing out a potential external-model error and discussing it in the hopes of determining whether or not it is an actual error that can be …

Hi, I first want to ask forgiveness because the text is translated by google, sorry I only speak Spanish. I have the problem that when I'm in flight every five minutes FSX freezes me as if to close but getting back all normal. Then again in five minutes to do the same and so throughout the flight. I have the latest version (3219) and what else may be happening. Someone would have a solution? Thanks in advance. Greetings.

Hi, This is for those of you that have the Opencocpits MCP and can't wait to use it together with the NGX. Dowwload files from : https://docs.google....VmNjI1&hl=en_US 737NGX_Shortcuts goes to FSX folder \ PMDG\ PMDG 737 NGXFSUIPC4 and PMDGNGX_1 goes to FSX folder\ ModulesMCP_PMDGNGX_1 and sioc goes to your SIOC folder You need FSUIPC ( paid version) and you need to modify the sioc config file to point to your usb device number in addition to change theinputs, outputs and dispaly numbers to the your original OC MCP numbers. ( This because the SIOC script here is my configuration, based on my own OC M…

Hey all, As I said in my other topic, my PC doesnt handle big airports like Heathrow, Gatwick Amsterdam etc very well! It is flyable but not a great experience. I would be very happy flying routes between smaller low traffic airports which are flown in the real world across Europe. Could anybody suggest some good routes? For example, flying out of Rhodes airport gives me great FPS and beautiful scenery! Thanks

  6. Hi fellow simmers. I have developed an NGX-FSUIPC4 integration to facilitate access of the NGX data from FSUIPC/Lua. The idea is to allow developers to implement their own modules to support panels taking advantage of the facilities that FSUIPC provides. It's a modular design and the installer includes some devices, ready to use (ok, only one so far hehe). So far the only fully functional module included is the GoFlight MCP, which is an adaptation of Stephen Munn's Lua script. All credit for that module goes to him. If anyone develops a module for a new device, please let me know so I can add it to the installer. Instructions and description bellow: …

Hey folks, I have some troubles with my KLM Sky Team repaint, when I install the repaint into a empty folder without any other repaints, everything works how it should: But as soon as I try to install other liverys, My Sky Team livery is now the Alaska Airlines livery, and the normal KLM livery is my Sky Team, and so on.... Does anyone has the same problem, or know how I can fix it ? I never had this problem before, and I can't find (my?) fault. Here is the part of the aircraft.cfg [fltsim.0] title=Boeing 737-900NGX PMDG House Winglets sim=B737-900WL model= panel= sound= texture=pmdg kb_checklis…

Hi There, I've noted that Ifly has released a cockpit builders edition, which helps with networking computers for cockpit builders. Is this an avenue that it been explored by PMDG, or is something already available to assist with this? Keep up the good work guys. PMDG forever :drinks: Matt

Hi Guys, As stated above I am pretty new to all this so please bear with me if you could. First of, when I installed NGX, there was a recommendation that I got my FSX.cfg file optimised for my system which I did. Problem I have now got is that this new file conflicts with some of the "settings" recommendations for NGX - Which ones to use? Second off & I know it has been covered in other posts but I am yet to find a difinative answer, I keep getting a FSX app crash when exiting an NGX flight. I think it is known on the board as a CTD error or similar? You know the sort of thing which ends up with a red warning hexagon after FSX re loads. Anyhow I just wonde…

Hi, my issue with the 737 is that when i activate autobrake the plane does brake until 0 knots and i can't deactivate the brakes. The only way to deaktivate the brakes is to set the parkbrake and deactivate it. I don't have any problem with the 747. I'm using fsx on 64bit vista, no rudder pedalls. Any guess? Thanks in advancce. Have been flying with saigek gear for the last year and am finding that im not manually flying th ngx as much as id like. I know autoflight is realistic but id like to get a more realistic/immersive manual flight experience...So am looking at purchasing a new yoke and maybe a throttle quad in the very near future.Atm, thinking of: pfc saab yoke. I want lots of buttons on the yoke, i use these to look around the different panels (obviously not needed on a real yoke). Am thinking desktop version rather than column as its about half the price. The 737 versions seem much more expensive for no real reason.Jetmax throttle quadrant, when released in jan. alternative would be the…

  19. Hi, I'm currently doing some research on building a cockpit for the NGX. My question here is around the software that will power the flight displays on the MIP. I know we can undock the flight displays on the NGX, but this is a little limiting as some of the displays will be powered by other computers. So, I was thinking of using Orion 737NG DU. I've done some testing with the demo version of Orion, and I have found that there are several issues. As Orion is script driven, I'm sure these issues can be worked out, but it will take some time. I also wouldn't want to reinvent the wheel, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask the question here. Has anyone…

Hi, I would like to know if the below issue is a known problem and if there is a solution for this, have tried to find some related posts but no success...It seems that the plane, for some reason is not initializing and some gauges are distortedThe issue appears almost every time the NGX is loaded and can only be solved loading another plane first or initializing the flight several times.

  23. Hi fellas, Over the last days/weeks i've had like 10 temperature warnings from the ASUS software. Alerts that did not show up in the past. So at first sight i thought about temperatures rising at this time of the year or a high over clock frequency + high cpu voltage etc.... So i rolled back to 4.8GHZ and monitored the cpu temperature while loading and running fsx: and the temp was way higher than what i used to get in April/MAy 2011 when Ryan was helping me out put this machine together. So this morning, as i was in the mood for some maintenance in my case i've removed the cooler over the CPU to see if some more thermal compound was needed and clean up the heatsink …

Hi fellow captains. Through the Nividea Control Panel I span 3 monitors together. Configure SLI, Surround, PhysX Span displays with Surround Configure Bezel correction Yes, add special resolutions (but I did try the other options too) 1. There is a message: "To reduce stretching, change the game's aspect ratio. Don't know if FSX has that possibility. 2. In the virtual cockpit there is some stretching in the left and right corners. However if you open one of the panels, like the FMC and Radio, its 3 or more times too wide. 3. The most severe problem is the 2D cockpit. Instead of the 2D cockpit there is nothing (black). The 2/3 upper half is the outside…
