PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

Hi all.I have just downloaded the easyfly repaint and noticed an error. The country name is detailed as Columbia. As well as anyone who has been to the wonderful country just south of Panama and proud to to be regarded as chibchombiano, this should read COLOMBIA!!!James

Just got the J41 tonight, and I'm absolutely blown away with the quality. I think this'll be my new favourite aircraft. Everything works beautifully, however, the ramp manager won't display at all when pressing SHIFT+2, or by selecting it from the "View" menu. The GPS and FMS will pop-up just fine, but the ramp manager will not. Any ideas?

Hi all, I'm sure its me, but I remember pre SP1, the FMS allowing me to control rate of descent.I don't see this feature below the FMS pop-up now, so what have I missed. I'm sure its pilot error!!!Thanks. Jack Sciutti

Just for info on here - been digging round and found the aircrew of the GFS JS41 - Pilot/CoPilot plus Aircrewmaster and a maximum of 5 passengers only. This applies only if you want to keep it reasonably accurate.Don't know about the 'cargo' weight as it carries air deployable liferafts, marker bouys, and so on... and of course the flir equipment.John Ellison

I was getting on with OK with JS41 prior to SP1. Now any attempt at altitude change on autopilot results in instantanious trim runaway, either up or down. Flight model seems strange too, as recovery is difficult with a very high rate of descent in a fairly flat attitude. I'm getting a wierd gray visual anomaly outside my front captain windscreen after SP1 (see screenshots). Its gray and right in the center of the captains windscreen and it changes shape as you move the view around.

I've has this aircraft for maybe 2 years, never really paid too much attention to the spot views, but when I was shooting a screenshot of a new livery today, something caught my eye....This is the PMDG Beech 1900D....is that Kirk and Spock flying my new Air Fresno Beech??????

Have I missed something about engaging the AP. Every time I engage during a climb, the plane goes nose up and I have to disengage and push the nose down to regain airspeed. I"m Nav capture mode and IAS selected. Thanks for the trick here. Have not burnt out an engine in weeks - but now the passengers are getting kind of green around the gills... This is the turboprop. Thanks.

This may be us (a sample of the populace of VATSIM-UK) being numpties but....When instructed to do a Direct To in the middle of long STAR but the waypoint we want would be on a second page of the available waypoints, the second page appears blank so we can't actually pick the one we need. All waypoints within the STAR up to the bottom of the first page are there but anything beyond that doesn't seem to exist. Is this "normal", or are we missing something or have we found a buggette? We're not sure which it is!TIA

Fellow JS users,I'm having a problem with the JS41 -Wonderful plane and just beautiful VC etc. I use Cockpit Chatter to verbally change headings/altitude/course/ etc. as I fly, mostly IFR and ILS flights.My other payware, such as the Citation Mustang, Pilatus-12, etc. all allow CC's use and all the commands work fine.I have found (in the two days I've owned the JS) that CC does NOT work - is this normal?????????Thanks in advancecthiggin

Hi,I sometimes have an overstress condition. All parameters are under maximum permitted. (speed torque EGT temp etc). I have had that overstress alarm few minutes ago.I was flying in icing wx conditions, all anti ice switches were turned on. Do i keep parameters too close of the maximum permitted. I am just trying to get a sense of whether my computer can handle the JS41 with decent framerates. I have the Fllight1 ATR72, and in VC mode, with normal textures (not hi-res), I get pretty smooth performance at KJFK. Does anyone else have this ATR, and the JS41, so you can tell me that if framerates are decent with the ATR, I should be OK with the JS41? I don't want to buy something that is going cause stutters and jerky performance. Thanks for the help.

I had a pleasant birthday surprise on Monday of this week. My son purchased the d/load link for the JS41 for me and fowarded the e-mail with all details to me so I was able to d/load, install and activate it. (I'm telling you this in case the PMDG guys are checking the customer lists looking for my name. They won't find it but will find my son's - Phil Smith. :( )As to the JS41 - wow! What an impressive piece of work guys! Well done indeed! And what a lot of reading I have to do. Because of other things happening (grandchildren, etc) I've only just printed off the tutorial and am about to start that flight.I did what I always do with new planes - took off without reading…

Current as of 9/23/2009Captains,Hope you're all enjoying the new aircraft!Here's a quick status update on some of the issues we're tracking and stuff that's been fixed for Service Pack 1 (SP1):CTDs:a. Happening at startup - these appear to be related to corrupt default flight situations, default flights that use other complex aircraft, and so on. We suggest rebuilding your FSX.cfg (just delete or rename the current one). Do not use complex addons with custom programming such as our aircraft, Level-D, Wilco etc as your default startup flight as this can cause conflicts that happen invisibly in the background. Your default flight should use the MS default ultralight, C172…
