PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

hy everyonei have an issue with my 737ngx, when i am flying i normaly fast forward long flights (x8 normaly)when i want to go back to the "normal" mode i get a black screen, sometimes also when i exit an fsx menu like the map. the flight is still going, you can heare the sounds en when you move your mouse, you can see where the buttons are, but you only see a black screen. i got fsx, win vista home premium 32 bit, 4gb ram. please can someone help memr scott

Hi I know there was a lot of posting here regarding this issue but I was unable to find the right one after several hours of searching. I had to re-install my PC due to Wind7 crash and after that I found this issue. I was trying to assign two levers for two engines and it did not work right (I followed saitek instructions). It spool up one engine rapidly to full thrust and the other gets stuck half way behind. I then was trying to assign both engines to one lever and it works but thrust spools up faster than I can blink. So I am unable to make it smooth. I do not have registered FSUIPC and I do not use Saitek editor (can't figure out how to work with that, sorry). Any…

Just a question i have read the fcom 11.43.33 and it doesnt go in detail on how go about selecting the fmc after the go around proceedure. For example was doing a flight from ymml to yscb and i had yssy as my alternate airport. I had inserted yssy as my alternate airport in the fmc, than i selected the direct to option as well. On approach to the yscb i initiated a go around thinking the fmc would automatically set my alternate airport so Lnav would take me there but i was wrong. Hey all. I have a problem that has come up that I've never seen before. I open the game and load my ship (737-800) and it loads at the gate normal, I go in to and load a cold and dark panel fine then I start my lists. Some times it's around the time I do the very first step like cutting the bat on other times it could be around APU start up I've had it times where I cant hear ATC so I have to hit ALT to pull up the menu bar and adj. my sound settings and when I come back everything happens... The screen goes black and I cant see but some times can hear stuff. Other times while I'm going through my start up lists the screen will go black and minimize and when I go down to …

I made a big mistake this afternoon. I connected my 46" HD Sony tv to my FSX pc and loaded the NGX. OMG! I need another tv now. For my pc. The tv has the same resolution as my 27" monitor and there is a slight lack of sharpness. Now 46 inches is a little over kill for a desk I know, but now I have to start saving for a 40 inch screen tv to mount to the wall behind the desk. Damn next I'm gonna want to drop some serious coin and build a flight deck in the spare bedroom. :D

I have had so many problems with my computer and fsx meaning i have reset lots of times as soon as i got it sorted and I emailed pmdg to see if they could let me active it again as i was past the max of 5 they said yes so I activated again and then some freeware scenery messed up my fsx the whole addons menu dissapeared so I reset again and I was given one extra registration so i cant activate again and im getting "The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activation exceeded incident 8301 9943482" What can I do? How do I turn off the Auto Climb Power reduction. I have found the section in the options menu where you can set a default height after takeoff. But I would like to do it manually via FS2Crew i.e. "Set Climb Thrust". I thought it would only work with the VNAV armed, but it also works with VNAV off ?

I just wanted to get a conscientious as to the PMDG customer base about FSX stability. Everytime I get the twitch to build a new machine for FSX and the NGX, I find posts stating how you have to constantly deal with CTD's/reformats/etc. On top of that, I'm a C3 rated controller on VATSIM and see people "drop off" due to CTD's pretty constantly. I have all the popular tweak articles bookmarked and plan to us them, even with those, is FSX still THAT glitchy?

hi everyone i notice something on the aircraft . That when i was on a 3 hour flight winds was at 322 MAG @ 83KTS i had the autopilot set as a normal flight LNAV CMM A etc..... An the aircraft perform a bank angle turn am thinking is do to the wind. But doesn't the autopilot keep the plane level better than a human would? I mean in real life they say that an autopilot can keep the plane stable during turbulance faster an better than a human would . An turbulance have to deal with winds on all kind of stuff . So am wondering why the auotpilot doesn't do so in 737NGX

Can someone explain why I always hear the engine sound in vc and the aeroplane is in cold and dark no engines running. When I toggle to outside there is no sound. Also why does the NGX and MD11 go in overspeed when I'm in AP cruz all the time.

This is a problem that has plagued me in other aircraft in FSX besides the 737 NGX...The jet will creep forward very very slowly with the parking brake set AND the chocks in place, with ground idle at 21.4% Thru searching I have found explanations like brake failure from service based failures (which I have turned on) and throttle calibration errors.I'm certain its not simulated brake failure or partial failure of some kind because I checked the appropriate menus to make sure they were clear. Also thru search I found that people had Ground idles that varied from anything from 5% to 29% and yet they mention that the brakes hold the plane in place.I've recalibrated my thr…

Hi everyone i am always getting these wind shift all the time in fsx it is just so anoying when the aircraft just shift left or right all of sudden an goes off course for a bit i get so mad i don't think that happens in the real world . I mean its wind ok i understand but i never seen it happen like that before specialy in a clear sky day . i herd FSUIPC gets rid off it but i have it i just never used it before . Also its not register . But i am running rex weather engine . But i just want these wind shift to stop omg !!

Ok, if you fly the NGX a lot, then read this. I always thought that to have an EFB style thing for yourself you'd need an iPad or similar tablet. Well guess what? A smart phone works just as perfect! I didn't know about that until like right now... I'm now using AirCharts, and I can finally have everything I need (Approach maps, etc.) without having to print them. This reduces this pile: (I have ≈ 43 airport diagrams printed, but approach/departure stuff I used on the computer) To one small device. So, if you have a smart phone (Android, iPhone, etc.) then do what I'm doing.

Hello, I was wondering if somebody has experience in using Saitek's switch panel with NGX. I'd like to use the panel for switching lights and maybe use the rotary switch for transponder. Am I able to map the keys with FSUIPC? Thanks in advance!

What noise does the horncut out on the throttle cancel. I hear all kinds of warning noises, but clicking on the horn cutout button seems to have no effect. Can someone tell me what it does please and thanks? Ed Burton

Do you think maybe in a future update the feature of requesting information such as information about your arrival airport via the FMC would be able to added to the NGX? That would be awesome and very useful! I am guessing the answer is going to probably be no, probably because the developers already reached the maximum capacity for what they can animate? Hey, i know many of you heard how it sounds in real plane when at high altitude, you can not hear the engines, i mean i can actually hear the roar sound from the takeoff at FL360, so how can i get rid of it? it really is annoying. thanks!

Greetings: Quick query regarding the front window view position. I've come form the FS9 PMDG version to the NGX so I'm used to the old position of the front window view (see more sky). The NGX front window appears to show more of the runway runway than I am used to. Is this the viewpoint everyone else is getting? Thanks, Iain
