PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

How do you insert the crz winds at the legs rte data page? you see winds eta and all the points but you can't insert them. Any ideia?

Leveling at cruise, warning sound goes off. Its the sound of the autopilot decuppling. The auto pilot is checked, second auto on ....warning continues. Check everything....warning continues. Then, after twenty minutes, is goes off. Why on and then off, I have no clue. Any ideas appreciated. zach

Hi all, Don't know what happened... Prepared for a routine flight. Everything set up as usual. FMC and flightplan set. Performance initialization complete. Both flight directors on, A/T on, 35000 selected in the MCP, no altitude restrictions in the FMC. Takeoff as usual, no issues. After passing 10,000 I turned off the landing lights, runway turnoff lights and switched off the seatbelt sign. I then "left" the plane climb on its own in VNAV and LNAV mode, and I went for a lunch. When I returned, the plane was flying level at FL280. No altitude restriction in the FMC, no nothing. The altitude selector was set to 35000. Why did it stop climbing at FL280, I have n…

Hi, After i bought a CDU II as a FMC its not possible for me to run ENB anymore (sadly) and therefor i found the displays in the cockpit to be to bright and i have to turn them down in every flight. Is there a smarter solution to this ? Thanks Michael

Almost finished with a major re-work of the bump maps. It's been changed enough that I'm considering it a 2.0 version instead of an update of the previous set. I'd hoped to finish it for the weekend, but I don't want to rush it. Shouldn't be too long, though. I THINK I can easily apply the new mods to the -800 set also, so I should be able to release them at the same time. I have not gotten started on a set for the 600 or 900, but they are still planned. Hey all, When I fly the tutorial into EHAM from EGKK I get extreme FPS lag as I finish crossing the north sea and am looking out over a region of rivers. I usually get a consistent 30fps, dropping to 26 a busy airports, but this brings me down to 13....This doesnt happen anywhere else! Any ideas? Specs core i5 760 @3.5ghz 4gb ddr3 ram gtx 560ti

I have real world Jeppesen approach plates to give away (Australia). These are pages that have been updated and are of no longer use to real world pilots. As many of you are aware there is a Jepp's update twice a month. When this happens I have to throw all the old plates away and they usually go straight into the bin (waste of paper). The changes are usually so small that it does not make any difference to the sim world. Therefore I would like to find somebody who would appreciate these plates. Hi all, I'm currently working toward understanding flight plan training because so far I've focused everything on learning the controls, and spending a lot of time hand flying which I thought would be good prior to letting the AP do it all for me! I've tried codifying everything down into the smallest steps to make things simpler and throughout today (off work!!) I'm going to try and get my head around making my own FP from one of the websites which generate them. I know you can get software to do it automatically but I figure that's a luxury for when I understand how to do it myself, or I'll never get a real understanding of the system in place. I have a feeling that this question has already been asked, but in the 2D cockpit, the knobs on the MCP move much faster than the they do in the 3D cockpit. Is there any way to make the knobs in the 3D cockpit move at this speed as well? Ethan E.

After installing the latest upgrade for the 737's I lost my previously installed liveries. So I set about re-installing them and just can't seem to get it right ... I keep getting an Error Msg "Texture Folder Already Exists" I resorted to downloading the liveries again and placed them all in one folder on the desktop which the LM finds ... then the error. I have installed this FSX addon. When I choose the aircraft in FSX a box appears asking me to input my activation key. It does not allow me to copy and paste the activation key and when I try to type it in the characters get deleted as soon as I type them in! Anyone else have a problem activating I wonder? I'm finding something unexpected with the CDU HOLD page. For example, flying the Tutorial #2 flight, pressing HOLD shows availability of a hold at RTTNB. I am expecting to be offered an EXEC light, to put that hold into the active plan in advance of arrival, but the EXEC light is not there. Is my expectation not correct? Maybe the availability of the hold is only for the missed approach, but then the tutorial filight plan does route via RTT on initial approach too. Also, when trying to copy other down-flight waypoints in as other holds, I click on the waypoint in the LEGS page and the scratchpad copy shows up okay, but when I then click to enter the copied waypoin…

As a long time simmer, I was really excited by the prospect of a PMDG 777. So much so, that I bought the 737NGX as a primer to get an idea what it will be like, even though I've never been a fan of the 737. I have to say, I'm not very happy with it. Maybe I just got in over my head because I honestly don't need the level of operational detail that some on these forum members prefer. I like to start the plane, fly it, and watch it travel to its' destination. I don't like spending an hour on the ground trying to start the thing, which I have yet to do by the way. I notice a lot that my FPS drops to 10 n 8 while am in the VC . But outside the aircraft i get 30 FPS an 50FPS . But in the VC its very low . Also when approaching an airport like KJFK it drops so low . An i don't understand why i don't get this with my other payware . Not even with the pmdg 747 just with this aircraft .

After enjoying many an hour flying the NGX, it's time for me to bow out. I had a catastrophic hard drive failure and lost everything. I didn't purchase the extended download feature (as to be honest, why should I when every other company allows me infinite time to download in most cases?). So now I can't get hold of the bird unless I pay PMDG another $95, which is not something I'm prepared to do. I hope you all have a great time flying the NGX, it's a shame I can't be up there with you. Thanks Matt G

After installing liveries via "Livery Manager" they don't show in game. Never had this problem before. But after recent reinstall liveries don't seem to work. Don't even know what's the problem. Some info: Win7 Home Premium 64bit, NGX patched to SP1c, UAC off, tried installing liveries with and without administrator mode, reinstalled NGX once already, no luck. Let's see, what else... HIGHMEM... thingy set to "1" in fsx.cfg, tried installing liveries from PMDG site - no luck... I guess it could mean worst case scenario - FSX reinstall. But I probably better do a full OS reinstall. In my experience, when I screw up FSX install, I better do a OS clean install...

Well, I just bought the extended D/L service and registered to be able to submit ticket. They say your account has been registered but not verified. Follow the instructions on the email that was sent.. Never have received the email to get verified?? Had them re-send a couple of times-no joy.Does anyone know if their server is down or are they just that busy.. So,guess I will have to wait to get verified in order to get new Url to download NGX Is this correct?? Regards

After installing a new SSD, I uninstalled FSX and did a clean install on the SSD. All is well so I proceed to install the NGX aircraft. I have a conflict apparently since when I press Shift 6, the cursor flashes rapidly back and forth between a hourglass and then cursor and the overhead panel does not pop up. Any suggestions on where to look? I am using Acceleration and operating system is Windows 7 64 bit with 8 megs of memory. All NGX mods are up through "C".

Well, I've been trying to get an email for verification but it never is sent(requested resend several times) When I sign in to the portal it says I'm registered but not verified follow instruction in email that was sent??? Never do get it?? I bought the extended d/l package on April 19 and have yet to get to the point of being verified and be able to submit a ticket for a new URL to download the NGX. BTW, my email account is working (receiving all my other emails just fine just not from this portal from PMDG?? Can anyone offer advice as to how I can get this handled? Thanks for any help!! Well it's been almost 9 months now since the release of the NGX, I just wanted to say after all this time she is by far one of the best addons i have ever experienced. Every flight i do always feels different and i have clocked up some hours in the bird now... I have got hundreds of pounds worth of aircraft in my hanger but funny that this is the only one that is ever installed. . . Last Summer i was told that i had a terminal illness and was not going to be able to work again so you can see that i really get alot of free time and it all goes on the NGX. I can even do the FS2CREW now without the manual.... what am i like hey... Oh well boys and there toys hehehe! Kee…
