PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

ok, this was a hard work but you can now use a lot of functions with my FSUIPC Macro.all Autopilot functions (e.g. ALT knob, IAS knob, HDG knob plus, minus, press, NAV, APPR, etc) the row of the EFIS Buttons (FULL/MAP, TCAS, GSPD/TTG, ET, V/L, LNAV)the FMS buttons (of course not the characters and numbers)left and right feather switchSpoiler armall switches have different sounds.Even the rotaring knobs have sounds now (e.g. ALT plus, minus). I'd like it so.Unfortunately I haven't found out till now how to command the two EFIS BRG knobs.Same with ADF/VOR analog gauge switches and many other useful functions...maybe time will bring...You need registered FSUIPC from the famo…

Has anyone installed the Wx500 with the JS4100 under W7?If so did you have any problems?

I know it's probably not possible in real life, it's not practical, and it's unrealistic, but I'm trying to land at Courchevel with the JS4100, which has a 18.5% grade 1,740' long (too short I know). But this is FSX so I don't care .... but maybe it can't be done, or maybe it can and I'm doing it wrong. My approach and touchdown are acceptable and I make contact near the threshold at about 125 knots and immediately apply Reverse Thrust, brakes and start lifting flaps. However the spoiler does not accuate and I get the voice announcement "Positive Rate of Climb" and I'm launched back into the air where the runway turns convex. Hello,In order to have a better and realistic texture of the rotation of the propellers, how may I cancel the stroboscopic effect which shows the blades instead of to have an almost uniform and transparent disk (i.e: the the propellers of the B1900D or C) ?... :( tBest regardsJean-Pierre Pruleau

Hello,I believe thta I have a problem with my FSX sound when I am using the JS41 Addon. After a short period of time (abount 5 minutes), I loose my sound from my USB headset. It also affects other USB devices on the same hub. It never happens with my FS9 or my FSX with any other addons. If I stop the FSX and play music, all is fine. It only seems to happen with the JS41. I have to terminate the FSX to get the sound back in the FSX program.Any ideas here?Thanks in advance,Ron SagelDell Quad, XP Pro with 4 gigs of ram.

A couple of questions:I am able to couple the FMS to the AP so the programmed route is followed, however, during th flight I do something which disconnects the FMS from the AP. Once NAV mode has been captured, what disconnects the FMS from the AP ? I know I did not hit NAV nor did I disengage the AP.After loading a previously saved flight, the FMS always loads dark....as if it were never programmed ? Doesn't saving a flight also save FMS data ?Thanks,Zach

I am assuming that cruise speed must be managed manually, i.e., this aircraft has no autothrottle capabilities, correct ? Other than setting the speed bugs, does the IAS switch (between the CRS and HDG switches) have any other role ? I guess what I am askling is does this switch make a direct contribution in managing the speed of the aircraft (other than trigerring the v1/vr/v2 announcements) ?Thanks,Zach

Hi, brought the J41 today and just ran the install program and about 2/3 of the way through it threw up j41_5f2c.rra system cannot find file specified error (0x2) tried the retry button didnt work so ignored it and it continued for a few seconds and popped up same msg but for the file J41_b73a.rra so i ignored that one and finished install.I am now in the plane and it so far seems to work however the PMDG menu only shows the 'about' option and that's it, no way to load a panel state or anything else unlike the 747, is the file I d/l from the PMDG site corrupt or something?Anyway anyone know what what's going on here.RegardsPaul Milburn

Good day,Always looking for solution to cancel the stroboscopic effect of propellers in order to get regular spinning without to see the blades instead of having propellers which seem to hesitate for turning. Hi, I am having problem with the JS41 always crashing FSX, I can fly all my other planes with no problems. Here is what happens, I can load the plane, start it up with no problems. Then at any point after that, this is what will happen. Some of the buttons like the autopilot buttons, and some of the instruments with digital readouts like the engine instrument panel and so on all start to get corrupted or it gets broken up into small flashing pixels. Other instruments are fine like the attitude Indicator, Horizontal Situation, and backup gauges. Once this starts it will eventually freeze up everything and I have to restart windows. This can happen when I am taxing or ha…

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious here, but when I select a departure runway at an airport with SIDs in the db, the FMC seems to force me to select a SID and transition. Same thing happens if I try to select a runway/approach at the arrival airport that has STARs. Is there a way around this if I don't want to fly the SID/STAR but want to input the runway and/or approach. Cheers,-Lee

Hello,I wrote an email to the support but maybe you can help me too.I bought the Jetstream just some days ago from the shop and since then I could not manage to do even one flight. Always a complete crash of FSX in the loading process of the JS41. My specs: AMD 64x2 6400+ 8GB RAM ATI HD3850Windows 7 64bit - complete new installation on a new HDD directly after Windows installation I installed FSX then FSX SP1 and SP2 then the Jetstream no other installations, no tuning of settings or something else that means absolute clean installation...start of FSX choose JS41, some airport loading process starts... and crash... I cannot save J41 flight plans. I can program and fly using the FMS just fine, but can never find saved flight plans.Also, I cannot turn on the passenger cabin lights...if that can be done.And flinally, on some landings I cannot get the spoilers to retract. The moving the throttles out of reverse and even the spoiler switch to OFF will not bring them down.Thanks for the help,zach

Captians,I can neither find any documentation in manuals (or on the Net) as to whether or not the JS41 is RNP (Required Navigation Performance) capable, nor do I know enough about RNP to determine that myself.Does anyone know?Thanks.

Does anybody know how to get the FMS to re-calculate the TOD mid-flight? My flight was from NZWN, DAMBO, CC, BELEE, ODISI, DIVSU, NZCH (ILS RW20). When I settled in and cruising from CC to BELEE, the FMS VNAV page shows the TOD about the same distance as the DME shows NZCH. I used the DirectTo button to go direct to ODISI but the VNAV TOD does not update (it is no longer visible on VNAV page 2). As I expect to reach ODISI at 3,000 ft, that makes descent planning difficult. Possible Update. When about 60NM from ODISI, the VNAV page updated itself and gave me the correct descent plan, but I don't know if I did something to force it.
